We stayed here to visit the Royal Gorge. The location in that sense is wonderful with the gorge being 10 mins away. We were put at a site right next to the residence that has two horses. I had hives the first night we arrived. The Hunt Brothers pizza I would not recommend, nor was the giant slide. It needs to be waxed or something. The K9 yard is sand and would be better if it was grass.

Overall, it was really lovely! Staff was friendly and helpful and the giant slide was very cool. The only complaint is that when we were there multiple showers were not working in the women’s restroom.

Other campers were being loud after 10pm. Also stink that the showers weren't working because of a pluming problem. The giant slide, pancakes that were provided and the pool was all fantastic.

Nice campground if you are in an RV. Driveway to the tent sites are for recreational vehicles. Huge rocks and a steep hill. We were on motorcycles and this driveway is not safe for motorcycles. Mentioned this to the staff and no one bothered to reach out to us. You sell alcohol but have underage kids working that are not allowed to sell it. Was a bit put off by the service.

Tent area difficult to navigate. Roads to get to this area are dangerous. Steps to Glamping tent were uneven and tricky for someone with a disability. Also too far from restrooms.

Mini-golf run down and trashed, pool area dirty and pool full of bugs. Slide closed when was told it would be open.

Biggest issues: Our glamping tent was missing a bed and we were not offered even a partial refund: Gave us a lame excuse. We had to buy an air mattress and sleeping bag. Our spot didn't have a fire ring/grill, so we couldn't cook, which meant we spent more money on food. Bathrooms were ridiculously far away considering how much we paid to stay there. Showers do not have drains. And I could go on.

From the first conversations with Jill and her willingness to be supportive and oh so helpful; to the enthusiasm of Jason working to try to find a solution to our issue; to helpful, practical Aaron, this is one KOA that we look forward to staying at over and over again. Cabin was cozy. Close to bathroom. People in office were awesome no matter how busy they were!!! Everyone mattered! Will stay again next year!!

Wonderful campground with many amenities! Very nice camp sites with a variety of different features. Staff working at the campground consisted of many young people who did not seem that interested in working there or being friendly. It doesn't appear that they like their jobs. Everything is well maintained except for the toilet and shower doors have no way to lock them.

We held a family reunion there. Rented 4 cabins and one pull through. The grandkids loved the slide and pool. It is conveniently located next to lots of attractions. We went to the Royal Gorge, Dinosaur museum, rafting and the train ride. The staff was very friendly. The only thing we weren't prepard for was the cabins didn't have any stoves in them but we made due with the grills.

The spots need to take into account people’s vehicles when pulling a 5th wheel. We had to move spots. Because we couldn’t get into the 1st spot. With the rocks you can’t get into the spots. Our friends traveling with us had to change 3 spots before they could fit. When I book patio spot at this KOA it’s picnic table on gravel, but tree overgrown over it can’t sit at.

Overall this day was pretty good restrooms were clean it was quiet peaceful and everything pretty good. The only thing that I didn't like was we planned a long time in advance got the right spot that we wanted. We even called the day before to make sure everything was okay but they at the last second switched Us sites. That kind of irritated me but the rest of the trip was fine.

Campground was nice and clean. Camp areas very tight, but not unbearable. Only two bathrooms, one in center of RV area and other at fa end. Tent campers had to walk a long way for a bathroom. Unfortunately, the cabin had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. I had to clean the toilet with supplies I had, bring our own toilet paper and paper towels and someone else’s sheets were still on one of the beds. I let the front desk know and they just said they were sorry for the miscommunication. It was already 8:00pm and I just said we would make do with it. Less than ideal.

Absolutely beautiful sites that are well kept. Many great features for family fun, slide, mini golf, pool, and play ground. You can see the royal gorge in the distance from most of the camp ground.

Beautiful campground, large sites, lots of trees. The restaurant/bar is great with good Servíce, good food and live music on weekends. If you have kids, they have activities galore.

The campsites were clean, well-spaced, and attractive with plantings and furniture. The shower house was cleaned regularly. However, during the busy weekend, the shower house needed more attention to keep it clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Store hours were convenient.

Rv sites were extremely small, not big enough to actually be outside the camper. The place needs updating and trees trimmed / dead life cut off / put of parking area for campers. Escorts should be trained. Escort said I was clear then ripped my awning off. Said I'd be contacted. No one reached out. Will file with small claims court once repairs are done.

Trees at the sites were a bit overgrown so we really had no choice but to allow the trees to move back and forth and smack against with our camper with the winds in the afternoon. Site was a bit narrow. Very little room to even get out of the camper without stepping on large rocks even being as far over as I could get away from the rocks.

Checked into the cabin and the smoke detector was dangling down, so they switched us to a different cabin, got to that one and the door didn’t seal, bugs were coming through the door, the air conditioner wouldn’t shut off it was super cold, we didn’t even end up sleeping in the cabin and had to sleep in a family members camper. Campground is great lots of fun but cabins not so much.

Everyone was very friendly. The area was beautiful. We really appreciated the fact they have a shuttle service and they were able to accommodate for our needs. We will definitely stay there again.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
