I did not get to stay. I pulled in and got my reservation paper as my phone rang. an ergent matter came up and I had to go. I had to put the reservation back in the box and leave. I enjoy this KOA and will stay another time

We had a great tent camping spot with wonderful views of mountains. The staff was helpful and amazing and made us feel welcome. Wonderful place to stay and drive the Million Dollar Highway to see all the fall colors. Can't wait to book again next year! One of our favorite KOA's so will definitely be back.

When we arrived our tent site was next to the group camp site. We called the after hours number to see if we could move to a site further away from the group site. They were very nice and moved us to a very quiet camp site. They even drove our new car tag over to us and asked us if the new site was ok.

The staff is very friendly and was able to accommodate us from a tent site in the rain to a cozy cabin which was very affordable. Will definitely come again!

Dustin was super helpful and friendly from taking my reservation over the phone to checking me in onsite in late Sept. My gripe was the women’s bathroom: the circulation of air was poor to non-existent. The smell from someone’s bowel movement was still present 3 hrs after I first went in there and the heavy humidity from the showers made the room feel stifling. Not pleasant at all!!!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Entire site was clean and well maintained. The Hummingbird Cafe breakfast was not very good. I only ate there one time!!

Great KOA! Showers were hot and bathrooms clean. They delivered firewood to our campsite for us since we were arriving after the office closed. Would stay again!

I would say that if people are a late check in, to ask them to be quiet because there were a few groups who came in at 10pm who where very loudly setting up there tents. A small reminder to them through text would also have been helpful.

I loved this KOA. It in a pretty area and the sites were nice. The bathrooms were very clean and the store has literally anything you could need.

Great campground in a beautiful location! The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Ouray KOA.

Poor rating because you would close the main office at 5pm. That’s the time everyone gets back to camp. So we couldn’t get ice or any supplies. This was problematic for most of the campers. Our only resource then was to drive back to town!

Great place! I highly recommend this location to anyone that wants to visit Ouray and surrounding areas. The only downside is the KOA bakery on site is pretty expensive, and other people visiting don't clean up after themselves in the restrooms. Very nice staff and clean sites!

About as close to perfect as a campsite could be. Staff is friendly and bathrooms are spotless. I've been here several times in the past, and hope to visit again. It sure is nice to talk to a friendly human on the phone in this age of AI.

A great campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can tell there have been some upgrades, too, such as the Laundry Room area has undergone a remodel.

Everything good. Bathrooms nice and clean, good hot water. Laundry room fine. Machines worked great.But there's no place to sit down in there.

Everyone we interacted with were so kind and willing to share recommendations and ideas of to-do's of the area. I called a few days before the visit and spoke to Dove, who was very knowledgeable and great to talk to. Paige checked us in and had great energy! Ty and Carl were hilarious and chatted with us at our site. Overall a very pleasant experience!! Props to the Cafe as well!!! Delicious!

Far too expensive for just a place to park and set up a tent. I know there are amenities but its till too steep for tent sites. Then the tent site wasn't very well maintained so it wasn't much of an upgrade over setting a tent down somewhere in the forest. The dry grass held lots of bugs and rolled up with the tent. Normally wouldn't care at all but considering the cost...

Clean bathrooms and showers, friendly and helpful staff. Everything that was offered as a service was working. We were there 5 nights with a group of friends and really enjoyed the campgrounds.

This property is centrally located between all the epic hikes in the area and only minutes away from Ouray and Ridgway. The staff treated us kindly and the facilities were clean. We were tent camping and our site was nice with wood mulch to make it softer and cleaner. The sites are mostly exposed so it can be warm but we were gone throughout the day anyway. Evenings were pleasant.

I always love our stay with koa. It was a different experience with the fire going around but it was nice having the park somewhat to ourselves.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The camp is very well maintained. Even when there are maintenance needs the staff goes out of the way to not interrupt campers. During the recent fire in the area the staff kept us very well informed and was concerned about our safety.

Was a large campground with bark chip walkway next to stream. sites pretty close together but well maintained. beware of dog walk- must stay on pathway or get attacked by cactus ! staff super nice. wish i would've found little cafe sooner. but muffins & cookies were delish!!!!

Nice campground. Almost 5 stars but for couple things. The good: Great staff, one of best stocked stores encountered, clean restrooms and showers, wooded, and nice fire-pit. The not quite as good: Nice laundry room but 2 of 5 dryers out of order. (All washers working so had to wait on getting a dryer). It has a restaurant. In evening had a pizza and fried ravioli which hit the spot. For breakfast didn't quite hit the mark. Our friends had pancakes and sausage patties and the patties were underdone. I had a breakfast skillet which was good , but bacon was small shreds had to hunt for. Husband's hiker's breakfast (fruit and eggs) was great. All in all glad to have stayed there.
