We have been staying at Point South KOA for about 10 years on our 2-3 trips a year on our way south to Florida. The campground is wonderful, clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. My husband bought a dump truck in Florida this trip and we stayed at Point South on our way north this time and the staff was very accommodating in finding us a place to park the truck overnight. Thank you.

The campground is lovely and well maintained. The restroom shower did smell moldy though and could use a little refresh or extra cleaning. Also, it's very confusing to drive through due to the design of the layouts but well spaced and clean. Nancy at the check in desk was very friendly and nice to chat with when we came in for drinks.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Jocie, we will check the showers to find out what you are referring to with the smell. Staff goes in every two hours along with deep cleaning daily. We do draw on your map how to exit and the escort to your site reminds the driver. Staff is out readying to open by 7:30 if you need assistance. Jenn~

We were only passing through and stoped for the night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They even offered to deliver pizza to our RV if we didn’t want to come up to the office. The Kampground was very clean and very quiet! We were very pleased and would recommend the Kampground to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

Loved the pizza and wings that were available. And delivery too. We also used the pool and bathhouse that were very clean and nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We’ll be back

The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. The KOA was well kept and super clean. It was an amazing place to vacation and our children had the time of their lives. We will be coming back.

Only stayed one night traveling to NE very accommodating nice park clean pull thru site was very nice. Purchased pizza which was very good thin crust and delivered to our campsite. Would recommend

We had a wonderful experience loved talking to owner Bill about his knowledge of the history of the area. We came in during a storm and ordered pizza and they were kind enough to deliver it to us so we could settle in , beautiful cabin very clean and had all the amenities there was a book in the room with information about the area and things to do. We will definitely be back

From the moment we arrived they treated us like family!!! We were escorted to our site, offered to help or get anything we needed after our long drive on I-95. Shortly after bad storms set an alert for flash flooding, we were a bit nervous being in the lowest point in the area w/ river running near by. We monitored NOAA reports and the staff ranger assured us they were watching too! So welcoming!

I loved the park and the people. Everyone was helpful and professional. The park was clean and beautiful. I stayed in site 53 - the one with the paw pen! It was so convenient and clean. I definitely will stay there again and recommend the campground to others!

A good location. Keep up the improvements. Can tell you’re fixing the place up. Pool deck and sites needed cleared off when we were there

Beautiful KOA, lots of trees, great play area for kids and dogs have there own play area. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We followed as they walked to our spot at 10pm. We will be back for a longer stay.

Love the convenience to the interstate, love the tasty pizza and the craft beer. A very relaxing break from traveling . The landscaping has impacted the beauty of the grounds. This place has grown nicely over the years

Clean, spacious sites. Friendly staff. So convenient to I 95! Beer and wine bar after 430pm, coffee bar in the morning after 8. Pizza and wings were very popular with campers tho we passed. Another good campground on our repetitive route n/s.

We only stayed one night but we had a great stay. People are very friendly and helpful getting you settled. They have a cute little bar/restaurant. Just wings and pizza and beer and wine but it was very good. We enjoyed a nice glass of local beer and Biltmore winery Sauvignon Blanc The spaces were roomy and it was a nice shady campground. Quiet , it has a pool. It’s a small campground. Peaceful

This was my second time at this campground and it has changed a good deal since my first visit. The people will kill you with their kindness and southern hospitality. I was very impressed with the staff and the facilities they maintained. The people were friendly and the facilities were immaculate, what more can you you say? This is a great campground and I strongly suggest anybody in the area

We were travelling to points South and stopped here for one night. The sights are relatively level and not too close together. We really enjoyed the pizza shop with bar and wine. We'll make this one of our regular stops when we're in the area.

Cabin was very nice. Clean and loved linens were provided along with coffee for in the morning ( it’s the one thing I always forget to pack). Love staying in the cabins with the furbabies. Staff was super friendly.

Great spot - great little bar and excellent Pizza and Wings Becky, Nancy and Danny were over the top friendly!! Definitely will make it a stop on our way back to Dlorida anytime we r on the east coast

I stayed here a long time ago as a little girl, back in maybe 2004ish? Recently I visited again with my own family 🥹 it's a clean safe area I don't know how much it's changed but I was good friends with the owners son ( can't remember his name ) but they were such a kind Godly family. I lived here for about a year with my mother in an RV the people were wonderful and the park had a great vibe. Visiting felt nostalgic, still seems very clean and friendly coming back years later as an adult was very nostalgic not sure if it's the same owners but I would trust them with my life they are good people and 100 percent care about the people who stay in their park. it's more comforting because the people that did use to own the park lived right there in the same lot so any issue was always handled promptly like I said it's been over 15 years since I used to live there but revisiting it still had a very safe feeling the area is very quiet. You have everything you need. I would 100% recommend staying here if you're on a trip or even need a little bit of a permanent residence

Our favorite KOA! The wi fi and streaming work well, which can be hard to find at some campgrounds! The staff is outstanding! The wine bar and pizza are awesome! The grounds are well kept!
