Great amenities - slide, mini golf, pool, playground, sand volleyball court, and dog park! All were in good working order and we enjoyed them! The tent sites were private, yet close to the bathrooms which was great. The downside is the picnic tables and fire pits at the tent sites were neglected and in poor repair. Otherwise, everything was lovely about this KOA.

The staff was all very nice and friendly! The campground was kept very nice and clean. The only thing we had trouble with, is the waste hook-ups we're up way too high. We would suggest either putting them on the downslope of each site or having them lower where they are.

We've stayed here a couple times. We love the area and the location of the koa. The only issue we had this time was our site was a little small for the size of our camper.

This KOA is fabulous. Clean, beautiful views, wonderful sites, lots of great camp activities, perfectly located to enjoy the Royal Gorge, The Dinosaur Experience, wine tasting and so much more. All of the staff at the KOA were so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great Memorial Day weekend. We will absolutely be back.

Love the new improvements to the campsites (rocks, fire pits, concrete patios, furniture, canopies, etc.) & the increase in daily activities. All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. This was our 3rd stay at RG/CC KOA & it is quickly becoming our favorite campground. Only area for improvement would be to move bathroom cleanings to early afternoon rather than late morning. Great work by all

Only complaint is that the rest room cleaning on a busy holiday weekend should not be fine at 9am when folks want to shower and use the restrooms after coffee or breakfast. The posted cleaning hours are non peak hours but they weren’t followed.

It was a great time. Very clean The only issue we had is we had asked to be put together (a group of three) when we booked last January and we couldn't have been placed farther apart from each other. When we got there we asked if that could be accommodated and we were told no, but then we sat and watched people move around all weekend. Very discouraging on that part of it.

You do not seem to have a quite time very noisy until after midnight all the nights we were there we liked all the activities for the kids but when they cannot sleep not good Staff were all very pleasant

I have a fifth wheel and my site (E 46) was enough out of level from side-to-side, the capture plate broke off the RV. I had to put my leveling blocks under my vehicles wheels to come close to make it level enough to connect. I was at your campground last August and had the same problem. I figured it was just my hitch, but see now it was the uneven site. Otherwise, had a great time.

Our site was located next to the row of cabins. The cabin folks consistently used our site as a walkway to the cabins. Also had a couple of young children, unsupervised, try to play with our firepit which had a few remaining hot coals. Caught them before anything happened, asked them to leave and they did. Mom was trying to catch them and cut through our site. Not the best wkend.

What a change! There was so much improvement from the last time we stayed at Royal Gorge KOA. The restroom was nice and clean. Service was amazing! We used the shuttle up to Royal Gorge. That was so nice and convenient. The spot we got was also very nice! Thank you for the relaxing stay!

We are hardy tent campers, lots of back country experience; These "primitive" campsites are more primitive than BLM lands and some national parks; Not level, very rough rocky tent site; unmaintained fire rings; pitiful picnic table; Not expected from KOA; Main store/office restrooms out of service; Nearly 1/2 mile trek to other RR and Showers; Mandatory fee for resort features although not open;

Pool was closed. We expected a pool with our stay. Asked for a refund or discount when we saw pool was closed, and were not given one. We didnt get what we paid for! Pool should be opened by the 23rd of May. Even though campground had few tent campers they crammed us into one small area. We usually stay here a few times a year, but will not be returning. Also KOA office had poor hours.

Nice site, helpful hosts and great views. If we hadn’t stayed in a couple of other just great 5 of 5s this would get a 5. But in comparison to our favorites it is a 4. Recommended!

vehicles need KOA tags; People dry camping elsewhere came in to use showers and laundry. Converted school bus pulled into deluxe site to dump and fill water jugs. Not right that we paid $75 to $80 per night and these people are using facilities for free. Since no tv reception would be nice to receive texts when bad weather. an rv ran generator for over 12 hours beginning 2:15am. very loud.

Bathrooms were out of order and wife could not find the secondary bathrooms on the property during an emergency. Should have been notified at check-in.

This was a good place to stay and make our first trip of the RV season. We live only 8 miles away so it was easy to get there and visit friends at home.

Great location and access to activities. Sites are a little short to accommodate a longer trailer/truck combination. Dog park was not scooped and no bags available, work was needed there. Bathrooms/showers were some of the best I've seen.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
