Very nice people that work there. Check in was easy. Water pressure was terrible, husband complained. Office people said they get complaints all the time about the water. Lady in the office said they need another meter. It’s ok for a 1 night stay.

It was just a quick overnight, but we love being able to stay at this site. Easy in and out and we had a nice pull thru site.

Staff were friendly! We stayed for three nights. If you are looking for an overnight or two fits the bill. If you enjoy rustic, this will make you happy. If you are a cat lover, they have about three of them that freely roam the campground. It was quiet while we were there Saturday thru Tuesday morning.

The stay was great. We were in a patio site. It was very nice. However as we walked through the campground I’m not too sure about the other sites. They looked very uneven and not very well kept. That being said I still loved the campground and we have already booked another stay for Halloween weekend.

We had a very Nice 6 night stay. This KOA on the hillside was Quiet and Clean. The management and staff were ALL very helpful, attentive and felt like Family. The WiFi was outstanding! Hot dog/margarita friday, was fun, and made new friends. We visited a local attractions, 2 Battlefields and 2 flea markets, along with the Col.Sanders Cafe and Museum. Being from IN, this KY visit was great! Thanks!

Gracious, helpful staff, clean cabin and rest rooms. Enjoyed Friday night hot dogs and margaritas. Only criticisms, cabin had one electrical outlet down, leaving only two for 3 guys to charge phones, etc. (another outlet was taken by the AC), plus a tepee had mold growing on it.

Power had issues. I carry 2 power monitors/protectors. both reported open ground and refused to connect to campground power. I was late and I was exhausted so I just ran on internal power, defeats the reason for paying for the campground. Will not stay here again. There was a large breed very aggressive dog in a nearby campsite as well. no thanks

The staff were very friendly but someone should warn folks with on demand water heaters that there is not enough water pressure to trigger the water heater.

The drives were narrow and hard to maneuver our 5th wheel to the site that we were assigned; not ideal for a pull through site.

The staff was fantastic, she stayed late to check us in and show us to our site. The bad part was the water pressure was very low and no cable. Nice enough for an overnight stay.

Spot was very unlevl with potholes in the assault. Employee stressed not to leave trash in firepit and our site had trash from previous campers. Rv spot had was not cleared of debris (lots of tree leaves). We were not escorted to our site.

We do check firepits prior to every arrival but could have missed one. Keeping up with the leaves is an ongoing project!

Arrived around 1400, door to the office locked. However door unlocked a few minutes later. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Site was great being close to the bathrooms (we are seniors tent camping for only the second time). In our 50+ years of camping, we have seen a striking deterioration in the physical properties of most all campgrounds. This one is no exception.

Renfro Valley KOA is located in an absolutely beautiful part of Kentucky, close to area attractions, and the Interstate. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Plenty of trees and nice size sites. Very quiet and comfortable for all Kampers! My highest recommendation to anyone looking for a single nite or multiple nites. Oh... and... it's close to town for food and supplies! Nice place!!!

Nice, clean park, friendly staff. However, tight lots for a 40’, towing big rig. Water pressure was terrible.

We wish you would have let us know you were unhappy with your site and we would have gladly moved you. We agree with the water pressure and it is somoething we discuss with the city refularly.

We popped in overnight. Since it was a Sunday night, it was pretty empty. Our only complaint was that we pull a teardrop without a restroom, and while there were many spots empty that were much closer to the restroom than us, we had a bit of a hike. Otherwise, the place was clean. We came in late, and found our paperwork easily, got on the road early, and don't have much else to say.

We wish you would have called and asked for a site nearer the restroom. We have no way of seeing whether or not you need to be near restrooms. We would have gladly moved you!

Folks working here are nice and tried to be helpful. However this park is NOT big rig friendly. The road in and out is very skinny, winding and has about a 10% grade. Several places where rigs had gone off the paved road when leaving. Our site was not level. The turn when you get into the park was extremely tight. Definitely NOT worth $75 for one night. Website should state NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY!

Mr. 'Mike" was exceptionally hospitable! We like to camp primitively and there was no fire ring. We had reservations about starting a fire because it had been quite dry. He happily brought us one from a vacant camp site. Bathroom at the welcome center was clean and functional. Primitive area was clean, mowed and tidy. We had an excellent stay! Thank y'all!!

We had a lovely time! The young man that worked there was very friendly, helpful and respectful. Truely an inspirationally young man! The staff were all very friendly and helpful also!

Only issue for us is there's really nothing to do in the area. The site we had was really nice; level, patio, FH, felt as if we were in a forest. We like to explore. We did visit the Music Hall of Fame down the road and found a local's restaurant. Park is quite nice if you like to sit back and relax. Has lots of stuff for children,

Very classic KOA. If you have kids, this is your place an amazing variety of activies. We saw putt putt, football, shuffleboard, and the list goes on. I can't speak to the laundry or bathrooms as we did not use them. My concerns were that the water pressure was very low so much so that we filled our tanks and used our water pump. The site did require a good bit of leveling.

Kelvin and Mike were very helpful when we had some issues with the sewer connection. But, we received that help because we flagged them down as they were doing other jobs. We could never reach the office by calling. The campground itself is old and tired looking. Whoever owns it should invest in improvements! Not a “holiday” at all!!!

We had a wonderful time at Renfro Valley. The staff was friendly, our tent site was spacious, the activities were fun, the pool and bathroom were clean, lots to keep us entertained and smiling throughout our stay!

Shared water hookup with site next to us. A large fifth wheel. Almost no water pressure on our side. Not an impressive campground considering the price. Needs updating.

Might be the best small KOA we've stayed at. Very friendly folks.Great hiking trails on the top of the moutain . Something to do every night . THE best site i've had, quiet, shaded n peaceful . Mostly ol folks like us , but always nice to see young familys.
