We were looking for an easy off/on overnight stay on I-95. The recent snow storm was a concern, but the camp roads were reasonably cleared. Having access to water at below freezing temperatures was a bonus.

Very convenient easy access off the interstate. Well organized and clean well kept. Our stay was in January I can’t say how things are during the busy month I would hope the same.

Other than train noise, this is a very nice campground. Sites are spacious and well kept. Close to Kings Dominion work shuttle service.

Stayed here in a travel trailer on an electric/water pull thru site in January on our way south. Super convenient to I95 north and south bound exits. Site was level with a paved pad. Campground is clean, treed and well laid out with modern cabins and playground. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA. Staff members were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. Sites were very neat. Bathrooms were clean and the store was well stocked with items that we needed to help make our stay more enjoyable. Getting propane was very easy and laundry facilities were all in good order and easy to use.

We love this spot for quick overnights on our way south from NJ. Even in frigid temps, site was perfect. Appreciate the care this KOA shows it's facility and guests!

Very convenient location for hoping on and off the highway. We were traveling south and just needed a night stopover. Will definitely stay again.

Site was a sheet of ice and water there and asupply was frozen solid I have stopped a couple of times there and overnighr stays were good I will give it another try sometime because of past visits

Nice staff, nice campground, easy access from I95 BUT THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING TO MAKE SURE THE PROPANE PUMP DOESN'T FREEZE. WE DESPERATELY NEEDED PROPANE

We've stayed here several times, both on vacation with the grandkids and overnight stops when passing thru to Florida. Airways neat and clean and spacious sites. Very easy access to 95. The shuttle is great when going to the amusement park. Plenty of activities to entertain kids.

Good experience at this campground with our 33'. We had a full hook-up site. We wanted a concrete pad but I guess none were available. The gravel back-in site was not even close to level, so be prepared with your leveling blocks. Mature hardwoods and evergreens. Plenty of shade where we were, though some parts aren't shaded. Best perk: free shuttle bus to and from Kings Dominion, which is only a few minutes away. Tickets are sold at the reservation desk, making it super easy and convenient to go, even if you didn't initially plan to. Bathhouses are great, too. Though I don't usually need one, I do go check them out. One word of note is there is a section of the campground - seems to be water and electric only - that appears to have culvert draining issues, as there's some standing water in ditches. Be sure to have bug spray and citronella if you're there. On the map, it's the section directly across from the store's front door. “Dominator Drive” is one of the roads there.

To clarify, the 'rooms' for me are the campground RV sites. Very well maintained campground, awesome staff! Great rates! Free shuttle to Kings Dominion Theme Park. I would highly recommend!!
