Booked Labor Day weekend for our first visit. Got a serviced waterfront site. Ended up being right beside the beach. Was great for my 5 and 2 year old. Enjoyed all the Halloween Weekend activities with the kids.

The sites are small and narrow. Once our 25 foot trailer was on site we had to park our truck across the front on the site. We couldn’t have a fire due to the location of the fire pit and had to back out across the site behind us upon departure as we couldn’t drive out due to the location of a tree and the fire pit at the front. The dog walking trail was great!

Park is very clean and well-cared however the lake is more like a pond, none of us really wanted to swim in it. A pool, in this case, would be beneficial.

The park, jump pad, mini putt, RC racetrack, and splash pad were all broken/ old/ unsafe. The volleyball and basketball nets were not up or functional. Park is really run down. They did put on nice activities for the Halloween weekend which was really fun.

Very enjoyable stay, extremely reasonably priced and awesome staff. My only negative comment would be that we prefer a pool over a lake especially with the water conditions and beach closures throughout Ontario this summer.

The staff was very sincere and accommodating. We had a broken down rv. They made room and extra time for us to stay. They even aloud us to leave our rv there, when we couldn't get it fixed for a week. Thank you so much for your help!

Friendly staff, nice cabin, very little privacy and very close to neighbours. You hear all their conversations and listen to their radio. Small lake and beach, kids enjoyed fishing. The place feels like a seasonal campground with trailers permanently set up. Not at all what I was expecting when going.

Our stay was fine. Washrooms are dated. Campsite was extremely small. Hydro and water connections for our site were not easily located as they were behind a wooden unit on another site kitty corner to our site. When we arrived, either the previous campers or someone nearby had been allowing their dog to use the site to do its business and was never cleaned up.

Very nice site. Enjoyed driving range. Although there were some kids who kept trying to come on our site to fish. As well as screaming at eachother. Not very peaceful. But had a good time

3rd year we have stayed here. We love it. Just noticed that people brought in their own wood against the rules kinda disheartening since I paid about 100 for mine. But other then that we will always come back here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sites are a little small but adequate. Very quiet at night. The children’s playground was a delight but in general could use some TLC. The price for a site was high in comparison to some other campgrounds we have stayed. Lots of seasonal campers.

This is a really great campground. The lake has a swimming area great for kids and adults. There is a small beach to sit and relax as well as a private beach area for dogs. This KOA, the only we have found in our traveled in Canada really does have WIFI. We wish we had booked our stay longer. Very relaxing and friendly.

The reason we stay at KOA Renfrew is because there are activities for our grandsons. I do believe, though, that money needs to be invested to repair or enhance what is there. Perhaps, KOA could apply for a grant to hire a student who could organize some activities for the children. Also I think someone should check the games room a lot during the day to ensure that stuff gets picked up.

Renfrew KOA is one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve been to. Beautifully set up. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

The place is nice and has events throughout the week but if you have kids and or want a good night sleep then this place is the worse for it as the camp ground doesn't enforce quiet hours or have anyone patrolling at night. When I was staying with my family there was a family reunion going on and they were loud and playing music up until 2 am and there was underage drinking going as well.

2 night stay. Enjoyed mini golf, bouncy, play park, splash pad, driving range and beach. Not jazzed that we were informed that there were a lot of leaches in water and paddle boat was broken.

Very cute camp site, very small but oh so friendly :) My kid's made friends and we hadn't even parked the camper yet. Definitely a good place to getaway with kids !

Bright spots: wonderful beach, polar plunge friends try out the cold splash pad dunks!, beautiful trees, shrubs, & flowers all around the park & very well maintained. Great staff. Needs work: Bathroom needs a refresh, Cabins were dusty sandy HOT & smelled like an old library but with fans this was easily aired out 38 degrees would have been cooler in a tent@ nite. Wood bundles on the small side

Stayed October 11, 2025. Passing through Ottawa stayed a this lovely KOA. Didn't have a reservation. Friendly checkin experience. Offered a pull through site. Quite night. Dog and pet friendly. Enjoyable!
