Nice quiet place to stay. Lots of activities for the kids. Lots of friendly staff. The campsites are nice and big and well maintained

This camping is noisy on weekend. Also on Sunday night the electrical voltage was at 101 instread of (105-120). Could not use AC..Turned my fridge to gaz not to damage it.. But reception is frendly.

Bouncing pad lacked air pressure and was unusable. Mini putt is old and falling apart. No basketball hoop. We were not informed that firewood was only delivered at 5:00pm, with no pickup option, we couldn’t get wood to cook during the day. Young staffers were not engaging, they did their job, but were not forthcoming with assistance or information unless specifically asked. We will still return.

Location is conveniently close to the highway. While there is a playground, jump pad and miniputt to keep kids busy it is outdated and in need of TLC. We stayed in a cabin for a one night stay. The cabins have a strong closed in cabin smell. They are in need of good sweeping or vacuuming from ceiling down. Lots of dust bunnies, cob webs and spiders. Ok for one night but not as extended vacation

It wasn’t the typical KOA experience. The “campsite” was essentially in the middle of a field. Our fire pit was about 20-30feet back from our trailer and literally in the middle of the wide open field. The “beach” was a pond. The inflatable mat had holes in it, VB net was broke and there was no basketball net on the court. Fine for an overnight rest place but not the usual KOA experience

The area is beautiful! Wonderful beach. All the amenities and the public washrooms were clean. Park maintenance was always around cleaning and keeping things neat. Perfect place if you have kids!!

You have children working, there needs to be adults. The place was disgusting, mold on showers, sinks the dirt everywhere disgusting. Was not impressed. Needs a lot of updates. Adults working, would be a start. Cleaning tasks need to be placed, just gross.

Very accommodating just drove up on a weekend and got a site very friendly people womens showers needed some maintenance but nice and clean

After an auspicious start with an unleashed dog, our 4 night stay was idyllic. Enjoyed walking the extensive grounds, just taking in the beauty. Driving range was nice feature. We will be back!

The staff were friendly. The camp ground was run down. Dirty washrooms, Mini putt needed some serious repairs, the bouncy mattress had no bounce, there were no activities for the kids, we were not given the campground we had reserved, which we had done 5 months in advance. I would not return or recommend. We had been going to the Cardinal KOA for 4 yrs and really enjoyed are experience there!

First Time staying at a KOA campground and it was a very good experience. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and the campground was very clean and there was lots of things to do. We will definitely be going back again.

We had a very nice time. We enjoyed watching all the children playing on the beach and in the water with their various water floaters. Next time we visit ojr cousins in Renfrew we will definitely stay here.

The showers weren't clean. There was not enough privacy because of small doors. To do the laundry was very expensive because the dryer didn't work well.

Very pleasant, quiet and friendly courteous staff on-site. The only concern would be the cleanliness and functionality of the second washroom facility (not the store location) as these washrooms were overflooding and without paper during our stay. The dog hair left along side the walking roads after brushing and not put into garbage.

Overall a good stay. The breaker to our friend’s site (#70) tripped a number of times and had to be reset. Hopefully it will be replaced to alleviate this issue in the future. Thanks!

I arrived late, passing the road to the campground. The map left for me didn't have the site marked on it. Ooops :) Thankfully, two night attendants making their rounds came along and were able to look up where I was supposed to be and direct me, as well as guiding me into the spot. Had a restful evening campfire. Wish I could stay longer.

The staff is nice when checking in. However, the campground is mostly for seasonal use with very few transient sites available. All of the shaded sites are taken by the lake. The restrooms are some of the worst I've ever seen camping, especially at a KOA. Dirty, damaged items throughout the room that you can tell have been that way for awhile. I just can't recommend this campground, sorry.

Given a site beside a large group who were there to party. Why does KOA surround campers who are staying one night beside a large group of campers who are clearly there to party? All we wanted to do was to relax and get a good nights sleep before heading out in the morning. Nope! This group broke every rule. The loud music started at 10 pm. The park is lovely to look at but is not quiet.

Our stay was absolutely memorable. Our 6byear old son learned to ride his bike there! And spent many hours with his new friends biking around the grounds. We met some amazing people who became part of our camp family for the week. Great place for kids and families with pets. We already booked to go back next year. Great campsite, with a bunch of stuff to do. Lake is nice but small with a beach. I would definitely return.

Stayed October 11, 2025. Passing through Ottawa stayed a this lovely KOA. Didn't have a reservation. Friendly checkin experience. Offered a pull through site. Quite night. Dog and pet friendly. Enjoyable!
