Beautiful campground. Amenities were wonderful. I loved the Halloween decor too! It was so dog friendly (and kid friendly) and the staff were friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. I especially appreciated the ability to communicate via text. We will definitely be back!

I had a very pleasant experience with the team at this KOA. The service was very good, and the grounds were well maintained. I have been coming here yearly for the last 5 years.

We had the most incredible stay at the Ouray KOA. All of the facilities were immaculately maintained. Its location is incredible; it's perfect for staying at camp all day or taking trips to Ridgeway or Ouray for day activities. The KOA offers more than you could ask for, especially for young families. There are so many resources available to make camping easy, accessible, and a whole lot of fun.

Camp layout was layed out awkwardly, it appeared that we were all crammed in like sardines. All of us were in the same location but the rest of the park was empty. why not spread us out?

The Friday and Saturday nights of your stay, the campground was almost fully booked for peak fall leaves, Ouray150, and Halloween weekend. The remainder of your five-night stay there were no immediate neighbors to your site. We look forward to hosting you in the future!

We ended up doing a late check-in after dark due to travel delays. They had everything ready when we pulled in at the late check-in box. They had the map clearly marked so it was easy for us to find our spot. Laundry is a 10/10. Multiple machines and The dryers dried our loads in one cycle. The park is clean and the store has lots of options for camping, snacks, and souvenirs.

Very nice KOA in Avery pretty part of America staff is super nice. I highly recommend and I’ll be back.

Nice quiet RV park, the BEST convenience store I’ve ever seen at a KOA. Very nice & helpful staff…. And decorated soooo cute for Halloween.. Loved it. Oh and close to Ouray. Highly recommend.

This is the best KOA we have been to! The amenities were wonderful, working, and best of all, clean! The activities for kids were so lovely and a nice added touch to our stay. Thank you so much!

Lovely setting and easy to reach Ouray and Ridgway. Our camp site was nice but very close to a very busy road with construction. The store closes very early compared to other KOA camps I have been to and the washroom can get pretty gross due to the early close. Book/Request a camp site away from the road if possible and ensure you complete any washroom needs earlier in the evening.

General manager Jeff and staff were great. Had some vehicle issues and they worked to help us get this solved. Had a lovely site right by the stream running through. Facilities and sites were clean and top notch. Very quiet with no highway noise. Staff also was always giving great suggestions on what tosee in the area. Can’t say enough about this KOA. Best one we’ve stayed in so far.

The pathways are not clearly marked, in this Parking among the trees and mountain. The road is fairly level and not a difficulty to pull a trailer. The sites are numbered on the pedestal for power, and using them along with the map I was able to navigate thru the KOA Park in the Dark in a late arrival. I will use this KOA again if I am the Area of the Million Dollar Highway Silverton & Ouray CO

This is a lovely campground. It is arranged in a lovely pattern with beautiful old trees, nice paths and a river running through it. It is quiet but very close to Ouray and all the activities.

The campground facilities and staff are exceptional; however, the contracted restaurant operation is significantly substandard. The food quality was unpalatable and posed a potential health risk, specifically regarding a breakfast burrito that appeared spoiled. Should you intend to continue jeopardizing guest health, renewing the current lease would be appropriate, though I strongly advise against

We keep coming back here. Gorgeous campground, amazing locations, SUPER CLEAN, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We can't say enough good things about this place. The fact that we drive 1,000 miles (each way) twice a year to stay here says a lot! Thanks to Jeff and the great team for another great experience!

Was a large campground with bark chip walkway next to stream. sites pretty close together but well maintained. beware of dog walk- must stay on pathway or get attacked by cactus ! staff super nice. wish i would've found little cafe sooner. but muffins & cookies were delish!!!!

Nice campground. Almost 5 stars but for couple things. The good: Great staff, one of best stocked stores encountered, clean restrooms and showers, wooded, and nice fire-pit. The not quite as good: Nice laundry room but 2 of 5 dryers out of order. (All washers working so had to wait on getting a dryer). It has a restaurant. In evening had a pizza and fried ravioli which hit the spot. For breakfast didn't quite hit the mark. Our friends had pancakes and sausage patties and the patties were underdone. I had a breakfast skillet which was good , but bacon was small shreds had to hunt for. Husband's hiker's breakfast (fruit and eggs) was great. All in all glad to have stayed there.
