Cabin was hot and we had some bugs and ants in cabin bedroom had a bad smell thinking it was A/C like a mold smell.. Other then that it is a very nice place to stay, We were here last year and stayed in RV rented by Campsite. We decided to upgrade due to RV was also hot and had a septic issue. Hopefully we will come back after we purchase an RV., TY!

awesome place and i recommend anyone working out at Formosa look into staying here. it 10 minutes away with great amenities and fishing.

I have stayed in all the cabins and can say they are all well-kept and very clean every time i visit. great place to fish on the pier.

This was an awesome stay! The staff was friendly, our room was very clean and comfortable and the grounds were free of trash. It was one of the cleanest campgrounds we have stayed in!!!

family fun from a 3 year old to a 68 year old = making wonderful memories- nice and relaxing.. Always pleasant campers there and the people that work there are always over the top awesome. The remember you, treat you special, honest and always there to make your stay the best! We caught some crabs which made my grand children excited.

We went the first weekend in June and it wasn’t crowded. That made it almost perfect. Staff were very nice. Place was very clean.

Very helpful staff and an out of the way retreat with 20 minute drives to town. Stayed in May and would just say to be prepared for the mosquitos... we bought stock in mosquito spray after this trip.

Was swapped cabins without notification. We rented a cabin with a partial kitchen to be able to cook meals indoors and was switched to a cabin without a kitchen.

Nice place. My family feel safe in this location. Although the sign in the main road is small that you can easily miss it but aside from that. Very nice place to be in. Looking forward to be back here with our pets next time.

Our first time here and it was great. Some of the playground area needs an upgrade (equipment broken, bended, dirty). Other than that, we had a great time. I would suggest making some lifejackets available near the pier... the thought of my 3yo falling made me very scared.

Had a wonderful time as always, only thing I would recommend is more food items in Store like breads, lunch meat ,and 12 packs of beers some of the items you forget or run out of.alway fun staying there really enjoy the yurt tents ..wish y'all would get more of those as well family want to come but they wanna stay in one of those also.

Really nice Koa. We rented both the Yurt and a beautiful cabin. The Yurt is a fun experience, we were very comfortable. The cabin was beautiful, clean, excellent. The pool is heated and kept at a super nice temperature, enjoyed the hot tub too.

We stayed in the yurt tent overlooking the Bay and it was beautiful! The pool was great, bathrooms/showers awesome. We were only there one night so didn’t utilize the other amenities, but they seemed great. Staff was very friendly

Some of the most friendly staff that we've had the pleasure of dealing with. Clubhouse was small but very functional and clean. The camp "store" was adequate. The evening events for kids (and for the Adults on Friday) were very nice. The amenities were good. Plenty to do. Only complaint is getting into the place when no one answers the call button on the entrance gate! lol

I wanted a quiet and safe place for my 4 kids for spring break and this place was excellent. We stayed at a cabin that was near the office, pool, and the main area. My kids and I had a great time and I was not worried able them wondering off because this place is safe and private

Stayed in one of the cabins. Very comfortable and could cook as we liked. We ate at a couple of nice restaurants in Port Lavaca. Good fishing in the bay.

Our stay included the wonderful winter weather last week, but the stay was still great. The staff, the cabins and activities were great. I would definitely recommend this KOA and will definitely be back.

Once cabin warmed up it was great. Full stove to cook Christmas dinner & room for everyone. Great Holiday & we will meet up there again.

Great place on the bay. The kids played all day. Fished too. #2 cabin was just right for watching the kids and the accommodations were clean and very nice.

The grounds are well kept and beautiful, staff was great, activities were great, clean bathrooms. Love the fishing pier, nice campsite wood and ice delivery. Well appointed store. A+ KOA campground! We can’t wait to come back!!!

We had a mini family reunion at this KOA site and there was plenty for both adults and children to do all day. Great place to stay.

Great people here, running a great KOA. Lots of amenities, nice sites, and quiet! Funny, Google thinks this is a hotel, hence the zero stars for “Rooms”. Pickleball courts are a nice touch - although they needed a bit of cleaning.

Decent spot for a stop over we were only here for the night, but bathrooms are clean and fresh and laundry. Lots of things to do. The pizza and the wings were super easy and affordable. Definitely not top-notch gourmet cuisine but very good to not have to cook. We were in the very first site as you come in and they were a lot of ant nests so we had to watch the dog pretty carefully.

What a wonderfully quiet bayfront KoA. Property is well maintained and has a ton of amenities. We were there shouting a weekday so was very quiet and restful. Staff is helpful and very kind. Showers are clean and plenty of hot water. If we lived anywhere nearby we'd make this a repeat destination.
