Very nice campground with beautiful water views! Very clean grounds & very friendly staff. The pizza from Happy Jacks was excellent & staff there were great as well.

Beautiful campground! Many extras not seen before, i.e. doggie wash station. Paw Park was meticulously kept, unlike others we have encountered on our trips. It was a pleasure to stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Bad weather did not stop us from having a great weekend. We enjoyed the shrimp festival and other vendors. Can’t wait to come back for the bbq festival next month.

Second year in a row for my husband’s birthday weekend. It also happens to coincide with the shrimp boil which has been a great event both times. Great music too. I love staying on the waterfront lots and when I post pictures, everyone wants to know where I am! Great views and super friendly staff and resident campers. We really enjoy staying here. It’s only about a hour from our home in

We had a great vacation !! The campground was inviting and staff was always helpful. The location on the sound was beautiful!! The weather was not on our side … but we still found fun things to do and enjoyed it!! We hope to be back very soon!!!

Cabin was incredible. Kitchen amazing. Hangers in half closet fell off when anything was put on them. Need more hooks to hang clothes on.

The stay at this KOA was ah-mazing. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff was really helpful and sweet. I have a 4 and 14 year old and we were never bored. Between biking the park, walking along the waters edge, fishing in the ponds, riding the rented golf cart to the activities that were planned and we attended (Reptile show & shirt tie-dying). We had a blast. We booked another stay to come back!

Beautiful campground right on the water. Very well kept, nice sites, plenty of room for our 40’ Toy Hauler. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

Wish there was a pool and that the store stayed open a little later on Sundays. Overall, we really enjoy this campground every time we visit.

The sites were clean, roomy. Beautiful view. But the laundry room was very small for size of campground. Out of the 3 dryer's, 1 broken. I was told it'd been that way for over a year. Very narrow room.

We really liked the campground and plan to return. They have a number of amenities for kids and we loved being right on the water with our own patio and patio furniture. Our only complaints: four bathrooms (bathrooms, not bath houses) seemed inadequate for a campground this size; and the campsites are pretty tight, though maybe no tighter than some other KOA's we've stayed it.

The cabin was neat, nicely furnished, very comfy. The grounds were great especially the nature trail to the fishing pond. It make for a great walking place with my large dog. The store was nice, and I especially enjoyed the ice cream. All staff were pleasant and friendly. Overall, a great stay.

Our stay was great. Views of the sound are wonderful. Clean campground and very friendly staff. A lot of room between sites. Close to beach if you want to go. Great time just walking along the sound and relaxing for a long weekend.

The site was simply gorgeous. We have a waterfront cottage and it was so peaceful and serene. All the buildings I visited were clean and the staff was professional.

Campground is clean, well maintained and has a lot of on site activities. Nice walking trail along the sound. Unobstructed views of the sound and sunrise are beautiful. Staff was great! Did not like that he camper sites are so close together along the water view side with the sewer pipe located in front of the neighbor's camper.

campground is very nice, this is our 3rd visit. The bathrooms are SO clean and sometimes that is hard to find in a campground, so thank you for that.

Stay was pleasant and camp sight was very peaceful and quiet most of the time. Very scenic facing the water sound areas. Staff was very pleasant and attentive to requests or customary services. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wifi service as streaming TV without any issues. This is typically not the case in most RV camp sites. As weak wffi is typical at other visited sites.

Great location, quite serene just what we needed to sit back and relax and enjoy the view. This KOAis tucked away behind churchs Island neighborhood so you wouldn't even know it's there. The roads are very narrow when going through this area before you get to the KOA so keep that in mind if you have a big rig, but don't let that scare you cause there are plenty of big rigs that go there. Yes we're going to visit again. staff was great location is great bathrooms and laundry. Facilities were excellent and well-maintained. Convenient store was great and the fun activities they have outside like a jump house putting green little mini go karts that use by pedal power if you wanna work out try those out real fun time. oh, and make sure you visit the Morris farmers market in Currituck, which is about 26 minutes away definitely a place you need to visit for the shopping the food the music and environment totally worth it. And if you want to venture out a little further like we did, we went to Kitty Hawk, which only took us barely an hour to get to, which was such an easy and scenic drive, and we got to see an awesome part of history when it comes to the first recorded flights and innovation.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.
