Very cool spot. Very clean and nice shower rooms. Laundry area was nice. Distance apart nicely to avoid annoying a neighbor. Lots to do! Will stay again!

The nice lady at the check in counter upgraded us to a waterfront slip that was still close to the showers. It was beautiful and only a few other campers on a Monday night. Fish weren't biting, but a very nice place to enjoy the scenery.

The drainage at the facilities needs some work because our firepit had standing water in it. Our gravel driveway also had standing water. We also watched the KOA staff drive through the grass in the site next to ours to cut across the park causing muddy tire tracks in the grass. I was looking forward to playing pickle ball, but 1 court didn't have a net and the other court had standing water in it

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We felt the staff was very friendly and welcoming to include having awesome events. We ate Thanksgiving dinner in the clubhouse which was very appreciative and put on by the staff as well as other events. Thank you to the staff here and we appreciate what you do. We will be back and highly recommend this location.

This was our second time staying at Port Lavaca/Matagorda Bay KOA and really enjoyed our time there. The staff our hard workers to ensure the the grounds and facilities are kept clean and in good condition. They have been very friendly and helpful with any questions or needs we may have had. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and was very impressed with the daily activities they provided.

Everything very clean, good Spots with lot of space. Private bathrooms and clean laundry. Many facilities to play with . We only had real bad weather and can not use all the nice stuff.

We love staying at the Port Lavaca KOA! There are always fun activities planned and the staff is very friendly friendly.

Unbelievable! Everyone was so sweet and courteous and they even upgraded our site for us so we got to be at the waterfront! The amenities were insane! If you can dream it up, they've got it. We didn't bring the kids this time but if we had they would have loved it. All the sites were very nice, level, and perfectly kept.

Check in was fast. The site was spacious, clean They do texts, and keep you updated on activities Pool felt great, Showers were very clean.

Our family stayed for two nights and we had a fantastic stay at Port Lavaca KOA. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and hosted awesome Halloween festivities over the weekend that our kids loved. The heated pool and hot tub were a hit, and the games and amenities were wonderful. Clean spacious shower/restroom rooms and excellent laundry facilities. We had a great stay and highly recommend!

Beautiful site. Friendly staff. Very well kept and lots of things to do on site that some others don’t have. I was very pleased from arrival to departure.

Very nice campground. Clean and friendly. Only issue is if you have a motor home coming in at the gate is a call button to get in. It doesn’t have a call box both high and low, so if you drive a motor home you have to get out and walk to call button. Not very convenient or user friendly.

Clean, quiet lovely spot "on the Bay". Staff friendly, lots of fun activities for kids. Spots level, some shade from trees, swimming pool nice.

First time staying there. It was such a peaceful place. Had lots of things to do, horseshoes, ping pong, arcade room, splash pad for the kiddos and pool. Also a hot tub for the grown ups. But my favorite was the fishing pier.

We stayed in the waterfront rv site. There was plenty of outdoor seating and a fire ring. Campground has seating throughout. Lots of activities for kids. Pool was a nice temperature. Outdoor movie on Saturday night. Has its own fishing pier and boat dock for smaller boats . Really enjoyed the stay .

We were in Site# 300. The check in was at 1pm and Check out is at 11am. We had Full hook- up with a gravel/pull-through. We travel towing a 14 foot trailer and were able to fit both in our pull through site along with my jeep. The site was easy to level. Our site was not shaded and was without trees. This was a larger sized lot with our neighbors not too close. (The best lot with tons of shade is site #233). Our lot came with a concrete patio with table & 4 chairs, two Adirondack chairs, and fire ring. There is free WiFi. They do not offer Cable TV. They have a community Outdoor grill. They also have a community fire pit. They sell wood for $8 a bundle. They pickup your garbage at your site daily. You are allowed to ride personal golf carts. They also allow you to rent golf carts. There is really not a need to have a Golf cart because it is a smaller campground. They do have a heated swimming pool and hot tub. They do have kayaks/paddle boards/pedal bikes for rent. There is a Playground. They also offer shuffleboard, basketball sport court, horseshoe, and volleyball courts. They have a great general store. There is a separate Activity Center for kids. There is a Game room for kids. There is a snack bar on site that offers pizza and wings. The streets are gravel so not great for bikes. They have cabins for rent and a Yurt. They have one shower house. The shower house has individual bathrooms with your own sink, shower, toilet. These are kept clean. There is a laundry facility. It is a cash only facility, but they have a change machine ($1 & $5 bills only). There are approximately 3 washers and 6 dryers. It is approximately $2.75 to wash and $2 to dry a load. They have a small fenced in dog park. Flies were a major issue and bug spray was definitely needed. There were no trails to hike in the campground.

Great people here, running a great KOA. Lots of amenities, nice sites, and quiet! Funny, Google thinks this is a hotel, hence the zero stars for “Rooms”. Pickleball courts are a nice touch - although they needed a bit of cleaning.
