We stay here every opportunity we get. 10 plus times. We love the easy going staff, the peaceful quite area, the lake is a major plus.

It was wonderful staying in a Cabin for us and our dogs. Clean (cabin and public bathrooms/showers), spacious and affordable - i would definitely recommend; and will be renting one of these "cottages" again. Also, the staff was absolutely delightful! Sonja, Ta and Hannah made the stay so much better!

Great place to stay on my journey from Ontario to Nova Scotia. Love that the cabins were pet friendly and had a fridge with a freezer so I didn't have to repurchase ice for my cooler. The location was also quiet and tucked away with lots of trees, and the cabins are across from a water feature/pond. Absolutely coming back some day on my next adventure!

We popped in for the night on the way through. We arrived late and they accomadated us. I really appreciated the little heater and mini fridge in the little cabin.

Great experience! My first time back at a KOA since I was a kid. My family really enjoyed it, as well as all the activities to keep them occupied. Thanks Renfrew KOA we will definitely be coming back

The staff - friendly, accommodating. Lots to keep kids busy. Body of water advertised had a sandy beach area but is pond and has leeches. Our group of 5 kids had one each time they came out. Sites are surrounded by sand - messy and mud pit if it rains. Missed having pool and jump pillow. KOA seemed little run down compared to other KOAs. Missed having pool & jump pillow. Will not stay again.

We have been coming to renfrews koa for a few years now, we rent a kabin for weekends and sometimes a week. We really enjoyed the facilities, clean, friendly staff. The lake is a bonus and boat rentals. We have been to 6 different KOAs and they all have their charm. Renfrews KOA is by far the most affordable, and I nice place to stay and relax

I do wish we could request our cabin site number before arrival. It's hard if you want to book with another family, you may not be beside each other. Also, a pool would be a great addition!!

We love the Renfrew KOA! The mini golf course had a recent face-lift and looks great! It is always such a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere at the campground.

We had a great stay here, everyone was so friendly and polite. The beach was an added bonus as most campsites have a pool. The only thing which was not a huge deal, the playground could use some renovations, splash pad just has a few small buckets that spill and the bouncy pillow that is advertised is not there (maybe it broke) however I know KOA website is generalized and not property specific.

The cabin area was nice. The washrooms were clean. Kids enjoyed mini putting. They were disappointed nothing Canada Day happened. Waterfront was nice enough. You pay for what you get here.

I rented a cabin $275. For 3 days. The cabin was filthy, no toilet, no place to sit except the bed, no coffee maker or toaster, no running water, no table to sit at and filthy windows that couldn’t open. I think for the price it’s unacceptable. I would recommend at least a coffee pot a toaster and a small microwave or hot plate. Also let people know that there is running water in the trees nea

Super friendly staff. They gave me the perfect set up for my needs as I came in on a rainy day on my motorcycle and made sure I could be warm and dry out for a goodnight sleep. Had a place to get my clothes clean and dry and a nice hot cup of coffee to get going for the next day of riding. The perfect way to go!!! So appreciated it so much. Thanks Crystal!

Stayed in a cabin. We enjoyed everything very much. My only complaint is that despite buying three portions of wood we ran out, and there was no way to purchase more because the store was already closed. Perhaps a station outside the store to buy wood after hours? We will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, nice cabin, very little privacy and very close to neighbours. You hear all their conversations and listen to their radio. Small lake and beach, kids enjoyed fishing. The place feels like a seasonal campground with trailers permanently set up. Not at all what I was expecting when going.

3rd year we have stayed here. We love it. Just noticed that people brought in their own wood against the rules kinda disheartening since I paid about 100 for mine. But other then that we will always come back here.

Bright spots: wonderful beach, polar plunge friends try out the cold splash pad dunks!, beautiful trees, shrubs, & flowers all around the park & very well maintained. Great staff. Needs work: Bathroom needs a refresh, Cabins were dusty sandy HOT & smelled like an old library but with fans this was easily aired out 38 degrees would have been cooler in a tent@ nite. Wood bundles on the small side

Location is conveniently close to the highway. While there is a playground, jump pad and miniputt to keep kids busy it is outdated and in need of TLC. We stayed in a cabin for a one night stay. The cabins have a strong closed in cabin smell. They are in need of good sweeping or vacuuming from ceiling down. Lots of dust bunnies, cob webs and spiders. Ok for one night but not as extended vacation

Our stay was absolutely memorable. Our 6byear old son learned to ride his bike there! And spent many hours with his new friends biking around the grounds. We met some amazing people who became part of our camp family for the week. Great place for kids and families with pets. We already booked to go back next year. Stayed October 11, 2025. Passing through Ottawa stayed a this lovely KOA. Didn't have a reservation. Friendly checkin experience. Offered a pull through site. Quite night. Dog and pet friendly. Enjoyable!
