We had a blast. Everything was perfect... from the beautiful RV we stayed in... to the activities the KOA staff did for the kids and us. Our grandkids really loved the wagon ride and pumpkin painting. The staff was really friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and we were. I Will be coming back next year with more family, already booked. Thank you and see you opening day!

Pros:Great campground, very nice staff. Super clean bathroom. Awesome kid activities. Cons: only one bathroom not close to the cabins. Rustic cabin is very rustic no air, not even a mini fridge or microwave. A mini fridge would greatly improve the stay. Wish the store had more food than just pizza to order. Can’t wait to go back next year, hopefully we will be able to get a deluxe cabin next tim

Hobbit cabin was super cute. It would be nice if ceiling fan could run with the lights off. The small ceiling light would need to be on its own switch. There was no smoke detector in the cabin which concerned me. The bed was not great to sleep on. Adding a porta potty near the cabins with no toilets would be helpful for late night bathroom trips. Solitude of the campground was great.

We arrived after hours, and the text info had us prepared and comfortable arriving and getting settled into our cabin. The camp store had everything we forgot or needed. My boys enjoyed the movie Saturday night, and they took advantage of the ice cream available.

We had a really really nice time at Ludington East. This was our first time staying and we were highly impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the campground. The adorable kittens roaming the campground were an added bonus and were very fun to play with. We look forward to visiting the campground and Rory the Cat in the future.

We've stayed ever ever since they became a KOA. We (kids especially) look forward to every visit. There are new things every year. We enjoyed the "Heeeey" ride for the first time and had hoped there would be a night walk. We've always enjoyed the activities and look forward to our next visit. You are missing out if you stay anywhere else!

All in all it was a very enjoyable weekend. Being as isolated as you are, it's probably hard to get any better wifi service but that would be about the only recommendation.

This was a clean, well kept KOA. We were very impressed with this KOA and the attentiveness of the staff!! We will definitely be back!!!

Every basic things charge. Who charge for blanket and sheets after paying $350 for one night. You only give beds without any sheets and blankets. Onsite team told they with raise ticket for those charges but they charged on my card.

It's gotten expensive over the last few years, don't want to pay extra to pick site when we didn't have to before. We really appreciate the changes made and know that they are investing in the campground for the comfort of the guests. We stayed in a new cabin. Enjoyed AC and our own bathroom. Shower floor very slippery, great stay aside from that.

Cabin was neat and clean. Area seemed great. Had a hard time find finding the place from highway 10. Got lost. It was frustrating. However the area seems lovely.

Cabin #5 is brand new and sparkling clean. Patio is perfect! The trees block stargazing so we watched from the Big Chair. All the comforts of home except for a toaster—had the yummy cinnamon rolls. Can't say enough positive things about this koa. Beautiful grounds happy atmosphere and tons of stuff for the kids to do. You won't be disappointed.

Joel, Dennis, shanna(sorry didn’t get a glance at your name tag as we talked from afar) you guys were amazing. Joel, you were so personable! These guys have a great texting system that I cannot say how great it was! You want some firewood, a USB charging block, a case of beer, text em and ask and they deliver! Next time I’m bringing cash to tip, but these days you don’t know who takes cash!

Stayed in the hobbit cabin which felt new but was missing some finishing touches. The WiFi was spotty at best. The bathrooms needed cleaning and were in need of an update. The dog run space was nice but needed a mowing.

We welcome all feedback for improvements to our new hobbit cabin. The WiFi is frustrating but being surrounded by a National Forest makes it hard to find internet providers. Cleaning the bathrooms is a top priority of ours & we're sorry for your experience. We hope you will give us another chance.

I stayed in a cabin. The site was lovely. The cabin smelled really bad. I think a dog had an accident and it is now soaked into the floor. The mattresses was super hard! I did manage to sleep on them. The kids loved the activities. Especially the bouncy pillow and the pool. Overall I would stay again

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our cleaning staff worked extra hard to clean the cabin & correct the pet issue. As far as the mattress, we will look into getting something not as firm. On your next stay please let us know right away any issues and we will do our best to fix them.

Joel and Lydia operate a top-notch campground. Customer service was always excellent. The swimming pool is always a favorite activity for the kids. Great location.

Cabin was not clean. We had to wait an hour to get in. Our guests were given a free pass to get in, but we were not offered anything to make up for the inconvenience. Nice pool and friendly checkin.

What a great place! Our family rented a cabin and we had such a great weekend away. It was supplied with everything we needed and was super clean! All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and honestly one of the best customer service places we have stayed. The campground was well kept and the activities it provided for our 7 and 9 year old were spot on. We will be back!

This was our first time here and will not be our last! Joni was so awesome! Our deluxe cabin was amazing and so was the pool. We do wish though that they would consider doing activities like the night swims during the week though (that's when we stayed). The movie played up front Thursday night was REALLY loud and went into what we thought was quiet time (10?). This is an overall lovely spot!!

Our cabin was beautiful. The kids were just giggly over the loft. The fire pit and seating were cozy. The staff were all very polite and pleasant to work with. The pool is too small. The store/ check in needs updated, It's rundown, small and over stocked with items. Beware it is over a 20 minute drive to Ludington beach, I'm not sure why they call it a Ludington koa. Overall we had a nice stay.

The cabin we rented was even cuter and less rustic than we'd imagined. Great place to stay with kids! Lots of activities. Wish our cell service was better to get the activity alerts in time. Site store was well equipped and staff was always friendly and helpful.

Stayed last summer with family. Lots of activities for the kids. Pool area is nice. The male owner was fun, nice, and helpful. We didn't care for the site we had and he showed us around and moved us. Wish the roads would have been paved so kids could ride bikes/ scooters everything is large gravel and rocks. Staff was helpful and delivers fire wood. Kinda a haul to Ludington.

By far my favorite KOA in the state of Michigan. Secluded but with all the great activities. Close to the Pere Marquette River for fishing and kayaking and a quick easy drive to Ludington as well. The kids love this one and so do the dogs. We have brought our camper and those sites are so nice and we have also stayed in the cabins and they are always clean and comfortable.
