Beautiful place and great service. The only complaint is that some of the sewer connections need to be lowered vs putting a raised concrete ring around them.

Was disappointed, water taxi not running, shuttle bus not running ,and no information on things to do in the area. On plus side beautiful location, bit tiny site's. Very friendly staff

All staff were extremely helpful and so nice. Felt safe as KOA carts always out and about. Sites perfect. Next time we will bring our grandchildren. Plenty to do. Close to Coinjock Marina Restaurant with delicious service and food. 10 miles from Santuary winery . Can’t wait to return. Very relaxing weekend.

Wonderful place! Our cabin had some plumbing issues during our stay. We were moved to another cabin and Kris, at the front desk, made sure we were taken care of. The view and weather was perfect, and the boys enjoyed kayaking and paddleboards in the sound. We will be back!

First visit and already reserved to go back. Friendly responsive staff, neat and tidy grounds, clean bathrooms, quiet beautiful location, and lots a fun stuff for kids. Plus it was not overwhelmingly gigantic as are some of the campgrounds we’ve visited.

We had a great time staff was wonderful especially at the camp store. Cottage was clean and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed and the view was tremendous. Beautifully landscaped and maintained.

I loved the campground!! The grounds were extremely neat and tidy ( not a blade of grass out of place )the deluxe cabin I stayed in was also very clean and cute just perfect for one person and a dog . The only negative I could come up with was the water pressure in the shower could have been stronger but I definitely will give this koa 4.5 star!!!

Loved the cabin. It was very clean nd cherry with the light coloring. The outdoor furniture qa a comfortable and enjoyable.the entire facility was extremely well maintained. We plan on returning next year.

Great staff very clean. We had a waterfront site and it was amazing watching the sunrise and sunsets from the site. We liked it so much we already booked it for next year. Could use a laundry update as a couple machines were down.

I thought the place was beautiful , serene and clean. Friendly staff and accommodating as well. The decks on on the deluxe site too high to step up on , make them half the size it will be great.

One of the best KOAs we have ever stayed at, and we have camped at a lot. The staff was wonderful, the views were absolutely extraordinary, and the location was perfect. We have already recommended it to friends and family. Probably our favorite campground of all time. Thank you Currituck KOA for a wonderful 4 days.

OMG!!! It’s was AWESOME!!!! The staff was amazing! So helpful! I felt like we were camping with family! I met so many first timers to the campground! Everything was so clean and up to date! If I was retired it would be an awesome place to work! The view was fantastic despite some of the trees blocking my view at site WV69. We have definitely found a new weekend camp spot!

Normally we have a great time at this campground however this time there were issues. Got to the site and set up. Upon plugging in it was determined only half of our 50A connection was working. Reported it to a staff member driving past and they said maintenance would address it. Went all weekend and maintenance never came. 30A breaker tripped several times.

Some of the spaces were close but they spaced out campers since it was not full. Water view sites are nice to watch sunrise. However 2 of the 4 dryers were broken, had to wait over an hour to dry cloths.

We had a last minute reservation for a tent site. Desk was awesome about letting us change our site. My only issue was the bathhouse is too far away from the tents. It shpuld be centrally located or at least a single porta-potty.

Beautiful campground! Many extras not seen before, i.e. doggie wash station. Paw Park was meticulously kept, unlike others we have encountered on our trips. It was a pleasure to stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location, quite serene just what we needed to sit back and relax and enjoy the view. This KOAis tucked away behind churchs Island neighborhood so you wouldn't even know it's there. The roads are very narrow when going through this area before you get to the KOA so keep that in mind if you have a big rig, but don't let that scare you cause there are plenty of big rigs that go there. Yes we're going to visit again. staff was great location is great bathrooms and laundry. Facilities were excellent and well-maintained. Convenient store was great and the fun activities they have outside like a jump house putting green little mini go karts that use by pedal power if you wanna work out try those out real fun time. oh, and make sure you visit the Morris farmers market in Currituck, which is about 26 minutes away definitely a place you need to visit for the shopping the food the music and environment totally worth it. And if you want to venture out a little further like we did, we went to Kitty Hawk, which only took us barely an hour to get to, which was such an easy and scenic drive, and we got to see an awesome part of history when it comes to the first recorded flights and innovation.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.
