The staff was great and friendly and the grounds and restroom are clean. It was very noisy late at night ( after 10:00pm) a lot of people coming and going.

I cant thank Jeff and the staff enough. Campgrounds are always clean, bathrooms and showers are perfect for campers. Solid Axle Summit group has had our gathering here for 8 years and we really enjoy the ease of access to all Ouray Holiday KOA offers to our group that comes from all parts of the United States. We always feel welcome and look forward to next year.

Jeff and his staff are very friendly and helpful to their guests. We stay at the Ouray KOA for one full week once per year and since Jeff has taken the GM spot things have run very smooth. I am part of the director team for the Solid Axle Summit and appreciate the support Ouray KOA has provided for us. Thank you again Jeff and all of your staff for accommodating our event every year!

The staff was friendly and interacted with the patrons like best friends. I like the texting if there was a maintenance issue that was fixed or the restaurant hours. The restaurant breakfast… AMAZING!

This was our honeymoon and we had an absolute blast! The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Dove and Taylor. Their kindness was always appreciated and it felt like home. The late check in process was very simple and easy. The accommodated us to stay a few extra nights without having to move our site. Everything about this experience was positive and we will definitely be coming back!!

Very nice large clean tent sites. Excellent clean restrooms and showers! Squirrel population is bad! Left box of sealed crackers in tent. Big mistake. While away squirrels chewed thru mesh on tent and devoured crackers left a mess behind. Now must repair our tent. Woefully inadequate WIFI. Would be nice to stream a movie but not possible. This is a huge negative and needs to be addressed.

Too crowded. Sites are too close together. Bathrooms usually had a line to get in (not enough). Our site was next to a sewer so it smelled.

We liked almost everything about the campground and we'll be back in the future. The only downside was our site location next to the playground and next to the office. The playground was too close. The children and adults playing there were loud and some of them kept coming over and using our table and camp chairs. Also, there was too much traffic around the office.

I’m sure others enjoyed their stay. There are great spots. Through luck of the draw and poor design our campsite was right next to the playground. I don’t mean like 6 feet away, try 1 foot away. Imagine 13 children running through your camp I can’t post photos here but, they will for sure be on google review. If you are getting up early for hikes, bike rides etc... request not by the pl

My husband, son (4 year old), and I stayed at the KOA for 4 days/ 3nights and we loved it. The bathrooms facilities were clean, campsites were large, and staff members were friendly and so accommodating. We would definitely go back, only difference is we would request to stay in a spot that has more trees/ shade as ours was full sun which made it a little hot! Other than that, my family loved it!

This campground was lovely and clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. The showers and bathrooms were kept clean and there was plenty of hot water available. I was able to get a site on the same day! My ONLY complaint is that the sites are so very close to each other. I stayed in a tent site and I was practically in my neighbors' laps. It was perfect for one night.

My rating is based on comparison with previous stays at this location. Overall my stay was pleasant. I do miss the cafe being available all week. Also, under new management the store closes early, usually we are not back from trails in time. Lots of trees have died which is sad and for unknown reasons.

Ouray KOA was great! Close to the town of Ouray. Workers were very friendly and accommodating. Sites were clean. Bathrooms were okay, could be cleaner. Weird smells around our site by the K9 camp. BUT overall, great experience!

The campground was great as always. The only drawback was that we were placed right in the middle of the FSJ group meeting. We had cars parked almost completely blocking our area and a multitude of people walking back and forth through our camp spot. The people were nice enough, it just made it hard to relax and enjoy when we were unwillingly involved in a large group gathering.

Nice, quiet campground. Appreciate the wood and ice delivery. Couple of concerns: photos on website showed tent spots on elevated wood chips (this was not the case), the lines were too long to use the bathroom and showers, and the lines were too long to use the sink. Need to double or triple these stations given the size of the camp.

If I could give this place 11 stars I would. We were trying to do our usual dispersed camping over 4th of July weekend. But along with many other cars we found all dispersed fairly full and landed at a KOA for our first time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. I’d write so much more but hit the character limit for a review. I highly recommend.

Our campsite was small and right next to a playground. We were woken up at 6:30am by some kid yelling while hanging out on the playground. Felt surrounded by RV’s and have no desire to ever visit this KOA again as a tent camper. I was woken up a few times late at night by headlights beaming into our tent. We left an evening early due to feeling a lack of privacy and quiet.

This is our 3rd year here. Everything was absolutely perfect. We love this campground and the staff go above and beyond. We even received text messages asking if we needed ice or fire wood delivered to us! Our only complaint is the long waiting times for the bathroom close to our tent site. We hope there are future plans for a new bathroom house!

Camp ground is always clean n free of debris never any trash on the ground! The shower house/ restroom is always clean spotless after it's been cleaned. Staff is always friendly, courteous, and happy! The store had everything needed and they delivered almost everything with very reasonable prices service with a smile 😃. We'll be making some reservations here in the near future love and enjoyed every moment of this last camping trip there they made our little vacation very pleasant!

Nice size lots and a nice big campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and the location is perfect! Great small local hikes with dogs is ideal and easy here. Close to town and easy to get to larger town if needed. Quiet. The stream through the campground is lovely. We saw deer every day on our hikes in the park.
