This is BY FAR my favorite KOA! A site right on the bay with beautiful patio/furniture, getting texts of what fun activities are coming up next, trash picked up every morning at your site, and still a quiet location. We have stayed here for two weeks twice and still hate to leave. There are plenty of kids activities, fishing/kayaking, pool and hot Tub. Complimentary weekend coffee & muffins.

Nice park. Stayed on a waterfront site. Took our grandsons (7 and 5) and they loved it. Especially the splash pad, pool, fishing pier and some Halloween activities. Staff was great.

This place was a big surprise. It was not easy to get to but it was well worth the effort. Staff was great and we hit it on Halloween so it was very busy for the kids.

Fun activities in the club house. Great lady working the grocery store and she also made a great pizza. The lady doing the activity was so fun. I wish the clubhouse stayed open later. Example to watch a game.

Staff was very accommodating and interested in making our stay as good as could be. Spaces are clean and everything works. The fishing pier is in great shape and all the lights work. Lots of weekend activities for the kids

This KOA should be the standard by which all other KOA Holidays are measured! Beautiful camp sites, spotless bathrooms and laundry, and a staff that goes above and beyond to ensure your visit is a memorable experience. We found two things that would be nice to see. The first would be a bigger store with more items and two, the dryers in the laundry room. It would be nice to buy time by quarters.

Have enjoyed both of our stays. The staff have been great both times. Very friendly and helpful. Love the fishing pier and the other amenities. Have already booked a third trip there for next March.

We had a wonderful time while there! Our granddaughters had so much fun with the coloring time, the scavenger hunt (they really enjoyed that!), the magnet painting (we were surprised those weren't free to do), and the foam (bubble) party (bubble machine(s) would also be nice). Great place to bring kids on weekends with activities geared just for them, a pool, splash pad, and playground! This KOA is in the middle of farmland which makes the park dark, quiet and peaceful at night. Ramp to launch boats and a fishing pier with slips. Being remote, the closest regular grocery store is about 15 miles away in Port Lavaca so stock up before arrival. Beer is sold in the store.

Stayed on site 136. Enjoyed the view and the surrounding area. Pool was wonderful; pizza was very good too for campground-fare. Only issue was the weak WiFi; couldn’t connect. LTE from Verizon was strong enough to stream what we wanted tho. Staff very energetic and polite. Will return

The hosts were completely professional and friendly. I ordered a pizza which was on time and very good. The place is beautiful with your own dock to fish on Montagordo bay. HOWEVER the rating is so low because the WIFI is horrible. I enjoy my YouTube and other streaming channels. This KOA has the worst wifi of any of the 8 other RV campsites I have visited.

Great people here, running a great KOA. Lots of amenities, nice sites, and quiet! Funny, Google thinks this is a hotel, hence the zero stars for “Rooms”. Pickleball courts are a nice touch - although they needed a bit of cleaning.

Decent spot for a stop over we were only here for the night, but bathrooms are clean and fresh and laundry. Lots of things to do. The pizza and the wings were super easy and affordable. Definitely not top-notch gourmet cuisine but very good to not have to cook. We were in the very first site as you come in and they were a lot of ant nests so we had to watch the dog pretty carefully.

What a wonderfully quiet bayfront KoA. Property is well maintained and has a ton of amenities. We were there shouting a weekday so was very quiet and restful. Staff is helpful and very kind. Showers are clean and plenty of hot water. If we lived anywhere nearby we'd make this a repeat destination.
