The campgrounds met our expectations, we had an awesome time the staff and other campers were very polite welcoming and friendly. The campgrounds were awesome spacious and kid friendly. We had a blast Thank you for the great hospitality

This particular KOA is absolutely wonderful. The grounds are well taken care of, the public bathrooms and showers are as clean as can be. I would highly recommend this campground.

The cabin was super cute. My rec would be if you know the person is staying for more than 1 night, give more BIG black trash bags. One is just not enough. AND as for the pool. CLEAN IT DAILY. We saw THE SAME wad of hair in the filter both days. It was certainly not appealing. Otherwise, wonderful stay.

Great place for a nice relaxing fun filled vacation, employees was totally sweet and helpful, they have excellent after hour security for help if needed or any questions that you may have also love that the shuttle takes you to and from kings dominion all throughout the day and don't leave until the lasy person has left the park

We absolutely love this campground! We were suppose to check out on Friday & really wanted to stay another day but unfortunately it was booked up. We spoke with Ms. Pam in the office & asked her to please let us know if anyone cancelled, we would even happily move. Within an hour Ms. Pam called us to let us know she found a cabin for us. Above & beyond! Thanks Ms. Pam!!!

My family & I really enjoyed our cabin and the amenities. Front desk staff were really friendly & helpful. We loved the close proximity to King's Dominion. Ceiling fan & vents were a bit dusty, but the AC was adequate enough to keep the cabin cool in the heat. We will very likely visit again.

The Cabin and campground area was amazing! The convenient store had a decent amount of items, and the pool was nice. The whole camp ground was very neat and well maintained. The cabins were really well designed and maximized the space incredibly well! I would happily stay there again just to get away for a weekend!

Campgrounds and store is very nice. Nice pool and playground area. Very friendly staff. But, items in camp store are way overpriced. Surfaces in cabins were clean. Floors were dirty and still had trash and food crumbs from previous occupants. Bedroom was missing the door.

Very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cabin was clean and the only problem occurred when it rained so hard that the steps leading into the cabin had a huge lake of water in front of it. Talked to the front desk about the issue and they said that they would look into it.

We had a great experience at KOA! The cabin was fun, and inviting. The kids enjoyed the pool and ice cream shop at the store. I totally appreciated the shuttle to Kings Dominion. We will be back again!

We have rented at KOA / Kings Dominion with the exception of 2020 & 2021 since the cabins were added at the camp ground. The first couple of years the cabin was awesome but this year (2023) we rented cabin 11 & 15 and there were many things broken such as light fixtures, bathroom latches and in our room (15) the entire wall outlet was coming out of the wall. Regular maintenance is needed.

There were food particles in the kitchen vent where I observed a roach exiting and scurrying across the floor. If my daughter and granddaughters had seen it, they would have freaked. It would have ruined our weekend with no place to stay. It's a shame because we enjoyed the cabin over a hotel room.

This was a cute and comfy camping area right next to Kings Dominion. The customer service was out of this world. They make sure to go out of their way to accommodate your requests and make you comfortable. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. If all KOAs are like this, this is the start of a wonderful relationship! Thank you Abby and the individual that checked us in!

Stay was great. A little trouble with the water temperature at the cabin but easy to deal with. Lots of room for the kids in the cabin to spread out and a great place to stay after a really long day at the park.

Shelley’s House brought its youth group to KOA in Kings Dominion. The ages of the youth ranged from 3 years to 16 years old! They really enjoyed the cabin and so did I! Park is nice & clean. But the cabin we stayed in needs maintenance done. Porch railing needs new wood, bathroom faucet handle turns both ways, frig needs to be thawed. The ice buildup froze some food. Also talked with people at the pool & they weren't staying there. They said they bring their kids there to swim.

We really enjoyed our deluxe cabin. We were three adult sisters and five kids ages 9 to 13. The kids enjoyed the loft and the moms took the three comfy beds on the main floor. The cabin was new, clean, and well organized. The store is well stocked with everything you could need. The staff in the store is kind and helpful. We bought our park tickets in the store and got a great discount.

We rented the cabin for a week, very nice, very comfortable bed and the extra appliances ( coffee pot and toaster ) made it perfect for breakfast Making in the mornings, we will definitely be back..shuttle to and from the amusement park was perfect with very friendly drivers that went out of their way to make sure we didn't have long wait periods between the runs..

Beautiful campground. We stayed in one of the cabins( cabin10). Staff is great. Only two complaints, which I suppose I should have brought to your attention when I was there. The kitchenette sink faucet is very dirty, the sprayer had old food stuck to it and mold was growing. One of the cabins across from us were pretty loud and I believe smoking pot… we could smell it and it wasn’t cigaret

We rented 2 campsite and 1 cabin for family to attend a wedding party in the area. Nice, clean campground. We would definitely stay here again.

Cabins are very expensive but are nice. Grill didn't work but the staff fixed the issue. The staff is what makes it 5 star.

We stayed in a cabin. The camp was clean. We missed the camp store, but from what I saw, they have EVERYTHING! The cabin was beautiful and so nice, more than I expected. The theme in the campground was family and we saw everyone walking, playing, or enjoying a bonfire.. 10/10 will DEFINITELY stay again I didn't take pictures, I only made a video of our cabin and can't upload, sorry... But you should rent a cabin! 😁

We just spent the weekend here and overall had a nice experience. This review is based on our stay in the 30 amp back in sites at the front of the campground. PROS: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, trash pick up at site Nice woodsy feel in parts of the campground Pool and playground looked nice Fenced in dog area and "dog bath" at shower house Close proximity to I95 and Kings Dominion (with free shuttle) CONS: Some gravel RV sites very uneven, we were fortunate to have a decent site although hard to back in due to all the trees, narrow drive, other sites around us were not as good. Super bright lights are turned on at night toward front of campground which takes away from the "camping" feel. Lack of hot water in shower! Another unusual thing is that there was a huge event going on at the campground over the weekend with LOUD music blaring until 11 PM - I doubt this is a regular thing but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. In a nutshell - if you want a convenient place to stop overnight off 95 or want a family friendly place to stay to enjoy Kings Dominion, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was in the area for something specific.

If you get a chance rent KOA cabin was very pleased. Went to Rodeo. This is a camp 🏕 ground.
