Showers could use some help

We had an amazing time. The campground was very clean. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the shuttle back and forth to Kings Dominion. We will definitely be back again!!

We used the laundry room & it was clean. Had a cable issue & called the office, someone came right out & fixed it. Clean campground with room between sites.

We enjoy staying here when traveling, we stayed here several times and always have a good time. The place is clean and set up nice. We had a problem this time with the site we picked, the site was long and not as level as I like. We went to office and they happily moved us to another site that was cement and that made us happy.

The 1st site was not doable The 2nd site was unreachable due to traffic blocking entrance had to circle 2 times But for the most part we always love the KOA I don’t think we will return next year Not due to the kOA. But king’s Dominion’s has been sold and the rules and fees food etc have changed to the point of unacceptable Our season passes didn’t cover Fright Fest everythin

Overall the atmosphere and the staff were great. The rates were reasonable. I would recommend that the cabins are deep cleaned and possibly upgraded furniture. I would recommend and stay again.

We were rolling in late. They told me where to get my paperwork and check in the next morning. Our site was next and level. The staff was great too.

Stayed in the past and always had a great time. This stay, there was a very large group of tent campers who were smoking weed, playing loud music, having sex in the cars in open view, and using a lot of profanity throughout the night. Security didn’t seem to manage the group or shut it down. We had 6 kids, that were exposed to it all. Can’t see us returning when that was allowed.

The bed in the bedroom was very hard and the springs were very loud when you moved. The television in our cabin in the bedroom turned on by itself. The toilet paper holder in the one bathroom was broken. I actually stayed in the same cabin two years ago and had the same issues. I love the cabin but C5 needs some repairs and replacement.

Easy. Only a couple of sites are strange. We were at site 236 and had to go into site next to their Pinic table to hook water and electric. Felt uncomfortable with this.

Great campground and nice staff. We were disappointed that the laundry room was pretty dirty. We had to actually clean out mud and debris from the washers before we could use them.

The women's showers weren't great, but they were adequate. My shower had very little water pressure. The shower stalls were positioned so that 3 had space to put stuff and 3 did not with the doors opening in different ways.

We stayed while our son showed cattle at the fair and it was very clean and convenient place to stay at a decent price

As always, the staff was wonderful. But the cable TV reception was not good on our site. A week earlier, we stayed on site 198 and the TV reception was good. Someone might want to check site 201.

Bathroom flooding in stand alone bath house. The floor of toilets area had 1/2 inch of standing water, no squeegy or mop in site! Interesting that caution signs in place for wet floors! We’ve been stopping here past 9 years traveling from NY to Florida and again heading north in the Spring. Bathroom needs better ventilation and showers need better drainage. Disappointing conditions this yea

Our stay went well and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The sites are small and very closely placed which doesn't afford much room to spread out. We had two vehicles and there was barely enough space for one, let alone two. The common electrical and water hookups also compromise the usable space on many of the lots. My connection consumed additional space of the neighboring site.

I came back to my tent at 6 pm and was dismayed to see my tent sitting in a 25 feet diameter pool of water four inches deep. The campground needs improved drainage. There was a culvert running along the tent area, but no water was moving through it - likely plugged. Until the drainage is improved, I would recommend no tent camping here. Even for RV's, there was standing water on their sites.

Our site was terrible. All dirt and massive tree roots everywhere we couldn’t even put out our mat to cover the dirt for a clean area to sit. Also not level. # 287. The store and check in area was very nice.

We loved the beauty of the area, laundry facility, and store. I didn't like the bathrooms. The showers made the floor all wet, even in the bathroom area

Our site was tight for a 30 ft RV and we definitely stated that it is 30 feet long. The dog park area gate is broken so I couldn't let my dog roam off leash to relieve himself. The nearby trains woke me up. Nothing the KOA could do about it, I deal with it for Journeys, but Holidays?

Wonderful campground. Very pretty, lots of trees for shade Nice staff, clean bathrooms with nice hot showers. A fire ring at each site, bonus.The way our rig is configured we could not access the sewer line. But we only stayed one night and used their dump stayion

The shower pressure near site 199 is so high you can’t keep anything in the shower area. Other than that the stay was exceptional.

Bathhouse toilet was never cleaned from Friday until Sunday until I told the young man. I also asked if he was aware that the bathroom was flooded he said no. Sunday shower took an unbelievable amount of time to get hot. Became too hot turned down lathered up hair and water was cold. Crossed over to the other side water was freezing. Not a very pleasant experience with bathhouse. Very disappointed

Great stay…all the way from check-in to great site and grounds were in great shape…hot water in men’s shower could use some help…took a long time to get hot and very little hot water once it got hot

The cabins here are spectacular. You can literally walk to the park. Cabins are very clean, spacious considering it's a cabin. Watch your head if you're heading to loft area beds. Outdoor table and fire ring. Parking is good. Very clean cabins. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome corner pull thru site. Plenty of grass for the Dogs. Beautiful patio and firepit. Staff was very nice. One minor complaint, while they had trash cans in abundance there were no stations with poop bags. So many of us travel with our Dogs and we had bags, just nice when the campground has them also. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this campground!
