Constant dog barking and howling from the campers while owners are at the park. We really don't like having our hook ups on the wrong side. We are local. We've been here twice. We've decided not to come back

Always nice! We pass through twice a year and wouldn’t stop anywhere else. Spotless bathrooms, nice sites, pleasant and helpful Office staff. Easy on and off 95.

We had a water puddle that we had to walk through to get in RV. I know you can’t do anything about the rain. It would be nice if the whole park got TV. Must KOA we stay have internet and TV without playing extra.

The first campsite there was room for the truck or tent but not both. There was a parking area but was taken up by the Campers next to me so I was told to move. Found a great big site. The site next was flooded. Found out because the other end of the water pipe was not capped. So every time I used the water, water would flow to the other site. Both Bathrooms were located in the rv areas.

Easy in and out. Easy hook ups but very close to next coach. Should have been placed in different spot so as not to be almost on top of next spot. We were in 193. However, will happily stay again next trip.

We stayed in a buddy pull through site and the area between was more than enough for kids to play etc. WIFI was not extremely strong but with few drops and consistent strength I was able to work from my camper without resorting to my phone hotspot.

Absolutely beautiful place to go! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The facilities are clean. If you need to do laundry make sure to bring quarters.

Very friendly,helpful staff.Allowed us w/o issue to change sites when we decided the one we requested wasn’t going to work.Facilities well-maintained,security patrol made us feel safe. Easily walkable campground.Deep discounted KD tix were a nice bonus,shuttle was convenient.There is high water pressure but you are made aware of this on the site, in your reservation email,& in your check-in emai

Check out of the cabin was agreed upon at 11am. House keeping entered without knocking to my wife getting dressed at 10:30am. Privacy is key. Very upsetting.

There is a grounds or campground worker he is older black gentleman. Who had been there quite a while. But anyhow he is a great person employee he has helped me before but very pleasant and jovial person. I hope you as a company know how much of a valuable employee they have

I was very disappointed to arrive and find I had been assigned a gravel back in spot as I always select a concrete pad when I stay. Needless to say, it was a flooded muddy mess with the rains. The rear of the camper sank in the mud, it was a muddy mess trying to get in and out. Have never been disappointed in my previous stays but was very disappointed in this one.

Everything was wonderful in the cabin. The bed was comfortable, the sinks and shower worked well, and the campground is a perfect and convenient place to stay while visiting Kings Dominion. I definitely plan to stay here again!

I have stayed at this KOA several times; this was by far the worse. The areas were small and confusing as to which rv space was mine. The water, electric and sewer outlets appeared to just be randomly placed. I will never stay on that side of the campgrounds again. My previous stays were on the padded side of the park, and those stays were 5 star.

The staff is very nice and helpful. It is right next to a railroad track but it doesn’t bother us. I wish the laundry room had a quarter machine. Also, some guests do drive too fast on the main road in and out to the sites.

Friendly and helpful staff. Campground very clean, easily accessible hook-ups. Friday and Saturday night rates too high.

We usually love it here but our recent stay was upsetting. The staff put a travel trailor right on top of us, we woke up to a slide literally inches away from our slide. there were many, many sites available. The staff needs to pay attention to this.

Nice facility & has LOTS of options. Seems ti have a high water pressure so be certain you have a water regulator. It would have been nice to know this from the campsite ahead of time. The pressure to was too high for our rented camper and we ended up unhooking the water line. The folks at the reception desk & on-call are very responsive and came to our aid quickly.

This was our first time here at Richmond/North, and we were very happy. Excellent level site, bathrooms very big and very clean, roads were nice to drive through. Beautiful, big store, and very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be returning here!!

We have stayed here several times. We were in site 203 this time. The attempted expansion of the sites with crush and run is terrible. I would think someone would attempt to compact the material rather than have it tracked all over the site and RV.

It was a nice overnight stay. The camp was very clean and well looked after. I look forward to coming back and staying in one of the luxury spots for a weekend.

Very clean and well kept campground, Our site was very close to camper in the next site, not a big deal because we only stayed one night, might be an issue for a longer stay. Very clean and up to date bathrooms.

We just spent the weekend here and overall had a nice experience. This review is based on our stay in the 30 amp back in sites at the front of the campground. PROS: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, trash pick up at site Nice woodsy feel in parts of the campground Pool and playground looked nice Fenced in dog area and "dog bath" at shower house Close proximity to I95 and Kings Dominion (with free shuttle) CONS: Some gravel RV sites very uneven, we were fortunate to have a decent site although hard to back in due to all the trees, narrow drive, other sites around us were not as good. Super bright lights are turned on at night toward front of campground which takes away from the "camping" feel. Lack of hot water in shower! Another unusual thing is that there was a huge event going on at the campground over the weekend with LOUD music blaring until 11 PM - I doubt this is a regular thing but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. In a nutshell - if you want a convenient place to stop overnight off 95 or want a family friendly place to stay to enjoy Kings Dominion, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was in the area for something specific.

If you get a chance rent KOA cabin was very pleased. Went to Rodeo. This is a camp 🏕 ground.

We stayed in a cabin for two nights and would 100% recommend!! We had seven people between two families and the accommodations were PERFECT. I cannot stress how clean it was…even when I pulled one of the futons out from the wall to make it into a bed, the floor under and behind it was spotless! Amazing! The public bathrooms were also immaculate. We stayed here for two nights with the express purpose of going to King's Dominion and greatly appreciated the shuttle. The kids enjoyed the playground and ball rentals a few times. Overall, 10/10!
