This was my 4th consecutive year staying in a cabin at the KOA campground in mid-October, as I visit the area this time every year for a fishing trip. Hosts were communicative & gracious as usual. All the pertinent details about my stay were provided to me ahead of time, as well as during my stay. I enjoy the close proximity to the river areas I fish. Looking forward to next year's stay.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin- the bed was very uncomfortable, the furnace was extremely loud, and the floors were very squeaky. No one slept well and we left early to get home. We were also told a map with our cabin number and door code would be available at the store to check-in, but they were not and we didn’t get a reply to our text message inquiring about it. We had to find help.

We really enjoyed our stay. Will most definitely be coming back in the spring and summer for family gatherings! The host was amazing. Very very good experience.

The cabin was nice except I got the cabin so I could have WiFi to do work remotely and the cabin I had was out of reach of WiFi reception so I feel like I overpaid for something I couldn’t use. The firewood there was still green/wet and wouldn’t hold a flame and only smolder so I was disappointed with that as well. Service and owners were very nice

My family and I enjoyed our stay this past weekend - all of the Luddington KOA team were so helpful to us. The cabin was charming and very clean. The children enjoyed the playground and sand pits very much - crafts too. The Camp Store had all the right stuff and we frequented it regularly. It was such a great time that I can't think of any suggested improvements. We will see you again!

Everything was great and perfect stay as alaways. Only complaint ( not really a complaint we love it there) was in pictures the cabin ( A Frame) we booked shows a tv on wall and there was no TV. we were not there to watch tv just expected one based off pics. we did not bring this up to staff or cared we just like a bit of backround noise at night and thought it had one. Campground and staff is A++

So many activities for the whole family - games, crafts, pool parties, jump pillow, arcade, etc. Staff are always able to meet any need we have. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

Very cute cabin for the price. The beds were very uncomfortable but again good for the price. They have a lot of great things for the kids. Definitely would stay again

The staff was nice. The main problem we had was our cabin was supposed to have WiFi access, and the cable TV didn't work, it was all static. The area had no cell phone coverage and without wifi we couldn't even use wifi calling to text or call, and no data on our phones. That was very frustrating having to drive miles to get any signal because our wifi didn't work. We also just left a day early.

The cabin we stayed in was very clean and spacious. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The environment was friendly and inviting. Next time definitely gonna bring the kids because the campground offers alot of fun family events.

The whole time we were there the pool wan never 90 as advertised. That was disappointing, looked forward to 90 water. We were there wed-Sat. The bathroom was decently clean but I saw the same dead bee on the floor day one thru day 4, as well as a piece of plastic bag on the counter the whole stay. The bathroom cleaning checklist was always marked off that it had been cleaned though.

When reservations were made, no mention of no tv in cabin. Also not one hook, hanger, towel rack, toilet paper holder in cabin. Moved to different cabin with no bed, only futon covered in dog hair. Poor staffing: only two people running the entire campground. Store was closed more than it was open. Laundry room issues. Security concerns due to no staff. Wi-Fi was almost non-existent.

We stayed Monday through Thursday. The campsite was relaxed and peaceful. The staff helped solve any issues that we had as best they could.

We rented the Deluxe Cabin for our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners and staff were very accommodating. The kids enjoyed the bounce pillow and the pool. The camp ground had a quiet and family friendly feel.

Hopefully you found my letter in the drop box. Our stay was very nice. Your campground is beautiful. Your daily updates texts are a great idea. Our only issue was housekeeping. We paid a lot of money for cabin and it should be as clean as possible before arrival. TVs probably should not be advertised since none of the 3 units we rented the TVs did not work.

The pool was clean and a perfect temperature. Loved the music playing in the pool area. Our cabin was clean. I loved that this was not a parking lot style campground. I just wish it were closer to Ludington.

The mattress in the cabin was very uncomfortable and seemed to have springs just about poking out, however the campground was great, and had a lot for the kids to do.

Everything was great except we stayed at Cabin #8 and there was a large patch of poison ivy all along the back edge of the cabin. Kind of disappointed as we have two kids and a dog and we couldn’t really hang out at our site because we didn’t want to risk getting poison ivy. If the poison ivy can’t be removed, campers should be warned when checking in with kids and dogs. Love the kids activi

Was a good stay. Host was very friendly and very helpful. Note about accommodation: Bathroom desperately requires towels racks (there are none) -- also needed are hooks to hang clothes in bathroom. Hooks to hang clothes in main room. Shower desperately requires a soap dish and/or shelf to place toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, etc. A shelf under mirror at sink would be very useful.

Upon checking in I inquired about receiving a military discount which I've recieved before on our cabuin rate. I was told by the employee checking me in they would look into and get back with me which she never did. Cabin we stayed in was dirty upon check in. We observed what appeared to be mouse droppings underneath the sink in bowls and also in the utensil drawer. I would write more but......

Unfortunately, this was my least favorite KOA I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at quite a few. I rented a deluxe cabin, which is very expensive to rent, and it just wasn’t great. It was a new cabin, so that was nice, but issues were frustrating. The shower leaked outside the small shower area that the floor was soaked, we had trouble opening the futon, hot water wasn’t on.

We went for a quick weekend getaway on June 13. Upon arrival, we were greeted by owner Joel, who directed us to check in. The other owner, Michelle, helped us with the check-in process, and Joel then showed us to our site. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The owners and their family clearly cared about the property and take pride in keeping it in great condition.

This was our first time camping here and it was amazing! Not only was our cabin cute and roomy it was super clean! So much for the kiddos to do pool, jump pillow and park. Then the staff added so many more activities including a foam party, tie dye and opened the giant slides for FREE! The atmosphere and our time was so great that we made sure to book x2 nights for the end of June!!

Lots of activities for families! The cabin was clean. I didn't love the air freshener as it woke us up at night when it sprayed it sounded like someone was opening the door. We loved the pancake breakfast and the family movie night.

The mosquitoes where horrible and kids where mean to my kids calling them names and stuff

My stay was peaceful and quiet and the amenities you offer are good. I did order 2 bundles of firewood but only used 1. I was told by Michele that KOA would not subtract it from my bill. Disappointed that was not an option. Also would appreciate the camp store being open for even a limited time during the day. Caretakers Dennis and Karen are an asset to KOA.

It was a wonderful time, clean location and loved all of the activities. The only reason it is getting a 4 instead of a 5 is because the futon bed in Cabin 6 is hard as a rock.

We stayed in the 16 person cabin. It was stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was spacious. I loved all the activites they had for the kids. The Halloween weekend was a blast!

We love this campground! We try to stay here at least once per year. In the fall, the campground hosts several "trick or treat" weekends, and we absolutely love seeing all the kids and families in costume. The campground is near the Pere Marquette River, which is fun to fish and tube. Only downside this year is it seemed that the campground was short on staff...saw several arrivals driving around the campground looking for their assigned spots...in the past these campers would have been escorted to their campsites.
