Staff is always friendly and helpful. The camp is very well maintained. Even when there are maintenance needs the staff goes out of the way to not interrupt campers. During the recent fire in the area the staff kept us very well informed and was concerned about our safety.

The employees were friendly and helpful, especially Jimmy who helped me dispose of my canopy that broke. However the campsite was not the peaceful experience I've had at many other KOA's. There was noisy construction during the day right by the tent site and when the wind blew my tent off it's stakes it was ripped by the barbed wire fence that lines the tent sites, causing me to leave early.

Great place to stay! It's very clean, close to town, and has the BEST staff. Everyone was so friendly. It was refreshing to be around people that really seem to like their job! Kelly and Chris were the highlights of this stay! They both really went out of their way to accommodate us. Kelly helped us book for 2 additional nights and worked with the manager to get us all together.

Nice staff, 4* local-run bakery (placard needed), but a piecemeal/cheap camp, perhaps a non-KOA camp previous? Loud/dusty large-gravel lanes, weak-flush toilets, empty defib box, scalding h2o, work-zone dish sink, maint buildings/vehicles in middle of experience. Wood chips/pea gravel will help. Felt dated w/ 100s of campers 'packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes.' 2 campgrounds in 1: Meh.

The tend pads were well kept and flat, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the bathroom and shower area was clean and welcoming. I had a great breakfast at the cafe. It was nice to have something hot for breakfast before continuing my trip.

Loved the layout of the campgrounds and the amenities it provided. Bathroom/Showers were exceptionally clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was quick and simple. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

We had an amazing time at the Ouray KOA! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt highly supported and absolutely loved the Halloween activities throughout the weekend. We’re already making plans to come back. Thank you!

From the moment you arrive, each and every employee are there to accommodate you in any which way you need.. The store, restaurant, ice and wood deliveries to your campsite..first class service, with top notch employees like Chelsea, Erick, and Jimmy..it’s always a pleasure.. in my opinion, the best campground in the area.. thanks..����

Everything was great, except some dog owners were not picking up after their dog, and one RC had the entire campsite lid because they left their 20-foot rows of light on all night! They just literally lid the entire campground. LOL

This used to be one of my favorite places to tent camp, but things have changed (for the worse). Tiny parcel of land next to trailers - feels like camping in a trailer park. Not likely to stay here again.

I didn't realize KOA hosts sooooo many people. The large group of college students were very friendly but there was another large group swearing and talking so loud until midnight. I have little kids and we were all trying to sleep so that was frustrating being so incredibly close to the other camp sites. Not my cup of tea but they responded the next day kindly and the entrance host was great!

The location was perfect for all of the exploring we wanted to do. The staff were all friendly, and the amenities were exactly what we needed, and then some! We had a tent site this time, but we'd like to come back and try a cabin next time.

My first campground stay! I was blown away by all the amenities offered at such a low price. The campground was clean. Everyone at the general store was very nice. I was impressed!

Nice location. Pretty scenery. Great staff. The washrooms and especially showers were not up to the level of cleanliness that I have seen before from other KOA’s. There are not enough washrooms or showers in the tenting area. I waited 20 minutes in line one morning just to use a bathroom.

We were impressed by this KOA - the staff was so friendly and accomodating! They will deliver Amazon packages to your site and pick up your garbage in the mornings. The dog trails were a nice local short hike option. Our site backed up to the irrigation ditch and the sound of the running water was delightful. Bring your mosquito spray and thermacells! Armed with both we were still able to enjoy relaxing outside. The location is great - 8 minute drive to either Ridgway or Ouray. We were present when pre-evacuation status hit for the Gold Mountain Fire nearby - the staff knocked on doors in the middle of the night to inform everyone of the situation and make sure we knew how to follow updates. We recently received a refund for the two nights we had to cut the trip short and we weren't even planning to ask for one. Overall just a lovely experience and looking forward to staying again in the future.
