Campground was very clean. We were put up front with no trees any where. Our awning side faced the sun so we could not even use the patio it full sun all day and super hot 90 degrees. Kind of way out in nowhere if you are looking to do anything at all other than just hang out. Store is not well supplied and way out of line on pricing. $5 for a small bag of ice that Home City delivers only $2.

We enjoyed our stay at KOA. The campground is very secluded and peaceful, but this meant internet was very limited. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was nice having a partial kitchen and bathroom. I wish there was a list of everything included so we knew what to bring, the list wasn't exact. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but everything looked nice. We would stay again.

The campground was nice and clean, I was surprised there wasn’t much staff on site, we arrived at 5pm no one there to check us in and the store was closed most of the 3 day stay. The beds in the cabin were terrible.

Two great things that I haven’t experienced at a lot of KOAs. Great Wi-Fi and assortment of different campground options for tents, trailers and cabins.

We stayed up in the forest and had no Wi Fi signal but other than that we had a great time. We will stay here again.

My first KOA stay, and I had high hopes since the deluxe cabin cost more than a hotel. The cabin was tidy, but the AC had mold, and I got a sore throat after a while. The fridge had spots, and the floor could’ve used a mop. The water smelled of copper and sulfur, though not the campground’s fault. A few fixes could make it much more comfortable!

I am torn. I love Ludington East KOA but the pool was closed 2 of 3 days we were there which disappointed several campers with children. The employee made it seem pre-planned vs mechanical. We pivoted and went to Lake Michigan but I wasn’t expecting to ever leave. I also brought my own shirts for tie die but the prices to participate were through the roof so we decided to buy a $10 kit at home.

My family arrived after hours and was instantly approached by an off duty camp ranger who showed us where our camper was located. The grounds were pretty empty, but well kept. While unpacking, my husband had a medical emergency and all the staff and guests were fast to respond. EMS/PD responded quickly considering the location. DO NOT GO ON DIRT ROADS OTHER THAN 40th! Don't travel after dark!

We had a great stay! The kids loved the pool and the slide. The cabins were perfect- exactly what we needed. The staff was great- they were so helpful. The weekend cinnamon rolls were delicious!

We had so much fun! Our two boys had a blast making new friends and participating in activities with them, which gave the grownups some time to breathe back at camp. We appreciated the different activities and that some of them were free. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. Thank you again Dennis for the delivieries. The campground was clean and everyone was respectful and quiet when appropriate.

Very clean and helpful staff. Major turn off/dislike was majority of the activities offered you had to pay to do. Per night stay is already steep then add on more to just participate in activities for the kids was a bit much. Some of the items could be included with how much you have to pay per night camping.

Very nice campground. The owners have put a lot of time and investment to make their location to what it is. Activities were held throughout the day and the general store had all that you would need. The sites were easy to get to with our 37' FW. The owners/manager for the campground even delivered! Only ding would be to improve the WIFI. We were in site 234 and the WIFI was spotty at best.

The staff were excellent and helpful. However, the luxury cabin was not luxurious. We entered the cabin and were greeted by a strong chemical smell that persisted throughout our stay. We had multiple large dead and alive ants every day, Cabin - not very clean. Tub water - very hard to regulate to an acceptable temp. Bed - very uncomfortable. Full-size fridge - college size with no freezer.

We are return guests and have been coming here for over 3 years! We often meet up with family who stay in cottages. Both campsites & cottages are nice, spacious and clean. The staff and owners are great, and the activities & pool are fun for the kids. Located about 30 minutes from the beach and other local attractions. We would like to see another bathhouse for the new campsites in the back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Areas of improvement: offer activities for campers to do all week long, not just weekends. We thought the kids could have fun activities to do all week, but found out that wasn't accurate. We also bought the bracelets to use "during the duration of our stay" only to find out that wasn't true. We didn't know the ice cream/popcorn chips could only be used on weekends.

Learned the hard way KOA charges for an RV site AND each person/per night. With all the other extras it would've been cheaper to stay in a hotel. Toilets were out of order, others were dirty, out of toilet paper and soap. Being new to KOA I was confused I showed Michele the manager how our site sleeps 8, we had 7. We were treated like thieves. She lacks people skills so shouldn't be a manager.

It is a wonderful family park with a lot of planned activities for the youths and adults, lots of things to keep the kids occupied and safe. The distance away from Ludington is a negative if you want Lake Miichigan enjoyment, and GPS has a problem taking you onto gravel roads and seasonal impassable roads, not sure why, because there are paved roads to the park. Everything was great. We loved all the activities they have for the kids. We made bracelets, enjoyed the pool party, played bingo, danced at the glow party, had ice cream, and watched a movie by the fire!

Camped here with my family of 4 and we booked one of their deluxe cabins. During our stay there the staff was so friendly and always offering to help with anything we needed. On our first day, after being there for about 2 hours, the campground lost power. This was no fault of theirs and was caused by a bad powerline nearby. We were without power for about 20 hours, making our deluxe cabin rental ultimately turn into a rustic for that time, but we got by & made the best of it. The campground initiated a refund to us for that one day (without us ever asking). We were very grateful for that extension of kindness. The cabins are clean and perfect for what we needed. Our kids had fun engaging in campground activities and swimming in the pool. We will definitely be back to visit. Thank you again!

Run down/older campground. Very peaceful place given that there were not many campers. Not much to do for kids and activities were expensive.
