Stay was pleasant and camp sight was very peaceful and quiet most of the time. Very scenic facing the water sound areas. Staff was very pleasant and attentive to requests or customary services. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wifi service as streaming TV without any issues. This is typically not the case in most RV camp sites. As weak wffi is typical at other visited sites.

Stay was good. Love the view of the sound. Stayed on f7 site was small. not enough washers and dryers for the size of the park .

Absolutely beautiful park! Very large with a beautiful nature trail around the park. Right on the Currituck Sound with stunning sunsets!

This campground was amazing! The access to the waterfront was perfect and gave you beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We splurged for a waterfront site and will always do that here! The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Was a quick overnight stay, quiet and peaceful where we were by the office, but when taking a walk by the water lots of barking dogs.

We always like going to this campground and have been here on several occasions. Overall, our stays are enjoyable. We have noticed, however, that the cabins are not being cleaned properly between tenants, and minor repairs need to be made (ex. blinds are broken/bent). We also noticed that the screens and doors have been removed from the cottages. We have concerns about how bugs will be addressed.

Everything was great. Golf cart rentals were very affordable. Would be nice to have a pool and for the main roads through the campground to be paved with asphalt. It would make bike riding much easier.

Laundry mat needs more dryers and washers. Expand store to include more food items. Friendly staff and beautiful well kept facility with exception of laundry.

The main bathrooms were shut down for the weekend. No plumber on call is pretty bad for a big facility like this.. should post about water moccasins at boat ramp.

amazing place surrounded by nature. near the Banks but not in all the crazy. Quiet enough for old folks and lots of activities for the kiddos. Before we left we made reservations to come back. Enough said.

We always enjoy this KOA. My only complaint was that the restrooms were broken the entire weekend, leaving 4 individual family restrooms with showers for the whole campground's use. This means 4 toilets/4 showers. It was quite a challenge. Hope they're fixed soon!!

I had a nice private tent location that backed to the woods. All the facilities are nice and clean with private baths. I enjoyed a pizza from the camp store. The only complaint I have is that the toilets and showers are so far from the tent sites so it’s either a long walk, or you have to drive. Other than that, I had a great stay!

Beautiful, spacious site and awesome sunrise, sunset. Grounds were pristine. Lots of birds and wildlife. Friendly and accommodating staff!! Our 7 night stay was fabulous- we will be back!!

It was amazing! The campground is wonderful, kid friendly, quiet, clean, and has beautiful views of the sound. Our family was very sad when we had to leave. I would come back again and again! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful, such a great campground!

We booked in February for this stay. I specifically called and asked if the kayaks would be available for these dates and was told yes. When we arrived we were unable to use them because the “water was too cold.” We were extremely disappointed, since that was the main reason we chose this campground. It was a beautiful 85 degree day. The welcome email even mentions them! Very Misleading

Huge park with great friendly staff. My issues were the amount of golf carts zipping around all day and way after dark. Plus the vehicles driving way past the posted speed limits. Not sure how you would fix those issues.

This has become one of our favorite spots for a get-away. Beautiful views of the Currituck Sound, a spacious and quiet campground, and a quick ride to the Outer Banks makes for a pleasant stay. Sunrise from the porch of a water view cabin never disappoints. Grocery stores, shopping, and good restaurants are also just a few minutes away. We highly recommend this campground.

Nice, clean facilities. Nice staff. Not much to do other than relax and watch small kids play. Fishing is terrible and both ponds lack sunfish, bass, or catfish for kids to catch. Campground really needs a swimming pool for warm weather campers. Golf carts were a must and very affordable.

This was our first "camping" experience and I must say that it was everything that I needed it to be. The staff was absolutely amazing at both check in and check out. Very friendly and welcoming. Being that it was just my daughter and I, I was very comfortable with the area. The grounds were very clean and nicely setup. The view, OMG was absolutely gorgeous!!! There's so much more to say but......

The campground is well maintained, that have a great setup with full hook up, plus patio, with table and chairs. A little windy during our visit, but enjoyed our water view. Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. We will return

we stayed at a kamping cabin that was furnished. we found the bathtub/shower very small and hard to properly bathe, it would be nice to have a bigger bathroom area as it was uncomfortable and tub was dangerously high to get in and out. it would be nice to have handles on the tub area. we are just a couple with a dog and it worked fine for us . plenty of room to walk around and a dog park too.

There were unsaid rules that were enforced and then super strict posted rules a waiver was needed for that were not enforced on the residential people there. There are way more residential sites than you expect to see at a Koa. They were out of a lot of the food they advertise. Not a bad place but I’ve definitely had better experiences for sure.

Great location, quite serene just what we needed to sit back and relax and enjoy the view. This KOAis tucked away behind churchs Island neighborhood so you wouldn't even know it's there. The roads are very narrow when going through this area before you get to the KOA so keep that in mind if you have a big rig, but don't let that scare you cause there are plenty of big rigs that go there. Yes we're going to visit again. staff was great location is great bathrooms and laundry. Facilities were excellent and well-maintained. Convenient store was great and the fun activities they have outside like a jump house putting green little mini go karts that use by pedal power if you wanna work out try those out real fun time. oh, and make sure you visit the Morris farmers market in Currituck, which is about 26 minutes away definitely a place you need to visit for the shopping the food the music and environment totally worth it. And if you want to venture out a little further like we did, we went to Kitty Hawk, which only took us barely an hour to get to, which was such an easy and scenic drive, and we got to see an awesome part of history when it comes to the first recorded flights and innovation.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.
