Not as clean as previous years. We stayed in cabin. Many ants throughout cabin. Outside many mosquitoes possibly by water seems like area not sprayed for mosquitoes. We had young children getting bit. Told office not sure they cared.

We've stayed here many times before without any issues. But............this visit was awful. The site we were given was way too small for our rig. We switched to another site and the electricity wasn't working. Tried a different site but it was about 6 inches underwater. Finally got a site.........but we had to to dial down to 30 amps. So we spent about an hour trying to park. Not fun!

The campground and cabin were beautiful. The cabin was very comfortable for our large family. I would say the staff could be more welcoming upon arrival. They were very quiet and not enthused. The lodge and store were fun and accommodating. We loved the pool and games. The shuttle to KD was a huge plus! Overall, my family had an amazing time, and would consider returning in the future!

Check-in was easy. Our cabin was ready an hour early. It could've been cleaned better. There was a gummy and ramen noodle on the floor I'm not sure how it was overlooked, dead bugs as if it wasn't swept and some dirt/hair on the bathroom floor. The pool was gross with clumps of hair, but people were swimming. For $500 for two nights, it could've been cleaner. The kids had fun.

The KOA location was perfect. They had a shuttle that ran constantly to and from Kings Dominion. Staff was very friendly. The campers were very respectful. Clean showers and bathrooms

Overall the campground was nice, it ended up raining when we were there and the tent camp site that we had got really muddy it was like a flooded mud pit so that was disappointing because it left the rest of the trip unpleasant. Also, the pool was over came with dead bugs and when someone asked the guys to skim it they came out and had an attitude about it and was trying to confront people thepool

everything was quite good for the most part. location good, facilities good, pool nice. only issue was the trees we were under dropped those spiky balls and my dog kept stepping on them. maybe making an effort to rake them up? idk, i hate cutting down trees, but those really should go.

We loved staying at the Kings Dominion KOA!!! We traditionally do more back country camping, but still felt close to nature while tent camping here. The showers and multiple bathroom locations were very convenient, we loved using the shuttle to get to and from the park, and the grates on the firepits made it so easy to cook meals over the fire. The staff were also friendly and helpful!

Such a lovely campground! Lots of nice shade, tons of trees, well kept and very well run. Polite, friendly staff. Nice and quiet other than the occasional train nearby (not very often and not at night) and the nightly 9pm King’s Dominion park fireworks. Well priced and a great value. Something for everyone from primitive to premium!

I was impressed with the general store. People were friendly. We asked to move our spot was unable to get our vehicle and camper on concrete. Also it dipped bad and had mud that could have been removed with shovel. New site better. Visited the pool it had lots of floating debris in it and looked like the patio or pool hadn’t been cleaned. Saw lots of staff but little movement. Sites-need some TL

Condition of campground is mediocre. There are definite needs for up keep and maintenance. The central pull thru sites are too close back to back, making it difficult to setup and tear down with units that close and multiple slides. The shuttle was also hit or miss. Waited 30 min in 96 degree heat at 4 pm out front of the park without shade or cover. Didn't justify the high cost.

The camp overall was very well maintained with great staff. We stayed in the cabin and was a great choice for our visit to Kings Dominion.

The bath house was extremely dirty for both men and women. The women’s toilets leaked and there was an inch of standing water. You had to walk through it to get to the shower area as it was too wide to hop over. Each shower stall was dirty and while we showered early, the hot water lasted five minutes and then turned cold. The shuttle drivers were kind, professional, and on time.

We camped for 4 nights here. The campground, pool, and our bathhouse was clean. My only issue we had was that our campsite had the water & an old sewer hole directly in the outdoor living space of our camper. It was site 271. I would recommend that this site be demolished… or have a camp host live at this spot. Other than this everything was great! Nice staff and the shuttle bus was perfect!

Overnight stop to & from Hilton Head in a 38’ class A motorhome. First “super site” was not level at all and had to use many leveling blocks under wheels/jacks for system to level our unit. Second site was a concrete pad & hook-ups were problematic with sewer on one side & electric and water on the other. We always love coming to the kings dominion KOA. Always clean and great facilities. Water pressure is awesome too haha. So nice to be camping at our home park. Love it!

The campground itself is wonderful and everybody is very friendly. The issue is with our site. It was completely flooded. We were not able to put out a rug or camping chairs. We could not have a campfire as our firing was submerged underwater. This also made it attract a lot of bugs.

The nightly rate is relatively high (which I assume is due to its proximity to Kings Dominion) but they certainly don't provide/maintain facilities to the degree one would expect for the cost.

The cabins here are spectacular. You can literally walk to the park. Cabins are very clean, spacious considering it's a cabin. Watch your head if you're heading to loft area beds. Outdoor table and fire ring. Parking is good. Very clean cabins. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome corner pull thru site. Plenty of grass for the Dogs. Beautiful patio and firepit. Staff was very nice. One minor complaint, while they had trash cans in abundance there were no stations with poop bags. So many of us travel with our Dogs and we had bags, just nice when the campground has them also. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this campground!
