You can’t put a 44 fifth wheel in a corner lot to tight hard to get in and out.

Very nice campground that we use for a stop over on our travels. Clean pool, laundry room comes in handy. Friendly staff.

It was fine. We did find blood on our sheets in the bedroom. So we took them off and used the extra blankets. The cabin can definitely use updating and a little bit more cleanliness. There were cobwebs everywhere. Other than that, it was great.

We love Richmond North KOA! It is hands- down the cleanest, best maintained campground that we have visited in our 9 years of camping.

Definitely our favorite KOA. Full campground but plenty of room between sites to enjoy sitting outside. Staff very professional and always ready to help. Bathrooms very clean and well maintained. Shuttle to and from park is an added bonus.

Smaller KOA with big rig options! Friendly staff go above and beyond. Just off 95 but far enough there’s no road noise. Lots of shade. 10 stars! We are repeat campers. Danny G in Bedford Va

I was traveling, so I was only there for one night. The staff was very professional and friendly. The campground was beautiful and clean. I would highly recommend it.

The site we were at (209) had a sewer line that was too far away from my trailer. Yet, the other site adjacent, (210) their sewer line was right next to their pad. With that, I had to purchase more RHINO sewer lines from the KOA store for $132.00! I wasn’t too pleased about that purchase. Gentleman at the reception deck offered to move us to another site, but we had already detached the trail

We had a great stay. The staff is awesome. Our site was nice and very quiet. However the bath houses are in need of some work. There were several stalls with broke locks and broken shower heads or handles.

It was a lovely campground with lots of amenities. 95 was close and a bit loud but nothing that would keep you awake at night ;)

We were pleased with our stay at the Kings Dominion KOA. We rented one of their cabins, and it was very comfortable.

outstanding campground. Clean concrete pads with full hookups. Staff is very professional and always ready to help.

We only stayed overnight. Had a pull thru, full hook up patio site. Very level on concrete. A little tricky pulling 41 foot fifth wheel in due to street signs and water trenches but once in all was good. All utilities worked well including WiFi. Would recommend.

There was a large family party / reunion across the drive from us. Loud music day and into the evening ending at 10:30 p.m. This was all amplified music, not just a small speaker; crowd had to be even noiser because of the loud music. Next day it started again in early afternoon. My wife called to complain of shouting on the 2nd night at 2:00 a.m. Kings Dom = family, not noise all night

This is our favorite camping stop. As KD season pass holder, we stay here 2-3 times a year. The staff is wonderful, grounds and facilities are well maintained. We’ll be back for Labor Day weekend!

Everyone employee I talked with was lovely and extremely helpful. The cabin was amazing, however, there was an ant issue we tried our best to remedy during our stay.

Loved it. Was there for a trip to kings dominion. The cabinet was super cute. It was me, My wife and 4 kids. The older girls got the loft rooms, me and my son hit the futon and my wife and the grand baby took the main bedroom. A/C was super cold. Temp got into the high 90s and we were comfortable..the fire pit was great. We roasted marshmallows and made smokes. Great experience and will do it again

The cabin was very big and spacious and fun. There was a cockroach and so I killed it in the middle of the night and then the next day sprayed the entire cabin with natural bug spray. I also had to clean the floors because they were sticky and gooey and so I swept and mopped with a towel there's a picture of the towel there and how filthy it was. The air conditioner was falling apart and the stairs were dilapidated and needed new carpeting. The air conditioner worked and the bed for the main bedroom was squeaky. The TVs were not smart TVs and just had cable but thankfully I brought my Roku which I was able to connect to the HDMI on the side and watch what I wanted. There was no proper kitchen sitting area but there was a desk with two chairs so that was nice. The kids started at The Loft was fun. My daughter had bugs crawling on her at night. There were wasps outside. The staff was nice and gave us some more towels, but didn't bother to clean the floor even though you could see easily that it was filthy when we arrived. The shower head was very low so for someone 6 ft tall it hit my chest. It was nice that they had two bathrooms but it was very cramped quarters if you wanted to do anything inside of the bathrooms. Not enough room for toiletries up on a little sink. It was very much like staying in a motorhome. There was no stove top or oven. It was also no freezer in the refrigerator. The fridge didn't work nice and there was enough room to make little things like a sandwich or some toasted waffles etc. Little coffee maker worked. There were no cups or spoons or plates or any other utensils or anything that you might need provided. The little Rec Center up by the front was nice and had several games in a pool and a television and chessboard etcetera to play with. The shuttle was continuous and easy to use. No I did mention the downsides I still get of a four because overall it was fun, generally clean, and spacious for a family of four. There were five beds total and it was about 5 minutes away from Kings dominion. It wasn't very convenient for other grocery stores other than a convenience store that was nearby which was way overpriced. It was over 20 minutes round trip to get to a Walmart or Target or publix.

Great accommodations. All bathrooms of the Men's and Unisex gender, were extremely clean. Cleaner than I ever anticipated. Water is hot. They have really high water pressure here, have a regulator handy. I really wish they'd have after hours vending machines of useful things to purchase. Their shop closes at 9pm and Doswell has nothing to offer. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for after hours check-in. We will definitely be back, thank you all for the great experience!!!!
