We camped for 4 nights here. The campground, pool, and our bathhouse was clean. My only issue we had was that our campsite had the water & an old sewer hole directly in the outdoor living space of our camper. It was site 271. I would recommend that this site be demolished… or have a camp host live at this spot. Other than this everything was great! Nice staff and the shuttle bus was perfect!

Overnight stop to & from Hilton Head in a 38’ class A motorhome. First “super site” was not level at all and had to use many leveling blocks under wheels/jacks for system to level our unit. Second site was a concrete pad & hook-ups were problematic with sewer on one side & electric and water on the other. We always love coming to the kings dominion KOA. Always clean and great facilities. Water pressure is awesome too haha. So nice to be camping at our home park. Love it!

The campground itself is wonderful and everybody is very friendly. The issue is with our site. It was completely flooded. We were not able to put out a rug or camping chairs. We could not have a campfire as our firing was submerged underwater. This also made it attract a lot of bugs.

The nightly rate is relatively high (which I assume is due to its proximity to Kings Dominion) but they certainly don't provide/maintain facilities to the degree one would expect for the cost.

This is the best place to say. So relaxing. Staff are amazing. Everyone works hard and is super friendly. Highly recommend and wish more places could be of this caliber.

Great stay except the space we were in flooded so bad we had about 4 foot that we could move around outside our door. Water was 6in up the table. It was a mess. But all else great

Best pool! Lots of fun activities. Great layout of campsites. Comfy lounge. Super friendly and helpful staff. Laundry room and bathrooms didn't appear to get cleaned during our 2 day stay.

Stayed 3 nights. Right at kings dominion. It rained causing most all sites to flood. Bathrooms smelled of sewage and womens shower had no hot water. Arrived to a fire pit filled with old food and flies. Ants everywhere at picnic table.

We only stayed one night so we didn't use any of the amenities. The campgrounds were well maintained and very clean. The site we stayed in was pretty close to the next site.

I love the proximity to Kings Dominion, especially having the free shuttled. The campground itself needs a refresh I think. My site where I was staying flooded big time when it rained, so it was all muddy. The staff was great though, answered all my questions. I would stay there again but would like to see a little bit of a refresh.

We enjoyed the cabin, the playground, and the pool, and the staff were fantastic. It might be an idea to tell guests that there is central air in the cabins, or set it to air conditioning for them. We only found the window unit upstairs and our cabin was absolutely sweltering the first night. The second night we found the central air control which for some reason had been set to Emergency Heat!

Our stay was great. Staff was friendly. We weren't able to fill our propane tanks but can't fault people when they get sick. Grounds were well kept, pool was so clean and nice. We will be back in our travels �

First of all, I love the lady who works at the store; she has the patience of a saint! We had an issue with the cabin's air, and it was addressed very quickly. They were also great, as my 3-year-old grandson thought he was going to help the guy fixing it - he was very kind. We always love staying here; everyone who works there is nice, and the grounds are always well-kept and clean!

We were very disappointed in the pool situation on the 4th of July. Even though the lightening had long stopped for more than an hour, the pool did not reopen. When it's 100 degrees and there is little else to do, this is unfair. I understand it probably takes a lot of work to clear the pool out, but as guests, we pay a lot to stay here.

Not KOA fault but we were welcomed with a nasty neighbor who was fighting with a KOA employee. My husband felt bad for the KOA employee and watched to make sure the employee was protected. We only stayed overnight but would like to come back and check out the other side of the campground.

They have a pool which my kids enjoyed. The dog park is very bad. There is a small area with nothing but broken trees and only slide in there. The campground is very clean. There is security driving around. There is no activities.

Electric didn’t work @ 118. Cement pad 2 inches higher than ground. Made backing up to connect car to camper harder.

Needs trees for shade. Pool needs to be skimmed. Lots of staff in store, but only one poor old man doing any manual labor. God bless that man!

My children loved this campground. It was the perfect place to take 4 teenagers. They enjoyed swimming in the pool and getting ice cream at the camp store. They are already asking to go again.

Was great to be able to get an over night stay at the last minute. Thankful because I was having trouble with my rig. All was good the next morning, highly recommend this park. Thank you so much for making my travel with ease!

It was a short stay but very nice. It was hard leveling up the camper for the sewer...should have pulled up farther on the site maybe? The filters needed cleaning in the pool. Loved the campground. Lots of shade trees! It was very convenient to ride the shuttle bus over to Kings Dominion.

The only thing I would comment is to tell the guests if they will be getting housekeeping service for towels and trash, but the staff is awesome. The facilities are great. Making lots of good family memories staying with you.

We had a nice stay here for four nights. Easy access off interstate. We had a issue with our first campsite, and the staff in the office worked hard to find us a new spot. Everyone was super nice. We used shuttle to go to Kings Dominion and staff was so patient in loading times for all the kids. Bathhouse could've been a little cleaner, but we think we caught it right before cleaning them.

I have already encouraged Girl Scout troop to camp out here and they had a great time. My family, grand and great grandchildren loved it. The space was clean and staff friendly.

The cabins here are spectacular. You can literally walk to the park. Cabins are very clean, spacious considering it's a cabin. Watch your head if you're heading to loft area beds. Outdoor table and fire ring. Parking is good. Very clean cabins. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome corner pull thru site. Plenty of grass for the Dogs. Beautiful patio and firepit. Staff was very nice. One minor complaint, while they had trash cans in abundance there were no stations with poop bags. So many of us travel with our Dogs and we had bags, just nice when the campground has them also. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this campground!
