Overall it was only okay. Bummed that we didn’t get to stay in the accommodation we booked. The “deluxe” cabin we ended up in had a sink and shower that didn’t drain — so we ended up using the shower house anyway. Not sure why there’s a daily resort fee either- maybe for the pool, but if you stay before it’s open, should you still have to pay that? Nothing else was going on… so ove

Beautiful campground. The sites are very unlevel. The sites are also small. We have a 35 foot camper and it and the truck would hardly fit in the site

Very disappointed that showers were not working and toilets not flushing. I didn't feel that I should have been charged full rate when you were not fully open and operating.

We had reservations for 2 nights. After staying 1 night my wife became ill and we had to leave a early. The office had not been open since we arrived. We determined that my wife had covid. I finally reached someone by phone the next day and requested a 1 day refund due to our circumstances. The lady flatly refused. Needless to say, we will never stay there again.The facilities needed much care.

Couldn’t plug into electric box. Told we had the wrong voltage cord for 30 Amp box, even though we have repeatedly used the same cord for 30 A and that came with original camper which was bought new. Told that if we used the cord we would be liable for any damages (the cord was wanting to draw from 20 A not 30A). Bought a cord from wal mart which still didn’t work. Main office closed all of

Campground sites not paved, very limited laundry (we had to go downtown). Dog park was dirt. Not very welcoming appearance. Not comparable to other KOAs we have stayed at.

The cabin was spacious and clean. Loved the giant fire pit. However, there was a sign on the office door that the attendant would be “back”. Rather than go in to town and get firewood and supplies, we waited then hours later we were told it was closed. They did hand deliver wood, but had we known we could have gone to town and made breakfast and lunch sooner. No pizza available.

Not worthy. We ask for adjoining spots, we had to drive around looking for our spots and they were not adjoining. When I called I was told they were close enough. The bathhouse was filthy and freezing, we had to clean the laundry to use it ourselves. Trash cans were overflowing. Too bad, nice view. Aaron the maintenance guy was nice, he was the only employee we saw. Office never opened.

Terrible customer service. No one was there to check in. We were told to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to give us our cabin key, but it took almost 45 minutes. Once we got our key, we were told there was no water, but it “should” be fixed that night. When asked why weren’t we told about the water beforehand,she said “it was out of our control.” Rude.No offer to compensate us for the inc

Stayed in camper cabin. Wasn’t clean as it could have been. Beds need updated, better than sleeping in tent. Bathroom needs better care. Great location to Royal Gorge

Didn't have our late checkin ready so had to call and didn’t have a map to find the spot in the dark. Also had an unleveled spot which doesn’t work well for a van. As a frequent customer of koa, I expect more.

This KOA was very unresponsive and rarely, if ever, had anyone in the office. Anytime we went to purchase firewood or even check-in, nobody was there. It seems they are very under staffed and it was obvious by their lack of availability. We ended up leaving early because we tried to visit the store 3 times on our first day, during hours they were supposed to be open, and nobody was there.

We stayed in November. Glad to find an RV park open all seasons with working hookups. Very quiet, clean, well maintained with great RV sites that are well planned out to provide ample space and comfort. Outstanding views and amenities. You can see the lights of the Royal Gorge Bridge at night. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

We camped here with friends for only 2 days. The grounds were nice. We had a site with a pet patio that was unusable to us. We have small dogs and the pen had a huge hole dug near the gate so I couldn't trust it to hold them.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints other than no TV reception or radio.

The large rocks surrounding the sites are hazardous to maneuvering large campers around and we had to back out of our pull through site because of hairpin turns near our site. If the campground was full, it would not have been possible. That said, however, the bathrooms were very clean and the nature trail was fantastic! Lots to do for kids if you come during the regular season.

HI! The camping cabin (no bathroom) and location were excellent. Nice fire pit. Dog run area. Clean Cabin. Mirror was a great touch. Easy check in and check out. The only thing I didn't realize there was not heat in the year round cabin - my fault for not calling a head of time! It was quite chilly but a night to remember! We will bring extra blankets next time.

You need to water some area of your grounds so dogs can have green grass to pee on. Everything was rocks, gravel or stickers. Campers travel with pets.

Beautiful campground! We had a lovely spot with a mature tree for some shade, awesome views for sunrise and sunset. Loved that it was only minutes from the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, Canon City, the train and lots of trails. Would definitely stay here again!!

It is probably the best KOA I’ve stayed at. Clean. Beautiful sites. Individual dog pens are really an extra. Just a well kept campground.

We totally loved being at this KOA. Spacious pull thru and great internet connection. Very convenient to all the sites and town. We would definitely come back!

Great use of natural rock in the area to build firepits at each site. Love that! Could use a second bathhouse further up hill. Long long walk from many sites to only bathroom.

I’ve stayed at this KOA a few times in the past but this time it was very impressive. Nothing for the kids to do. Slide didn’t work and everything looked run down. It is October but even the store had very little.

You cant go wrong with a KOA and this one was no exception. Lots of trees, beautiful views and plenty of room at each site. We had no issues with a 43' class A.
