The campground has great sites for all types of campers. It has many great scheduled events for kids and adults. The only drawback is the wifi and cell service is spotty. Dropped several calls. If you rely on your wifi for rainy days, prepare a backup plan!

The worst KOA I’ve stayed at this far. Communication for important things, like the fireworks being set off directly behind my site, never happened. However, I did receive an excessive number of text messages daily to come spend more money at the activities. The folks are nice, but that doesn’t negate the lack of communication.

Everything was super crowded. It costs so much money to stay there but then a lot of items cost extra money. We didn’t like that. Don’t think we’ll be going back.

Well run campground. Clean bathrooms. Being 35 minutes from ludington, it's kind of a misnomer to have "east ludington" in its name, but it's location in the Manistee national forest is definitely unique and awesome. It's hard to come by private campgrounds in a truly forested spot like that. Major downside is gravel roads that make it basically impossible for kids to bike and pushing strollers.

Great campground. Nicole and Brian do an incredible job of making sure everyone has a great time. So many activities forkids and adults! We were there over 4th of July weekend and were impressed at the entertainment as wellas impressive fireworks display. We stayed in the new section of the park, site 273, which was a huge site and easily accommodated our 42 foot fifth wheel.

Excellent park. Site 27 needs some gravel so had trouble leveling and had some trouble with the distance to the water hookup. Luckily the office had a potable water extension hose I borrowed. Great service. Excellent amenities. Would recommended.

New part -- had these issues: 1.wifi was not available at our site even though it is listed as available (had to work remotely) 2.there was roots and tree pieces all over the site, some roots went through my rug and tripped us. 3.Our original site did not have "working" electric so we had to move sites. The male owner came over and was very helpful, helped us move things, tried to make it right,

The staff our very friendly, check in was very easy. The resort very clean. We love the events the have and the convince with getting this delivered right to our site. We definitely will visit again

Ludington KOA has everything one would need for a great experience. Nicole and Brian run a good operation. Clean facilities, plenty of activities, great customer service, and fast response to texts. The only reason I couldn’t give my review full ratings is because those car Camping are not allowed to hook up to site electricity. If KOA assumes such high energy use then fee the customer extra.

First, last and only stay at this KOA. Paid $100 for one night(with $5 dog fee) when comparable sites were $60 in the campground. When I asked management about the price, I got this reply.... It would be correct. Prices are based off when you book. We do adjustments throughout the year which apply to new reservations. So people will have different rates Thank you, Nicole WOW ����

Spaces are level and were large enough for our 42 foot fifth wheel. Brian, one of the owners moved us to a different spot due t to the size of our rig. We don't have kids but campground had tons of activities throughout the weekend. Staffwas very friendly and helpful. Even though the campground is in the middle of nowhere, i highly recommend staying here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the text updates throughout our stay with reminders of events. I really loved that items such as ice or firewood could be delivered to our site with just a text message.

There are a lot of activities; endless activities & noise until early am hours if that’s what you are looking for. It was not our favorite, we left early. However, Ludington State Park was amazing and worth the drive, we enjoyed the beaches, trails & lighthouse.

We were lucky enough to grab the last spot on MemDay weekend. The perfect spot for our family of 4, right across from the large jumping dome. Ecstatic kids! This campground was built with so much thought for families. It was exceptionally well kept by very friendly hosts. Because we stayed into Tuesday, most traffic had gone home. Some things were closed down. They opened ice cream just for us!

Arrived later in evening and had very good communication with camp grounds prior to our arrival. We knew exactly where to park before getting there.

We stayed two nights during the mid-week and enjoyed a relaxing time just sitting around the campfire and spending time as a family. Joel and Lydia and the team have done a wonderful job with their KOA, and are continuing to make it better for even more guests to enjoy. This is a great campground in a wooded setting with nice amenities, and just a short drive away to beautiful Lake Michigan.

I sent this already, didn’t want to review, because the place is under construction. Due to loud big trucks and the dust, we couldn’t sit outside. The store was closed for most of visit,made it difficult to get help when water went out. We were able to fix it, but it was frustrating. We also had an issue with the wifi, which a manager said maybe due to construction. We left for dif. Campgroun

This campground and staff are truly exceptional. Brian spotted a tire problem on our travel trailer when we were parking and saved us from a massive failure. Nicole does an amazing job organizing events during the day for guests and is prompt with any requests. Overall, I haven't found a better camping experience in the 20 years I've been RV camping. Absolutely the best!!

I stayed in cabin 203. It was clean, and very comfortable. The only thing I would like to see in these types of cabins is one or two shelves to keep the nick nacks off the floor and off the table and chairs..

Campground is maintained well. Our cabin was very clean and nicely furnished. We needed driving directions and staff were very knowledgeable. All the staff we met were polite and eager to help you enjoy your stay. Great place!

Loved the campground. We had a great wooded site. The site was easy to back into. The park had a lot of different opportunities for the kids, although we weren’t always aware of what was going on because there were not speakers in our area. The pool was sparkling clear. A bathroom/shower in each wing of the park would be nice. There basically was no internet that we were able to connect to.

We had an awesome visit! I was a little surprised about the small number of bathroom and shower stalls. It was more than made up for with all of the cleaning being done. Not the most up to date facility but super clean!! We would definitely go back!

Camped here with my family of 4 and we booked one of their deluxe cabins. During our stay there the staff was so friendly and always offering to help with anything we needed. On our first day, after being there for about 2 hours, the campground lost power. This was no fault of theirs and was caused by a bad powerline nearby. We were without power for about 20 hours, making our deluxe cabin rental ultimately turn into a rustic for that time, but we got by & made the best of it. The campground initiated a refund to us for that one day (without us ever asking). We were very grateful for that extension of kindness. The cabins are clean and perfect for what we needed. Our kids had fun engaging in campground activities and swimming in the pool. We will definitely be back to visit. Thank you again!

Run down/older campground. Very peaceful place given that there were not many campers. Not much to do for kids and activities were expensive.
