Nice campground but the lots are small and the one I was on had a lot of roots sticking up making tripping hazards, other than that an excellent campground.

We called earlier in the day to book a site, only to find out the receptionist didn’t book us in. Our site was in the middle of an area the size of 3 football fields, no privacy and just awful

Friendly, clean and a great start to our Canadian camping experience (we’re from UK). Also peaceful (maybe as we’re out of season?) which allowed the chipmunks and squirrels to step up to entertain us.

The staff was awesome. Site was adequate. Very small and close together. F250/35’tt. Fire ring on the front of site too close to vehicle to have a fire. Not a revisit for us.

Staff are great. Nice size lots. Only thing missing is a heated pool. Very quiet and clean. Will go earlier in next season next year to make use of the beach

Bathrooms not clean, no accessible showers. Don’t agree with the $12 charge for adults and $6 for children on top if staying in same rv on same site.

Sites are too small. For example, I have LPG gas in my motor home and the neighbor’s fire pit was about 5’ away. Is that safe? The campground generally wasn’t kept up. The showers did not have proper shower heads- just a pipe that sprayed all over the place. The showers were too small and it made it difficult to shower and change etc. However, the hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Spacious and Peaceful, but a Few Misses Loved the wide open pull-thru spots—tons of room and super quiet. It was a great place to relax. Camp K9 could use some TLC, and the jump pad was sadly MIA during our stay. Still, the peaceful vibe made it a worthwhile stop.

We are pleased with friendly way we were greeted right from the phone call to reserve a spot...Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff ...we have stayed there a few times in the past several years and always consistent.

Was a great little spot, our first time visiting. The beach and water were great! The RC races were super fun too, our son had a blast!! We didn’t like that we were right beside our neighbour and when we sat outside we could smell their sewer connection. Also, the play ground area for the kids could use some updating, the kids said it was boring and the water in the splash pad was too cold :

Thank you Sonya again for hosting our event. Honestly the only thing I can suggest for improvement is the shower house needs an exhaust fan to evacuate moisture as well as odors.

I spend 1 weekend a summer at this KOA in Renfrew just for my 2 grandkids and to be honest it was very disappointing to arrive to find out the air filled jumping bag was no longer there . I must say the staff are just fantastic and very polite so that's a big plus .

The site we were on had unreliable power, frequently dropping below 100 volts. This caused the surge protector to repeatedly disconnect from the power source.

Dogs barking, loud music from campers, one installed their portable potty on part of our site. Staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean. Our site by the lake was beautiful. Too noisy and too much tolerance from staff anout noise.

Stayed October 11, 2025. Passing through Ottawa stayed a this lovely KOA. Didn't have a reservation. Friendly checkin experience. Offered a pull through site. Quite night. Dog and pet friendly. Enjoyable!
