Thanks for a great EMS 1st Responder weekend. Suggestions: 1. could the vendors start earlier and end earlier so to participate in all the activities that day as well? Maybe 8-12 or 9-1 and then start with the parade and make sure on space and table availability. 2. The bathhouse floors are very wet and have no drainage outside the shower and it's unsafe. Great park! Clean, great staff, plenty to do with a stocked camp store! No pool, but they are working that with county officials, of course you could always swim in the sound!

We had a great time for their free public safety/military appreciation week. Site was great and staff was friendly. Only recommendation I would have is to have more kid friendly activities/games.

We had a great weekend even with the crazy weather. We had food that we took but didn't cook because of all of the food trucks. The events were entertaining and fun.

Had a seasonal site that was paid up front. All the amenities that were promised never happened. Disappointed. Not a great site with uphill sewer dump,that created problems .

We had NO wifi or cable until Nov 25th. I don't understand why a resort fee is charged. There are few amenities to warrant that fee. We were never notified in 2021 when planning our 2022 stay that there is a site reservation fee. We have made reservations for 2023,and we hope that wifi and cable will be available. Jennifer was accommodating.

We just started our rv journey, and this koa was our first stop. We loved everything about this koa. We would lovhave loved a pool but that’s all we would change

We are seasonals at the obx west Koa. We love the campground but would be really nice if they would get the boat that theyhave been advertising. Was disappointed on how much the seasonal rate for 2023 went up.

OBX KOA is our favorite local place to say! The staff is so friendly and awesome. You can't beat the views and the location is perfect for remote work with free wifi!

Jenifer was very kind at check in and in my opinion gave me the best spot because I filled out my paperwork before arrival lol gosh this place is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. We paid for a water site and it didn’t disappoint. Will be absolutely be back! A side note for others. The last 14 minutes are low speeds and narrow roads. The closest grocery and gas station is 20 minutes. Enjoy :)

The facility is very nicely kept. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable, the only problem we had, was there was ZERO TV and the staff seemed disinterested in dealing with the issue. The kitchen could use a few extra items, such as pots and pans, bowls, spare dishes, generally a little more stocking of basic kitchen items. Other than that, we'd stay there again!

Most of the time there are No issues I have stayed there 6-7 times this past year..Although we don’t get to enjoy most of the amenities we still enjoy it. This past weekend was a little different idk if it was because you’re closing down for the season. First cabin we went to Heaters weren’t working had to be transferred then once we got settled vinyl the other cabin realized there was No Tv

The staff here are very friendly, available and helpful. We came with the grand kids and even though it was a little chilly there was plenty for us to do. The grounds and cabin we stayed in are very well kept. Enjoyed our mini vaca in Currituck!

We had a good three night stay at the Outer Banks West KOA. Our FHU back-in waterfront site was beautiful with our raised patio as well as rocker in front of our firepit to look out over the Currituck Sound. Very quiet and relaxing for sure. We would look to stay here again if our travels bring us this way.

O didn't feel it was right to be charged for amenities, especially water amenities that weren't available in November. We didn't want to participate in any of those anyway, but still paid too much for that. It was very windy spot as well. I don't think we'll return there.

Great WF sites! We were there when it wasn't very crowded. Other than seasonal campers, most sites were empty. I'd like to give a shout out to Keith. He was very helpful.

This campground is outstanding! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The staff was so helpful and accommodating with everything. My husband and I agree this has been our best trip camping in all the places we have stayed in the last 3 years. We loved having so much access to water to fish, dog park for our pups to play, and the camp store had everything we forgot to bring. Great place!!!

It was a good stay. We have been to the campground before. The only issue was fire ants. We had quite a few mounds. I am highly allergic to them. We didnt have that issue when we stayed during the summer. They were really bad.

your off staff is rude we were robbed by other campers then maint staff tried to throw our stuff away when we went to the groc store because off didnt bother to tell them we paid for another day we will never go back there again

My first time at a KOA, the staff was great. I loved the quiet surroundings and being right on the water. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. Even though I was only there a couple of days, I definitely enjoyed it and will stay here again when I’m back in the area.

Great location, quiet and serene—just what we needed to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. This KOA is tucked away behind Church's Island neighborhood, so you wouldn't even know it's there. The roads are very narrow when going through this area before you get to the KOA, so keep that in mind if you have a big rig. But don't let that scare you, because there are plenty of big rigs that go there. Yes, we're going to visit again. The staff was great, the location is great, and the bathrooms and laundry facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The convenience store was great, and the fun activities they have outside, like a jump house, putting green, and little mini go-karts that are powered by pedal power, are worth trying out if you want to work out. Oh, and make sure you visit the Morris Farmers Market in Currituck, which is about 26 minutes away. It's definitely a place you need to visit for the shopping, the food, the music, and the environment—it's totally worth it. And if you want to venture out a little further, like we did, we went to Kitty Hawk, which only took us barely an hour to get to. It was such an easy and scenic drive, and we got to see an awesome part of history when it comes to the first recorded flights and innovation.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.
