Wow! I picked your campground blind. As in never been there, didn't even know Renfrew had a KOA. I'm not sure what impressed us the most. There were just too many O.M.G. moments. From the COMPLETE welcoming, you are safe here, to staff that went out of their way to warn of us an impending storm, spotless site and amenities and then the awe inspiring pines. Thank you. Bathroom and shower facilities are in obvious need of help, renovation, and upgrades. Campsite was fine, met the needs for an overnight. Staff was very kind and helpful.

We stayed early in the season so it was nice and quiet. We had a nice stay - close to town which is convenient. Looking forward to our next stay

Park is very clean. The staff, Sophie and the young man looking after the grounds were very pleasant to deal with.

Lovely, quiet park, but limited internet access and limited 50/30amp sites. We agreed to take a 30 amp site, and within 15 minutes blew the circuit breaker. They then informed us that a 50/30amp site as available, and we moved. The next day, they place new camper in our prior site, and they reported having NO electricity. The office staff never reported the outage and had it fixed.

Because of the number of permanent and semi-permanent residents most short-termed are placed in a very large open field. The campground is very quiet and peaceful.

We had such a lovely stay. The people we met, both staff and other campers were very friendly. Everything was clean and well organized. The kids area, mini putt etc was fun but needs some maintenance. Would stay again.

Our stay was pleasant however hydro and washrooms were shut down sunday moring making it rather difficult for check out. It was posted on the bathroom doors that it would be shut down but no warning during check in or other mention of it. I wish they would fix and update the bonce pad and Waterpark as they are broken and need updating.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The owner even helped with guiding me into my site. While it’s early in the season, they were well groomed sites, and there were quite a few activities for campers. The lake and sunsets are terrific. Great place to stop or stay and it’s close to Ottawa for day trips. We enjoyed our stay

I had a blast to be able to get out of the town and Away in nature with my daughter for the first time forever was amazing it was a little much having a lot of children next door a little loud but it is to be expected the fire pit that is on this side is very dangerous due to the fact that it is on an incline the office is aware will be planning more trips to come back with my family

Lot 102 was perfect for us, so much that we booked again for May 2025. Being close to the hub of everything was ideal for us. Also being within a 10 min drive to Renfrew, Walmart & Canadian Tire, is nice when you just have to buy a new TV for your RV. There were a couple large dogs that barked a lot near our site, but that’s not a fault of the campground. We definitely like this park!

This is a very nice, older campground. We were only there one night and the region experienced a terrifying thunderstorm with high winds, rain and sleet. It knocked the power out in the area. Unfortunately the water in the campground is dependent on an electric pump-so no electric, no water. The campground refunded our camping fee-what a nice gesture. We would definitely stay there again.

Not a large KOA, but staff were pleasant, and the place was fairly clean. Bathroom could use an update. Nice lake nearby.

Our stay was very nice, a lot for the kids to do and the special events for the long weekend were great. One small suggestion would be to add seating in the mini putt and around the play ground.

The WiFi don’t work and the dog near our site was always barking �����‍���

I am very sorry about the dog. I didn't see any notes in regard to that nor did my staff at the office have anyone come in to complain. Had that happen we would of addressed it immediately

It was a small inconvenience that the dryers in the laundry didn't function. But � we were allowed to hang up some clothes lines between the trees.

Arrived after 8pm and a lovely lady told us what RV spot to pull into and asked us to just pay for the night in the morning. In the morning we went to the office to pay and a different employee was there. We were charged and extra $20 for a patio RV site and when we said we were told to park there she just said nothing. So if you don’t want to be over charged don’t arrive after 8 pm.

Super friendly staff. They gave me the perfect set up for my needs as I came in on a rainy day on my motorcycle and made sure I could be warm and dry out for a goodnight sleep. Had a place to get my clothes clean and dry and a nice hot cup of coffee to get going for the next day of riding. The perfect way to go!!! So appreciated it so much. Thanks Crystal!

This place is excellent for a weekend getaway, or a summer stay. Excellent staff, they accommodate your every needs. Highly recommend
