The only thing that was exceptional was being allowed to check in early and check out late, but even that came with unnecessary pushback. The pool is TOO COLD!!! Mini golf, fun, but completely falling apart, no upkeep, needs a broom. False advertising, NO go- carts, the slide was rarely open. 5 days my kids got 1 hour. I could go on but your app won't let me type more. Feels about right. Sad

The Deluxe Cabin was great with comfort and necessities. Its structure was well insulated from cool nights. Staff was friendly. Our teenagers enjoyed grilling breakfast, lunch and dinner; and roasting hot dogs with us. It's location made it easy to travel to the Royal Gorge Park and scenic drives.

Nice place. Few negatives. Arrived 1.5 hours prior to check in time, but would have to pay extra to pull into the empty site. Had to try to find a place to park the 45' rv and wait 1.5 hrs. Also the camp site they had for us was BARELY long enough and there were a number of open spots. I asked if we could go to a different site, without even checking, the gal said nope. Many sites remained empty

Met a group of people for my friends 50th birthday. A lot of the group has kuds and there was so much for them to do! Everything was clean and kept up. The staff was off the charts friendly and helpful. Had an outstanding weekend. Thank you so much!

Beautiful campground settings but one of the dumpsters needs to be relocated because it blocks the landscaping view. Found the water pressure to be very low and in the men’s bathroom ran out of paper hand towels. Suggest installing second towel dispenser. My last comment is staffing hours are very limited. 4 to 6 hours a day is poor for a hospitality business.

The staff are great. The place was well kept up and nice. Only unfavorable comment is that of all the koas we have been to, this is the most tightly packed in.

Views are gorgeous and a cute perfect size. Bathrooms were decent. My kids loved the giant slide and merry go round play. The pool was cold. Honestly the worst part was the insane amount of red ants at the grass pad tent site. Dog paw got stung & mounds everywhere and crawling all over our site. The workers were so nice trying to help rid them best they could but it was rough. Would go back again.

Signage on the road is not very good nor is signage inside the park. It is marginally big rig friendly. Tight maneuvering room. Given that, it is in a beautiful spot and the staff was exceptionally helpful in finally finding a spot I could fit in. Overall it was a good stay.

We loved our stay at the KOA Royal Gorge! Great location, beautiful sites! Like most of the KOA's we've stayed in, in Colorado this one could also use an upgrade to the bathroom facilities. But, it was nothing to complain about!

The area is nice. The staff is very friendly and kind. The pool is lovely. The putt putt and other amenities need serious work. They are just old and worn. The offerings at the store are sufficient. We couldn’t get a toothbrush, which is a pretty common item, but they told us they sold out, so I’d gather that is something normally available. Love the dog off leash area!!!

Wow — what an incredible first stay at the Royal Gorge / Canon City KOA! The staff was friendly, and the park was spotless. The RV patio sites were newer and well-designed, and even the standard full hookup sites were landscaped and offered stunning mountain views. This KOA was breathtaking. I was surprised that you could see the Royal Gorge bridge from our cabin's front deck. The grounds are incredibly well maintained. I wanted to specifically give a shout out to the young women running the store and manning the kids activities. Over the weekend they were incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

There weren't many activities planned this year as there were in years past. I was highly disappointed about that, especially the activities for kids. The Royal Gorge KOA should have indoor activities and have a game room/TV room for their guest so they don't feel like they've wasted their money on this KOA when it rains

Amazing stay for our family! We have young kids and we stayed over the holiday weekend and all the planned free activities were truly amazing!!! We will definitely be back. We’ve already told friends about it too!

Our full hookup site had a broken water line that wasn’t usable and we were ableto move sites. Other campers were very loud past quiet hours and there was no onsite KOA representation past 4p. All other KOAs we’ve stayed at have staff roaming to make sure everything is going ok and others are being respectful. We ended up leaving a day early because of the obnoxious “campers”. Big disappoi

There were so many things to do and activities. Our grandchildren loved it. I, unfortunately, am awaiting medical tests to determine if I have cancer of the colon and pancreas. While weak and unwell, the park was the best we have stayed at and will return again after tests are complete and I am medically better.

We didn’t have any hot/ warm water in our cabin shower. I called the office and someone came to look at it but said they couldn’t fix it, to use showers in another building. That was a rip off for what I paid and disappointment.

Great location for Canon City and Gorge visits. We did wish the shade sails were a bit bigger as it is already getting pretty warm there, but the staff, Madison & Sativa specifically, were awesome and our site was great!!

This family owned/operated KOA is awesome! The campsites were large and accommodating, and the entire campground was very clean. They offer so much in their well-stocked store, & will even make you a pizza and deliver it to your campsite. They have a great shower house, pool, and events. Staff were amazing! Everyone was friendly and helpful! Lots to do in the area. We highly recommend this KOA!

FANTASTIC VIEWS, CLEAN KOA! Can't give 5 stars, the cabin we stayed in (#59) was OK, the sink drained slow even from just brushing our teeth. There are no pegs/hooks to hang coats, clothes or wet towels on in this cabin. We've stayed in a lot of KOA's and that issue was a first for us. One other thing, minor as it may seem, the curtain rods should be replaced with ones more sturdy.

Though the camp site and hook ups met the requirements, the staff (or lack of) failed to meet expectations of KOA. Other than our check in the office remained closed and phone contact was sporadic. Was informed they didn’t have the staff to keep it open.

The camp ground is beautiful and the staff is very kind. Definitely would recommend this site to anyone wanting to visit the Gorge. Just down the road from the entrance

You cant go wrong with a KOA and this one was no exception. Lots of trees, beautiful views and plenty of room at each site. We had no issues with a 43' class A.
