We stayed in a cabin. It was clean and spacious. Staff offered us towels and supplies to be restocked each day and were very kind! We enjoyed using the playground and pool. The location cannot be beat for access to King's Dominion and made it easy to come and go from the park throughout our stay. We'll definitely be back!

Great location when visiting Kings Dominion. Wish the pool was open till at least 8. The pool is larger than any other KOA we've been to

Stayed to visit KD. Your park was extremely convenient. Hot water was lovely, as was having a dishwashing station...thank you! Bathrooms were a little dirty and one nearest to our site (243) had a clogged toilet for some time. Lady who checked us in didn't ask us if we were season's pass holders to KD, but lady who sold us wood did. So, we were able to get a discount on our site's balance.

Stay was for 3 days. Came to relax and go to Kings Dominion. Facility was very clean people were nice and was fun seeing all the campers with kids out enjoying themselves

The site we stayed in was tight but fortunately there was not a camper opposite us so we could get out. Overall the stay was nice and great for going to Kings Dominion especially since you can get discounted tickets and shuttle. Staff was nice.

The staff is always friendly and responsive if an issue arises. The pool, bath houses, and store are clean and well stocked. The shuttle service to and from the amusement park is a nice perk. We usually stay in site 195 but this time we stayed in site 216 and our only complaint is more gravel because there is no way to grow grass on this shady site. I love the shade but not the mud when it rains.

We had a few little quirks with our cabin. Like the toilet seat came fell off, and we had 2 remotes for 4 TV's, and one of the bed side lights were out. Nothing major and we loved our stay. We can't wait to come stay again!

Enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion is that more lighting is needed. At night it’s hard to see. Very dark around the streets. Once at the cabin area it’s ok but very dark on the streets.

Units are dated and in need of replacement or repair(soft floor/uneven floor) overall better cleaning practices. We had a very pleasant stay, updating the rental units and better cleaning would make the property exceptional.

Beautiful campground. Only reason I cannot give higher rating is the cars exceeding (sometimes by a lot) the 5mph speed limit in campground. I would never bring my grandkids there because of this. Nor could I recommend to anyone with children who like to ride bikes around campground Maybe some speed bumps can be installed.

Our cabin was very clean and had everything promised. The shuttle to the park was a great bonus, however the driver of the shuttle (I wish I had gotten his name) was our ray of sunshine. His kindness and joy made us all feel so welcome and happy! :)

Ants and spiders all over! In the beds and under the pillows!! I will say checking in and out super easy. But I had 3 kids with me scared to death of spiders crawling on them in bed.

Staff was friendly and flexible. Maybe I missed it but I was not aware after hours check-in was just the room key placed in an unlocked box - that could get dangerous. The cabin itself was pretty clean. All of the windows were unlocked when I arrived, which made me feel uneasy after arriving late with children. The grounds were clean and had nice amenities for the kids.

Campground was great. Cabin was just right for us and had plenty of space for 6 of us. Perfect for a few night stay to visit King's Dominion.

The staff were very friendly. The cabin had ants in the kitchen, which the staff attended to. The ceiling fan was horribly dirty. The info card said staff would be by between 11-4 to swap towels and to leave them in the tub. This is what we did and can back to the cabin after a long day at the amusement park to all our towels still in the tub. The hours for the store seemed short to me.

The campground was ok! They had a shuttle to the park which was wonderful. My reason for not giving it 5 stars, was the pool. Big beautiful pool, but it was very dirty. That was definitely a disappointment. I also was asked if I wanted a printed receipt or e mailed to me. I opted for e mail, but have not yet received it.

this was a very large campground and we have never been there before. At other KOA and other campgrounds an employee in a golf cart lead us to our campsite and made sure we were ok with it before the employee left us. Not here they circled our campsite and the office and that was it. the sewage hook up was a long way from the water and electricity.

We enjoyed our stay at the King's Dominion KOA. The bathrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. It was convenient to our King's Dominion trip and the kids loved camping. My only complaint would be the street light near our campsite which left our tent very bright at night. Next time, I would request something further from a light.

The stay was good, enjoyed the campground itself but bathrooms were not very clean. They had an awful smell all the days of our stays and the showers do not have any room to put thing. As soon as you walk in the stall you are in the shower.

Loved everything about this camp ground. We used our small camper and stayed across from the pool. It was perfect for our grandsons. Lots were tight and unleveled. But it was still perfect for us to go to kings Dominion and to play. PERFECT

Loved it. Was there for a trip to kings dominion. The cabinet was super cute. It was me, My wife and 4 kids. The older girls got the loft rooms, me and my son hit the futon and my wife and the grand baby took the main bedroom. A/C was super cold. Temp got into the high 90s and we were comfortable..the fire pit was great. We roasted marshmallows and made smokes. Great experience and will do it again

The cabin was very big and spacious and fun. There was a cockroach and so I killed it in the middle of the night and then the next day sprayed the entire cabin with natural bug spray. I also had to clean the floors because they were sticky and gooey and so I swept and mopped with a towel there's a picture of the towel there and how filthy it was. The air conditioner was falling apart and the stairs were dilapidated and needed new carpeting. The air conditioner worked and the bed for the main bedroom was squeaky. The TVs were not smart TVs and just had cable but thankfully I brought my Roku which I was able to connect to the HDMI on the side and watch what I wanted. There was no proper kitchen sitting area but there was a desk with two chairs so that was nice. The kids started at The Loft was fun. My daughter had bugs crawling on her at night. There were wasps outside. The staff was nice and gave us some more towels, but didn't bother to clean the floor even though you could see easily that it was filthy when we arrived. The shower head was very low so for someone 6 ft tall it hit my chest. It was nice that they had two bathrooms but it was very cramped quarters if you wanted to do anything inside of the bathrooms. Not enough room for toiletries up on a little sink. It was very much like staying in a motorhome. There was no stove top or oven. It was also no freezer in the refrigerator. The fridge didn't work nice and there was enough room to make little things like a sandwich or some toasted waffles etc. Little coffee maker worked. There were no cups or spoons or plates or any other utensils or anything that you might need provided. The little Rec Center up by the front was nice and had several games in a pool and a television and chessboard etcetera to play with. The shuttle was continuous and easy to use. No I did mention the downsides I still get of a four because overall it was fun, generally clean, and spacious for a family of four. There were five beds total and it was about 5 minutes away from Kings dominion. It wasn't very convenient for other grocery stores other than a convenience store that was nearby which was way overpriced. It was over 20 minutes round trip to get to a Walmart or Target or publix.

Great accommodations. All bathrooms of the Men's and Unisex gender, were extremely clean. Cleaner than I ever anticipated. Water is hot. They have really high water pressure here, have a regulator handy. I really wish they'd have after hours vending machines of useful things to purchase. Their shop closes at 9pm and Doswell has nothing to offer. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for after hours check-in. We will definitely be back, thank you all for the great experience!!!!
