Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They have very nice coffee shop, local wines and beer, and they have awesome pizza and wings. Beautiful shaded lots. Very nice pool. We always stay a couple of nights when passing by on our trips to GA or FL.

We stayed only one night but what a great stay! Love the paw pen site that we were on. The pizza and wings were tasty and the staff was friendly and so helpful! We will return… outstanding KOA! Thank you!

We only stayed one night, but they accommodated our request for a longer site, as we wanted to stay hitched to our truck. The front desk person and person who took us to our site were both helpful and friendly. We would def stay here again.

I stayed at koa all the way as i drove from Florida to Massachusetts and your place was the most excepting and super kind folks , koa means your in for a great great stay , you all have the best best of them all and we loved them all mostly because you offer cable direct tv , KOA IS NUMBER ONE !

This is a GREAT KOA campground. Extremely friendly staff and what other campground can you sit at a wine and beer bar and order a pizza and wings. Not just a pizza but a breakfast pizza and they deliver to your campsite. All I can say is WOW!

We were only there from about 7:00 pm until 8:00 am but the staff were extremely friendly and as nice as could be. They walked my bags of ice out to my RV and showed us exactly were our spot was for the night. Highly recommend

We had booked our stay in one of the cabins months ago. We paid and received our reservation confirmation. Then the day before we were to start our stay I re-checked our stay on the app. They had changed our reservation dates with our telling us. When we called we were told that they had needed our cabin for another group. That we were out of luck, why couldn't we just stay the new dates they set.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When you changed your reservation, the lodge was not available for the subsequent day. You made the reservation for the lodge and then the cabin to be able to stay for your duration. We were completely full and it was out of our control. Happy travels Jennifer ~

We only had a time for an overnight while traveling. The campground is well kept and staff were great! We stayed in a cabin and when we arrived we were checked in quickly and escorted to the cabin. It was great to have the lights and AC on (july). We also ordered pizza from the KOA Hunts Brothers pizza. It made it so easy to enjoy hanging out together and relaxing.

Made an impromptu trip to get away for the weekend. The kids had a blast between the pool, mining, exploring the trails and park, and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and all amenities were clean and in great condition. We really enjoyed our weekend get away.

Very well kept campground. Perfect location. Not far off the main road for travelers but far enough that road noise is not intrusive. The wine/coffee bar gives it a nice vibe for relaxing.

This was our second stay at the Yemassee KOA, and it was just as great as the first! The campground is always clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel right at home. One of our favorite parts is the on-site cafe. The pizza is delicious, they have beer on tap from local breweries, and the lattes are amazin

The staff here is amazing. The pool is pretty and our site was level and clean. Also the pizza, wine and coffee bar is a really nice touch. Great wifi. We stay here in our 42 ft motorhome with tow everytime we go thru South Carolina

Staff were helpful, friendly. Danny made sure I was happy with how hubby parked the RV before he left us!! Enjoyed the coffee/wine bar. Deluxe patio site 52 was very nice. Too bad we were only there one night.

The grounds of this KOA are well taken care of. I have never seen any one spray and clean the lights and connectors. For you to hook up. The camp is off I-95 so it’s nice for those that need a stop over for a night or two. Thank you Nancy for your information of Point South KOA.

Only 1 night, but the cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The cafe was small and cozy. The playground was just right for my 2 grandchildren. For sure will stay there again.

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed at the campground. It is lovely. Well maintained. Bathrooms are always clean. Staff is exceptional. A shout out to Dan and Danny both. Thank you for a lovely visit.

I stayed here a long time ago as a little girl, back in maybe 2004ish? Recently I visited again with my own family 🥹 it's a clean safe area I don't know how much it's changed but I was good friends with the owners son ( can't remember his name ) but they were such a kind Godly family. I lived here for about a year with my mother in an RV the people were wonderful and the park had a great vibe. Visiting felt nostalgic, still seems very clean and friendly coming back years later as an adult was very nostalgic not sure if it's the same owners but I would trust them with my life they are good people and 100 percent care about the people who stay in their park. it's more comforting because the people that did use to own the park lived right there in the same lot so any issue was always handled promptly like I said it's been over 15 years since I used to live there but revisiting it still had a very safe feeling the area is very quiet. You have everything you need. I would 100% recommend staying here if you're on a trip or even need a little bit of a permanent residence

Our favorite KOA! The wi fi and streaming work well, which can be hard to find at some campgrounds! The staff is outstanding! The wine bar and pizza are awesome! The grounds are well kept!
