It was clean, staff friendly and helpful We arrived late and have a truck camper Would have preferred a level site as we are older and it can be tough getting in and out especially when the unit is in an up hill incline or the other way around We ordered 2 bundles of wood Was extremely wet had moss growing on it so not much of a fire We like to unwind from a long drive with a nice fire

We asked to have our points applied and the woman at the desk didn’t know how to do it…said we would have to redeem them at the next campground. That’s not how it works.

Park needs a lot of ma Maintenance sites were a mess. Not good for big rigs road is not in great shape going into park and out.

Nice area for a campground. Could use some updates on leveling sites and compared to other KOA’s the Patio site was a little on the high end.

Unkept, grown up with weeds/grass, store never opened. Asphalt pad that are all broken and so uneven that the few of us that were there were using anything we could get to get our campers level. Trash bins over flowing and were not ever emptied the 3 days we stayed. We had 6 nights reserved and left after 3. We paid for a "Premium" site of $100 a night! No refund at all. Disappointed this is a KOA

The management was very helpful and accommodating, since Renfro Valley did not have electric at their campground. We had 4 campers, and they were able to get us 4 sites near each other. The bath houses and restrooms were clean and nice. It was a late April trip, so we couldn’t try out the pool, but they had putt putt, shuffleboard to try. It rained about 1.5 days, but we had fun!

Roads are to narrow for todays bigger rv’s. Broken down asphalt at pull thrus. Office was not open on arrival day or departure day, we arrived during business hours, not after hours. Grass needed mowed and trimmed, this gave an unkept appearance to the facility.

Skip this KOA. Nothing level, road in hardly wide enough for rig, campsite not easily accessible with tow vehicle. Not a well maintained campground. Girl at registration was friendly. Only plus to this KOA!

I realize they are just coming out of winter but the grounds and patios were not cleaned up. But it was quit and friendly.

The cement front pad were flat and the back half was broken in half and on a steep angle (this was on many sites). We hooked up to the water and it was GREEN! We let it run and it stayed cloudy. We could not use it! Leaving the park, the roads are very narrow, and steep it went over a somewhat bridge, you had to have your brakes on constantly. It needs a lot of updating throughout the park!

Had we known that there was a giant hill to climb and also exit, we probably would have not stayed there. The staff were super friendly. However, the site they designated for us did not suit our fifth wheel.

Would give 0 Star if possible. Arrived before 4PM and office was closed. Went to the assigned spot but electric was mis wired (ground and hot were switched). Called both the site's main number - no voicemail set up and called the "If you need assistance number" left message at 4:18PM. WAS NEVER CALLED BACK! Spots are extremely unlevel. Site is very run down, shocked it is a KOA, avoid RENFRO!

Everything worked but the sewer had a extra cut in where it was repaired but the old connection was not filled in. It smelled. The store was closed all days during our stay.

Unfortunately our stay was not as positive an experience as we had anticipated. Upon arrival at 1:00 pm, no staff was available to resolve an issue we had with the site that was assigned to us, we had to wait until 2:00 to speak to someone. They gave us a different site but the park seems to be neglected The park is listed as a KOA Holiday, but definitely needs some TLC. We left early.

Campground unkept. Playground equipment broken. Dead trees with widow makers in limbs above putt putt golf course. Leaf debre from prior season covering campsites. No trash pickup and dumpster overflowing. We were told to put trash next to dumpster on the ground.With maintenance and just campground up keep it could become a really nice campground.

Early in the season so understand the campground is not fully cleaned and picked up yet. Our site needed to be mowed and picked up. The mens bathroom was flooded. There was a squeegee in the bathroom and I did the best I could but did not expect to be put to work. Overall will stop again when we have more time to explore the area

This is a nice campground. Note the asphalt pads are narrow. Bathroom is clean. Quiet area off highway.

We arrived after the office was closed, and it was extremely dark and difficult to find our site because of poor lighting. I would strongly encourage anyone who is staying there to get there during the daylight hours.

Friendly staff, and accmodating. Entire facility needs an extensive upgrade. Had sitw W/ grill. Grill was totally rusted out.

Very first time EVER camping with our brand new camper we just purchased a month ago and it was GREAT! We even meet some very good friends of ours who were camping there too! We had the best time and it was so relaxing and enjoyed our time together!

Lots of things for kids to do but the roads and sites are in horrible shape. Fire-pits were awful. No water pressure. Our sewer hook up was up hill from our site. Not what we expect from a KOA

Staff particularly the office manager was outstanding. We ended up at the Renfro Valley KOA due to road trouble and she was understanding and offered to help us in anyway. Camping sites could be upgraded by leveling the sites and new asphalt.

Got to the KOA at 4:30 and the office had already had closed. Our campsite wasn’t level and the asphalt was cracking. The campground looked rundown but it was a clean campground.

The roads within the park are rutted and have large pot holes: my truck and RV tires were covered in mud. The site had a blacktop pad that was broken up and very unlevel. It took me quite a while to get to level. The overall campground seemed unkempt as well. The office opened late on the weekend, so we did not get to ask specific questions before we left on Sunday at 10:30am.

I was in the office at 10:00 am but may have been in the laundry room. I do leave my number on the door and will always come immediately!

Staff very friendly. Clean grounds and playground is cute . Bathroom dirty.sites are horribly unlevel and pavement cracking. We have stayed here twice and both times had trouble with our sites. Not a quick stop campground.

Might be the best small KOA we've stayed at. Very friendly folks.Great hiking trails on the top of the moutain . Something to do every night . THE best site i've had, quiet, shaded n peaceful . Mostly ol folks like us , but always nice to see young familys.
