The cabin was certainly good, quiet hours were observed, but the location was probably the best part.

Beautiful campground, and great location near the Royal Gorge. However, we were very disappointed that almost none of the amenities listed on their website were offered (no smores buffet, no hunt for big foot, no BREAKFAST as stated). The slide was barely open during our stay. Our tub did not have a plug, there were no basic necessities in the KOA store (trash bags, dish sponges). I could go on.

Our favorite KOA in Colorado. Always so hospitable and the vibes are so chill with great views. Can’t beat a stay at the Canon City KOA. Love the easy going and friendly nature of the staff as a whole. Thank you for another great stay!

It's not one of the better koa camps we've stayed in, it was just okay. The pool was way too cold to use and the playground was old and very run down so the kids didn't have much to do. It looked like there were much better camping spots along the way.

We were pleasantly surprised by all of the fun things to do at the campground for kids. Also, it was a very hot weekend and we were happy to have AC in the “rustic” cabin �. A few suggestions: The merry go round was not a very safe item in the playground. There are two sinks in the women’s bathroom that you have to hold on to work, recommend replacing. Recommend a diaper changing tabl

Cabin smelled bad, cigarette smoke.Told office, they had no solutions.Were told the previous lodger smoked but couldn’t move us or had any cleaning products for us(deodorizer).Chair on porch falling apart & warped front door with gap at the top & bottom.Employees unconcerned about our situation/comfort. Bathroom sink didn’t drain & stall doors warped & hard to latch.This KOA needs to be cleane

Stayed at the KOA during our summer road trip, beautiful views, just needs some cleaning of the campground, putt putt was a mess, pool had tons of ants, need to update your playground and it is full of goat heads, my children were very sad they couldn’t ride the slide, and your website needs updated if things won’t be happening.

We really appreciate the kids' activities. They regularly ask us to come back so they can do the movie night, smores, hay rides, etc.

We stayed in a cabin. It was clean and had linens, a toaster and some cups along with normal items. The AC struggled the first night. Turns out is was full of dust and kept freezing up. I cleaned it the second night and it worked much better. The pool was very cold and had some bugs swimming in it. The pool deck also had a lot of ant mounds along with ants. Staff was friendly. Slide was closed.

I booked this specific cabin because of the concrete patio that was pictured and listed with the amenities as my mom uses a walker. We did not get it. Or really any of the amenities we were expecting. The slide was closed the whole time which was another selling point for us as I had my son with. We also didn't have hot water the whole trip. We do appreciate the 10% discount though.

Check in was awesome! Friendly Cabin was clean but very very hot - 95F. Cooler was not on took 1.5 hours to cool down enough to be inside. On Demand hot water did NOT work! Let it run for over 25 minutes to heat and nothing! Submitted texts to report and received no responses. We did not have public bathroom attire to use those showers so that sucked not having shower after long hot day!

Such a lovely koa! The landscaping and covered seating areas at each camp site was so nice to have! It had very well maintained grounds and facilities as well.

I would really like it if the decks were larger on the bigger cabins. I did notice severely warped wood on the small deck/porch. Composite wood would probably be the better choice.

We didn’t realize there was no kitchen sink or cooktop. Also, the slides were very seldomly open and the go cart track was no longer there. The store had very limited hours of operation. Other than those things the stay was okay.

The kids had a great time at the pool, slide, movie night, hay ride, s’mores. It was our 3rd time here but first time bringing kids. We will definitely be back.

Our stay was Great! We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin and it had all the amenities we needed. We cooked on the Propane Grill that was provided for us. We were there on a rainy Spring weekend, but it didn't matter. I think this would also be great for families as there are activities right on the property for the kids to enjoy. You can see the bridge from the cabins and it is just a few minute drive

We rented a cabin and it was very clean and nice. I grew up going to this camp ground, so glad to see it being taken care of. The only thing is we tried to be wine/alcohol, which is available in the store, but the only girl at the KOA is underage and unable to sell it to us. Which was frustrating as it is out and open in the store. The young girl was lovely but that’s a really weird thing by own

We stayed at this campground due to its proximity to the Royal Gorge Groove running and MTB races. We were pleasantly surprised with all the amenities included in the deluxe cabin...basically everything you would expect from a hotel room. Unfortunately, we lost hot water at the end of our 2nd day (of 3) and it was never restored. The office was always empty, with no employee to assist us.

We love staying at this KOA in a deluxe cabin. Also love the setup and views. Staff great too and delivered our wood to our cabin since the office was closed.

You cant go wrong with a KOA and this one was no exception. Lots of trees, beautiful views and plenty of room at each site. We had no issues with a 43' class A.
