Bedbugs in the cabin. And the loft area is ridiculously tight for sleeping adults. With 3-4 foot ceilings, you have to crawl around on your hands and knees to move around. Worst lodging experience ever.

We had a wonderful stay at the KOA Kings Dominion! The cabin was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and my family felt safe.

Very clean and well organized. My only gig was the cabin floor we stayed in (c5) was very sticky and dirty. We went to town and bought cleaning supplies. My suggestion is to actually clean the floors once a month.

Great value for the price and a comfortable stay with a family of six. Staff was cordial and cabin was clean and provided an hour before checking-in time.

I had an excellent experience at Kingston Main Campground! The campground was clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere for a great getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed my time there and made some wonderful memories. I highly recommend this campground

Girl Scout Troop 398 had a great time. I have only one suggestion (Put twin beds down stairs in the cabins that have handicap accommodations. Persons that have a handicap feel better not sharing a bed with anyone. Also, others may feel a little uncomfortable having to share the bed with someone who has a handicap. Other than this everything was great. (Secure the bathroom sink in cabin 24 better)

We stayed here for a Senior Class trip and everything was wonderful! The staff members were fantastic and friendly, while travel to King's Dominion was fast and easy. We will definitely return here.

The cabin was very big and spacious and fun. There was a cockroach and so I killed it in the middle of the night and then the next day sprayed the entire cabin with natural bug spray. I also had to clean the floors because they were sticky and gooey and so I swept and mopped with a towel there's a picture of the towel there and how filthy it was. It was fine. We did find blood on our sheets in the bedroom. So we took them off and used the extra blankets. The cabin can definitely use updating and a little bit more cleanliness. There were cobwebs everywhere. Other than that, it was great.

Everyone employee I talked with was lovely and extremely helpful. The cabin was amazing, however, there was an ant issue we tried our best to remedy during our stay.

The shuttle to KD was an unexpected bonus! The cabin was a little messy when we first got there with crumbs in various sleeping areas, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

My stay at Richmond North / Kings Dominion KOA Holiday was absolutely outstanding. Karen at the front desk was wonderful, Tony and Aurora led with excellence, and Rayvon & Deena kept everything spotless. The accommodations and hospitality were second to none. One of the finest teams I have ever encountered.

The property is wonderful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. However, I believe the cabins can definitely use some better upkeep. Maybe some cabins with more modern updates and not such dark curtains. Also, I would recommend USB outlets in the bedrooms for phones to be easily charged.

It was a nice stay- The ladies in the store- were great - very informative- very helpful- and very nice- We loved that there was a shuttle to and from the park- the only negative I could say is- that the kitchen- it could have some utensils - I know the website said it didn't - so- we did know- however- it would have been nice to have the basic's - and the futon cushion - could use a replacement-

First off the bathrooms was not clean they needed sweeping and people complained about the music during regular hours the staff should have told them it’s not quiet time yet and again the cabin wasn’t that clean at all

It was a little tight for the 6 of us. Employees were helpful and pleasant. Cabin was neat and clean. Refrigerator could have been a bit larger. Boards on the wooden steps and landing were loose. We had a good time and would stay again.

The campground was very accommodating to us back during the summer of 2025 when there was a water main break in the area causing closures. Because of this, we didn’t hesitate to book and stay for this trip we were planning. Signage was very clear where to go for check in, the staff was very helpful and we got into our cabin with no issues. The cabin was very clean and perfect for our needs.

Loved it. Was there for a trip to kings dominion. The cabinet was super cute. It was me, My wife and 4 kids. The older girls got the loft rooms, me and my son hit the futon and my wife and the grand baby took the main bedroom. A/C was super cold. Temp got into the high 90s and we were comfortable..the fire pit was great. We roasted marshmallows and made smokes. Great experience and will do it again

The air conditioner was falling apart and the stairs were dilapidated and needed new carpeting. The air conditioner worked and the bed for the main bedroom was squeaky. The TVs were not smart TVs and just had cable but thankfully I brought my Roku which I was able to connect to the HDMI on the side and watch what I wanted. There was no proper kitchen sitting area but there was a desk with two chairs so that was nice. The kids started at The Loft was fun. My daughter had bugs crawling on her at night. There were wasps outside. The staff was nice and gave us some more towels, but didn't bother to clean the floor even though you could see easily that it was filthy when we arrived. The shower head was very low so for someone 6 ft tall it hit my chest. It was nice that they had two bathrooms but it was very cramped quarters if you wanted to do anything inside of the bathrooms. Not enough room for toiletries up on a little sink. It was very much like staying in a motorhome. There was no stove top or oven. It was also no freezer in the refrigerator. The fridge didn't work nice and there was enough room to make little things like a sandwich or some toasted waffles etc. Little coffee maker worked. There were no cups or spoons or plates or any other utensils or anything that you might need provided. The little Rec Center up by the front was nice and had several games in a pool and a television and chessboard etcetera to play with. The shuttle was continuous and easy to use. No I did mention the downsides I still get of a four because overall it was fun, generally clean, and spacious for a family of four. There were five beds total and it was about 5 minutes away from Kings dominion. It wasn't very convenient for other grocery stores other than a convenience store that was nearby which was way overpriced. It was over 20 minutes round trip to get to a Walmart or Target or publix.

Great accommodations. All bathrooms of the Men's and Unisex gender, were extremely clean. Cleaner than I ever anticipated. Water is hot. They have really high water pressure here, have a regulator handy. I really wish they'd have after hours vending machines of useful things to purchase. Their shop closes at 9pm and Doswell has nothing to offer. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for after hours check-in. We will definitely be back, thank you all for the great experience!!!!
