Great location for our activities and staff is great, too!

On the 11th, we had a group of 12 at our site when the maintenance man went by our site with a front end loader, leveling the roads, 3 times. Then went by 2 times with a drag. He created so much dust as the wind was blowing in our direction so fill our camp area with billows of dust. This caused terrible breathing issues for us. We were all in our 70s and 80s. So disrespectful of their guests.

Loved the area and the RV park and employees were very nice and helpful but there are just too many Big rocks between the sites. In a week there I watched 2 buses back into rocks and my neighbor Bob ripped one of his wheels off his 5th wheel after hitting a Big rock. Less rocks would be much better.

Everything was good, especially liked the dog pens. Only complaint is the dragging rock while your clients / guests are outside enjoying themselves, dusting them and their coaches in the process if frankly rude and inconsiderate of your guests. People need to think about things like this and be more considerate of your guests..

Washing machine don't work tried to get my money back but the manager never gave it to me pool was dirty and the water was turned off but know one told use about it

Tha campground is really nice. The only problem with our campsite is when draining the holding tanks, the sewer drain is higher than the ground and I had to keep lifting the drain hose to empty

Really loved the location and the view; however, we paid for a 50ft site and could barely get our 38’ 5th wheel in the site (J2). Also, I had to do a 3-point turn to get out of the site. You would expect a pull through would be just that — a pull through, but it wasn’t. In addition, the facility was dumping water from the laundry room that was going right under our trailer, nearly hitting ou

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice campground. Only issue was mud outside our door after a heavy rain. Not that much could have been done considering the weather issue but we prefer grass sites to stone and dirt.

Wonderful campground. Well landscaped and easy access into sites. Nice amenities, pool, mini golf, giant slide. Great location for the gorge, canon city, rafting, etc. We plan to come back next year

Putt Putt Golf was not in good shape, almost non - playable. You also advertised the big slide. It never opened the entire time we were there.

My grandkids always have a blast here. There is so many activities in this campground and the Canon City/Royal Gorge area.

Clean, friendly, and great sites.

We loved the activities that were offered for the kids! Our kids throughly enjoyed them. Very nice campground.

Overlooking and understanding the terrain in the mountains. This place needs revamped spaces are tight, trees too close and need trimmed. The rocks they pile in decoration make navigation tight. Outside of that. The staff was friendly and the place is clean. We will be back.

Madisen went beyond what was needed to make our stay comfortable. She is quite the professional. KOA is lucky to have her.

Great KOA! Super awesome people who work here. We were here just a night and we were in G2. Only recommendation for them would be to add lighting at the entrance and at the ground for those that arrive late like us. Loved the fire pits and pull through sites. Beautiful scenery and great little dog areas at each row. Great pool area, and huge slide that is legit!

Everything was perfect. The only thing we had problems with was the placement of the rocks around each campsite. If is very difficult to maneuver a 30 Ft travel trailer and pick up truck around the rocks. I saw two other campers having trouble avoiding the rocks too.

Our spot was tiny & a tree was right beside us, that we couldn’t put our awning out. Our little patio was very small & only had a small spot around fire pit. We couldn’t put our mat out because it was a very small area. Also, the pool was closed & opened up for a day or so.

It was a good time. The only complaint I had was the WiFi didn't work. Its a beautiful location with fun things to do in the area. Great place for kids!

The staff does an amazing job maintaining the campgrounds. The playground and blue slide are in bad shape and need to be addressed immediately. Other than that, it is close to everything, quiet and we definitely plan on staying there again.

Great staff, nice campground handy to all that is going on. Worst thing for us was all the camper's starting fires ! My 5 wheel still smells of smoke. Couldn't go outside in the evenings and enjoy anything but smoke. Go to take a shower and you are engulfed in smoke ! My family & I learned a lot on that trip. People just do not care about others, period !

The facility itself was very nice but the management of the property left a lot to be desired. The spaces are way too small for the campers they assign. There is no room to park your vehicle so everyone was cramming in wherever they could. New campers couldn’t get down isles. No regulation of visitors to sites which left it even more cramped. I never saw an employee checking the park day or nigh

Very pretty area. We got a tree at our site which was great! Maybe require the dump hose gasket like others require. My wife actually thought I smelled bad but it was our neighbor. At least that's what I told her.

Great location staff was exceptional

None of the amenities or activities advertised were available and they didn’t even have Wi-Fi. The camp itself is aesthetically pleasing but I feel duped since literally nothing advertised was available. We booked based on those activities and amenities being available for our kids and were extremely disappointed. Had we known we would have stayed elsewhere.

Great staff and friendly service when I come this way I will stay here again

The Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA is easily accessed from US 50 in the heart of all the outdoor activities associated with the Royal Gorge (site-seeing, hiking, river rafting, scenic train rides, bicycling, zip lining, bungee jumping, etc.) …….. plus all of the restaurants, shops, and museums in Canon City. The Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA is a definite stop for family fun.

The campground is nice and maintained well. My only complaint would be the WiFi. The signal was terrible and we couldn't even connect most of the time. For a campground that size, they should have better WiFi.

KOA Canon City is an okay campground. There are a number of activities available for kids. Not much shade for most sites. Location is close to Royal Gorge bridge.

Stayed overnight while we were traveling farther west. Very nice campground with a beautiful view of the mountains and very close to the royal gorge. Was a little tight getting our 43 foot fifth wheel and 4 door dually in there but we made it work. We would definitely stay again.

We arrived at a tough time... the pool and laundry were both closed and our site had stickers all over it. If they tried to let me know this, I didn't notice the email... But there was a kids' movie, mini golf, and crafts to try to make up for it. The staff was dutifully solemn about this bad news. We went to the Royal Gorge Bridge and the prison museum. Both were great fun! Even tho they ha

Site itself was okay. But we had a dog across from us that started barking at 6:00 am and barked at every thing that moved. Very annoying

Sites are smaller than what the staff says they are, but are very nice. My friend booked a tent site with electric and they gave it to someone else and moved him to a non-electric. They moved him to electric site the next night but it was a pain breaking everything down and then putting it back up. Over all I would stay here again.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
