We love the Renfrew KOA! The mini golf course had a recent face-lift and looks great! It is always such a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere at the campground.

Incredible staff, premises very well maintained. Many seasonals, but they were so welcoming as well. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lake.

We were on site 33. Overall experience very good; very friendly staff and the property is very clean. Appreciated the fact there were no mosquitoes but the flies were a pain (and I know we’re in the woods). It would be nice if the few huge pot holes were filled in, but during our stay it was dry so no puddles.

Very good Friendly staff, clean campground. We had a breakdown with our RV and they went out of their way to drive us to the repair place to pick up the part. Definitely would return and recommend this KOA

We had a great stay here, everyone was so friendly and polite. The beach was an added bonus as most campsites have a pool. The only thing which was not a huge deal, the playground could use some renovations, splash pad just has a few small buckets that spill and the bouncy pillow that is advertised is not there (maybe it broke) however I know KOA website is generalized and not property specific.

We had new transient spot in open field. Please plant some trees. Playground, mini put great. Water pad NS. Pond and rental boats a little dirty. Washrooms could use a little paint and spruce up. Staff were great and friendly!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at your location quite well groomed friendly staff was very hospitable in getting us a location /site for the night again we thank you so much yes I would recommend others to stay there

Staff was great, our lot was nice and clean. Unfortunately we chose this KOA because of the RC track but it was underwhelming. The cars weren’t operational- luckily we brought our own but the track was more of a bunch of random obstacles - not very RC car friendly. My kids were also bummed that there was no jumping pad even though that was also listed in the amenities.

The good things were friendly staff, clean facilities, plenty of activities. What made it bad was noisy neighbours loudly arguing near our campsite in the evening, constantly dropping the f-bomb. Another neigbour (or maybe the same one) was talking very loudly, dropping the f-bomb, until just after midnight. It was hard to sleep and I felt very sorry for the family with young children nearby.

If you're going to tent they say there's a tenting area yet you are still surrounded by trailers with their lights and generators loud. Our camp site ended up also being a brush dumping site so we didn't get much privacy. When booked I was given a picture of our lot with no lot number until we got there. Lot looks nothing like the picture no water front view. Store is expensive.

The wifi , even at the office, was not steady. At 7 in the morning both men’s toilets were clogged. No after hours contact number, I left a message on the only number I could find. The owners need to realize that running a campground is a 24 hour job. KOA are not inexpensive, this one did not meet the expected standard as seen in other KOA facilities. Unacceptable!!

Staff are very friendly and efficient. Campground is super clean. Check in was easy. Shout out to Ethan and Hunter for their smiles and helping with the fire wood. Definitely will book here again.

The cabin area was nice. The washrooms were clean. Kids enjoyed mini putting. They were disappointed nothing Canada Day happened. Waterfront was nice enough. You pay for what you get here.

We love this Campground! The staff are professional, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The grounds are very well kept and we have even made friends with a few of the seasonal campers!

I rented a cabin $275. For 3 days. The cabin was filthy, no toilet, no place to sit except the bed, no coffee maker or toaster, no running water, no table to sit at and filthy windows that couldn’t open. I think for the price it’s unacceptable. I would recommend at least a coffee pot a toaster and a small microwave or hot plate. Also let people know that there is running water in the trees nea

The staff were nice, the camp is kept tidy and overall it was ok. The only things were 1, The Mosquitos. We couldn't sit outside at night because they were just everywhere, even in the toilet and showers and 2. Most of the campers there look like permanent camps, so sitting enjoying the quiet only to have neighbors using power tools is off putting. Other than those everything else was fine

Stayed October 11, 2025. Passing through Ottawa stayed a this lovely KOA. Didn't have a reservation. Friendly checkin experience. Offered a pull through site. Quite night. Dog and pet friendly. Enjoyable!
