Fine facility, good location. Also appreciated the staffer who came out to tell the guest who parked his pickup on our site (what are people thinking?) to move it out.

Very tight turning into pull thrust. Saw several people with problems. No where to park my truck. Park was clean , people were pleasant

Rainy day, but great to have paved slip. Only issue was did not have 50 amp.

Strange water and electric hookups in the front of trailer. It rained and was very muddy due to not enough gravel. Cement pads don’t have patios. Great pressure in showers but lacked hooks and shelves and curtain looked moldy.

Pull through was sloped so much that 6” of leveling wasn’t enough to level my class C. U-turn for the pull through section is pretty tight. A little more radius would be helpful for the larger RV’s. Wifi not functioning at all. Everything else about the stay was satisfactory.

We tent camped for three days and visited Kings Dominion. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The facilities were clean and well maintained. We will be back!

Excellent staff and facilities. Bathrooms very clean and grounds are maintained very well. Only difficulty was getting our rig into the site due to a light pole situated to block 2 sites. Finally got it in and all was well. Will definitely be back for future visits.

I booked on-line a back-in water and electric site, which said it was the last one available. When we arrived at the campground, we were parked right next to another camper and there were at least 4 similar empty sites on the other side of us. Why was this back-in site termed "last one available"? And why not space campers out with empty sites between?

It’s a mud pit when it rains, don’t think you are going to use your picnic table or fire ring. They are mostly buddy sites so expect to have a neighbor 2 feet from your window every night. I was underwhelmed.

Everything was great except our site was near the pool/playground and the large flood lights around it stayed on all night. This made it hard enjoy sitting outside with the lights shining in our eyes. It would have been nice if they shut off when the playground closed at dark. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Disappointed, when we called Richmond KOA wanted to reserve 2 nights, were told only 1 night was available. Had to reserve 1 night at Fredericksburg KOA. While we were at Richmond KOA asked for a second night, lots of vacant lots, however couldn’t get reimbursed by Fredericksburg KOA. If Richmond KOA would of given us 2 nights we wouldn’t have had to make a reservation at Fredericksburg KOA

Nicely kept KOA but strangely, they allow some pretty big puddle-prone areas to exist. Should get the maintenance guy who travels round and round the campground incessantly in the white KOA pickup truck to fill them in with gravel or something.

Good experience at this campground with our 33'. We had a full hook-up site. We wanted a concrete pad but I guess none were available. The gravel back-in site was not even close to level, so be prepared with your leveling blocks. Mature hardwoods and evergreens. Plenty of shade where we were, though some parts aren't shaded. Best perk: free shuttle bus to and from Kings Dominion, which is only a few minutes away. Tickets are sold at the reservation desk, making it super easy and convenient to go, even if you didn't initially plan to. Bathhouses are great, too. Though I don't usually need one, I do go check them out. One word of note is there is a section of the campground - seems to be water and electric only - that appears to have culvert draining issues, as there's some standing water in ditches. Be sure to have bug spray and citronella if you're there. On the map, it's the section directly across from the store's front door. “Dominator Drive” is one of the roads there.
