Cabin was cozy. Close to bathroom. People in office were awesome no matter how busy they were!!! Everyone mattered! Will stay again next year!!

Wonderful campground with many amenities! Very nice camp sites with a variety of different features. Staff working at the campground consisted of many young people who did not seem that interested in working there or being friendly. It doesn't appear that they like their jobs. Everything is well maintained except for the toilet and shower doors have no way to lock them.

Enjoyed our time there next time we will bring the grandkids they would enjoy your slide! The bathrooms were clean and loved the hot water showers. The wagon ride snd S’mores were a treat! Thank you

We held a family reunion there. Rented 4 cabins and one pull through. The grandkids loved the slide and pool. It is conveniently located next to lots of attractions. We went to the Royal Gorge, Dinosaur museum, rafting and the train ride. The staff was very friendly. The only thing we weren't prepard for was the cabins didn't have any stoves in them but we made due with the grills.

The spots need to take into account people’s vehicles when pulling a 5th wheel. We had to move spots. Because we couldn’t get into the 1st spot. With the rocks you can’t get into the spots. Our friends traveling with us had to change 3 spots before they could fit. When I book patio spot at this KOA it’s picnic table on gravel, but tree overgrown over it can’t sit at.

Overall this day was pretty good restrooms were clean it was quiet peaceful and everything pretty good. The only thing that I didn't like was we planned a long time in advance got the right spot that we wanted. We even called the day before to make sure everything was okay but they at the last second switched Us sites. That kind of irritated me but the rest of the trip was fine.

Campground was nice and clean. Camp areas very tight, but not unbearable. Only two bathrooms, one in center of RV area and other at fa end. Tent campers had to walk a long way for a bathroom. Tent areas were plentiful, but the Tent pads were not big enough for tents over 10x10. Loud arguments each night from late check-ins. Lots of fun activities on location and events for campers to atte

Unfortunately, the cabin had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. I had to clean the toilet with supplies I had, bring our own toilet paper and paper towels and someone else’s sheets were still on one of the beds. I let the front desk know and they just said they were sorry for the miscommunication. It was already 8:00pm and I just said we would make do with it. Less than ideal.

Absolutely beautiful sites that are well kept. Many great features for family fun, slide, mini golf, pool, and play ground. You can see the royal gorge in the distance from most of the camp ground.

Beautiful campground, large sites, lots of trees. The restaurant/bar is great with good Servíce, good food and live music on weekends. If you have kids, they have activities galore.

The campsites were clean, well-spaced, and attractive with plantings and furniture. The shower house was cleaned regularly. However, during the busy weekend, the shower house needed more attention to keep it clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Store hours were convenient.

We loved the place and the giant slide. You had lots of other activities for the kids and everyone as well. We are looking forward to coming again and it’s very convenient with the rafting place next door. Thank you

Rv sites were extremely small, not big enough to actually be outside the camper. The place needs updating and trees trimmed / dead life cut off / put of parking area for campers. Escorts should be trained. Escort said I was clear then ripped my awning off. Said I'd be contacted. No one reached out. Will file with small claims court once repairs are done.

Trees at the sites were a bit overgrown so we really had no choice but to allow the trees to move back and forth and smack against with our camper with the winds in the afternoon. Site was a bit narrow. Very little room to even get out of the camper without stepping on large rocks even being as far over as I could get away from the rocks.

Staff all helpful friendly and loved all the activities for the kiddos!!! Stayed 2 years in a row and will be back for a third !!!

Checked into the cabin and the smoke detector was dangling down, so they switched us to a different cabin, got to that one and the door didn’t seal, bugs were coming through the door, the air conditioner wouldn’t shut off it was super cold, we didn’t even end up sleeping in the cabin and had to sleep in a family members camper. Campground is great lots of fun but cabins not so much.

Everyone was very friendly. The area was beautiful. We really appreciated the fact they have a shuttle service and they were able to accommodate for our needs. We will definitely stay there again.

We were crammed into a site that was supposed to be for a 40ft trailer that had no room at either end. We had to back up and move away from the limbs that had not been tended to that were rubbing our trailer. We should have never been put there because to get out we had to back out to make the turn to exit the rv park. We have oulled this trailer for 5 years and other trailers for an additional 10

Nice place. There are some nice camp sites - mine had NO trees, NO sail shade, NO nice chairs - many others did. But it was a good stay. ALSO, the pool should have handle bars to get in/down the stairs. Many of our guests stubbed their toes because you couldn't tell where the steps started - maybe put a darker blue paint on the edge of the steps so they are visible.

Spots were spacious, very well kept. Activities were dated and not as nicely kept. Showers were tiny and bathrooms could’ve used more cleaning throughout the day. The pool was ice cold.

One of the nicest KOAs that we have stayed to date. The site was amazing it had a very nice patio to include incredible table and four chairs with an additional two chairs for the firepit. Easy drive to the Royal Gorge, as well as back to town. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay.

Friendly staff, nice sites, very close to the royal gorge, clean laundry room, 10-15 minutes from groceries and town (cañon city). I enjoyed the quaintness so much I booked another night.

We stay at the Royal Gorge KOA once or twice a year. The owners are awesome. The views are beautiful. No matter what size RV you have R.G.KOA can accommodate well. The place is always clean and the whole experience is geared to families. Kids of all ages have a great time here. The store os well stocked and reasonably priced. The Hunts Brother pizzas are a plus also. Looking forward to our next trip.
