Very nice sites, we had a full hook up with cement pad.. Restrooms were very clean and the Camp office/ Store was well stocked. We just had a one night stay as we were traveling home but are planning on returning with the grandkids to enjoy the campground and Old Dominion. Easy on off from I95 with the park entrance right there also.

Nice campground. Bathrooms/showers super clean. Convenient to I-95 and right next door to Kings Dominion if you're going there. Sites are not very long if you're looking to keep hooked up for an overnight stay (as we were). You have to unhook. Even then, parking was a bit of a challenge to stay out of the road. I have a 35 ft camper for reference.

Everything was in tip-top shape, from check-in to the campsite. The grounds were clean, and the bathrooms were well maintained. I will return.

Always a great clean campground to stay at. I love that the trash cans are everywhere so you can throw your trash out. Great playground, clean, close to the park with transportation to the park, friendly staff, and more. Thank you.

The campground and staff are excellent, but the campsite design is flawed. The pull-through sites are staggered driver side to driver side, which means neighboring campers end up sharing the utility area. Our neighbors appeared to be having issues with their water and sewer hookups and were working on them for several hours. Normally this would not be a big issue, but the sites are extremely close

We are actually local residents, we were having work done on our home and decided a week stay in the camper would be much better than trying to stay in the house while the work was being done. It worked out perfectly met some folks around us, which is always one thing I really enjoy when camping.

One night stay, pretty park, good facilities, clean. Next to Kings Dominion amusement park, so in season could be loud. Train tracks also with trains nearby. Sites are spacious & shady, asphalt in some cases but are site was not level. Water pressure is high. Pool looked inviting. Overall its a nice park close to I 95 to visit historical sites.

I followed the directions I was given to Site 213. Those directions were wrong as the electric pedestal was on the Passenger side! Thankfully, I have a RV extension cord and extra water hose! I am looking for another place to stay as your prices are getting to be overpriced for an overnight, we normally stay here twice a year.

We’ve been coming for years & it’s been nice & convienent for the park. BUT, this over charging on items that people need bc they’ve forgotten it. Not a good way to do business. You are making money on the site, your camp store should not be to gauge people My son-in-law paid 7-8.00 for a small ketchup! Ridiculous, to say the least. We are your guests, don’t overcharge us on water &

Very clean campground and dog park area. Didn't use any other amenities so I can't say anything about them. I would say the sites are short in length and kind of close. Hard to get a 42' 5th wheel into a site when neighbor site has their truck parked on the side of there RV or half in the main road.

very nice park the ground crew keep Park very clean.The only thing I don’t like about this Park is you have coin launcher? You have no way of getting coins once you’re in the buildings because they’re cashless facility, which I totally disagree with . I go for walks. I’d like to stop at the store pick up something to drink and use cash for small items

Although it was a single night in transit stay, I was happy that the utilities worked without intervention and the space I reserved as a motor home with trailer was large enough to accommodate us.

Let's start with the super helpful and accommodating staff at the front desk during check in. Awesome!!! I was able to shift campsites with no issues. Extending our stay due to unforeseen circumstances was equally easy and very much appreciated. Lovely campsite without being on top of another visitor and the grounds were lovely. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Love this campground. Safe area to camp. Clean . After campfires the staff clean up the ashes. Really like the team that works there. Will be back for sure. Thanks Dirk and Robin Gilliam

Very nice campground, pull through sites are spacious, paved and level. Only disappointment was the large group of tent campers with their loud Tom Tom music and bonfire late hours Saturday night displaying some sort of religious appathy. Several of our neighbors complained also to no avail.

We had no issues with getting checked in or any of the staff or amenities. The only comment I have is the store hours were not posted and I wish the store was open a bit earlier. But we were able to make everything work without too much worry. We will definitely be back!

Loved it. Was there for a trip to kings dominion. The cabinet was super cute. It was me, My wife and 4 kids. The older girls got the loft rooms, me and my son hit the futon and my wife and the grand baby took the main bedroom. A/C was super cold. Temp got into the high 90s and we were comfortable..the fire pit was great. We roasted marshmallows and made smokes. Great experience and will do it again

The cabin was very big and spacious and fun. There was a cockroach and so I killed it in the middle of the night and then the next day sprayed the entire cabin with natural bug spray. I also had to clean the floors because they were sticky and gooey and so I swept and mopped with a towel there's a picture of the towel there and how filthy it was. The air conditioner was falling apart and the stairs were dilapidated and needed new carpeting. The air conditioner worked and the bed for the main bedroom was squeaky. The TVs were not smart TVs and just had cable but thankfully I brought my Roku which I was able to connect to the HDMI on the side and watch what I wanted. There was no proper kitchen sitting area but there was a desk with two chairs so that was nice. The kids started at The Loft was fun. My daughter had bugs crawling on her at night. There were wasps outside. The staff was nice and gave us some more towels, but didn't bother to clean the floor even though you could see easily that it was filthy when we arrived. The shower head was very low so for someone 6 ft tall it hit my chest. It was nice that they had two bathrooms but it was very cramped quarters if you wanted to do anything inside of the bathrooms. Not enough room for toiletries up on a little sink. It was very much like staying in a motorhome. There was no stove top or oven. It was also no freezer in the refrigerator. The fridge didn't work nice and there was enough room to make little things like a sandwich or some toasted waffles etc. Little coffee maker worked. There were no cups or spoons or plates or any other utensils or anything that you might need provided. The little Rec Center up by the front was nice and had several games in a pool and a television and chessboard etcetera to play with. The shuttle was continuous and easy to use. No I did mention the downsides I still get of a four because overall it was fun, generally clean, and spacious for a family of four. There were five beds total and it was about 5 minutes away from Kings dominion. It wasn't very convenient for other grocery stores other than a convenience store that was nearby which was way overpriced. It was over 20 minutes round trip to get to a Walmart or Target or publix.

Great accommodations. All bathrooms of the Men's and Unisex gender, were extremely clean. Cleaner than I ever anticipated. Water is hot. They have really high water pressure here, have a regulator handy. I really wish they'd have after hours vending machines of useful things to purchase. Their shop closes at 9pm and Doswell has nothing to offer. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for after hours check-in. We will definitely be back, thank you all for the great experience!!!!
