I was so impressed with how many people working there and how they worked hard at keeping the place immaculate. One thing I was disappointed in was that there was not a good place to walk the dogs in the section across the irrigation ditch. I had to walk them by the road when I didn’t want to make the walk all the way across the park to the dog yard. Otherwise, the park was great!

Great facility, great staff, great leadership (Jeff). Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. Communication for outages (electricity, ice, etc) was on time and thorough. Definitely noticed the continued grounds improvements this year too. Couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for having us for Solid Axle Summit!

We really enjoyed our stay overall! The bathrooms were clean, the customer service was great. The only complaint we had were that the front bathrooms were closed a few times during that week (women's). Aside from that, things were great!

Stayed for a weekend. Campground was almost full, but it was always clean and quiet. Had good places to walk with our dogs. Will stay here again.

The showers are dated and dirty. The WiFi didn’t work in camp. Please find a way to keep the dog trail open during construction. The team was amazing.

Ouray KOA is a great place to stay. Campground is clean, employees are friendly and the views are amazing. We had a back in Patio site, right on the creek, and it was perfect. We also rented a Jeep from here and did some mountain trails to Silverton and back. Jeep ran great and tackled the trails without any issues. Will definitely stay here again.

We checked in and went into town. When we came back our site was taken by another group. We were given a different site around construction that was extremely loud and the water available was covered in duct tape and leaked into our storage.

The staff was welcoming and accommodating, and we got a great premium site that we enjoyed for three nights! The text letting us know about the road closures and power outages were very helpful! The ice and firewood deliveries were such a nice touch. The location also was wonderful. Offered scenic views only minutes away from the Charming bustling town of Ouray!

Everything was lovely, especially the staff. The only thing I would change would be the big flood lights on until 10pm.. you couldnt see the stars. It should be super dark in my opinion. Everything else was great!

This was the busiest koa I’ve ever been to. If it wasn’t camping traffic every 5 seconds, then it was staff on the golf carts. What could they possibly need to do that caused them to drive every few seconds back and forth. I stayed there 4 nights and not ONCE did they mop the bathroom floor. It had the most staff I’d ever seen and the least cared for bathrooms. Don’t ask for peace and quie

Superb! We stayed for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were always clean. The text message notifications were also nice also to give updates if a bathroom was closed, etc. Hope we can stay again sometime!

staff all staff are friendly helpful Aaron and Taylor were awesome just superb over the top accommodating to all our needs. Clean bathrooms showers, grounds... will be back for sure!. I will say site #10 could use some railroad tie solution and rework the design- the firepit moved away from the cleanouts.... I am sure that is on your list of improvements... ;)

The construction work a few sites down from us started every morning at 7am and was LOUD. It would have been nice to have it start a little later. Some other sites around us had vehicles parked out in front of their spots and took up a lot of driving space room. Otherwise we had a great stay and will Definitely return. Thank you for putting our friends and parents near by !

Stayed for two nights in a RV space. Space was a great size. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very nice to have a restaurant on site. Great base for all the Jeep trails in the area.

Beautiful site and view! Nice staff and plenty for the children to do (gem mining, playground, trampoline). Nicely lanpscaped walkways over bridges to other campground sites. The restaurant was acceptable.

Premium price for dirt/ gravel lots too close together! Nickel and dimed for everything! 6 months ago Requested spaces for my sisters family and us and was put in spaces that were back to back and then said that’s all we have! Staff friendly and courteous by we will not be back!

We stayed three nights in our RV. Our daughter and family stayed in a tent site close by. We appreciate the effort the staff made to put us close together. Our site was big enough for all of us to eat together. The fence separating sites was nice. We enjoyed walking by the creek and the kids loved the jump pad. The laundry room was nice and we used it. Firewood was delivered to our site.

Our spot site 2 was very dusty, most of the traffic coming into the campground did not slow down until the speed bump. Lots of traffic noise on the county road plus road work during our stay ( tractors/asphalt) Bathroom and laundry facilities were dated and had out of order equipment. The bathroom was not super clean- soap remnants left on the shelf in the men’s shower for multiple days.

Beautiful place however the smell of septic, and the fact that other campers were right on top of us took what was going to be a beautiful visit and turned it sour. Also, staff made me feel like it was a chore that I was there for them, and when I asked to speak with someone higher than the general manager, he threatened to kick me out of the park. I will be sharing my experience on every webpage

Was a large campground with bark chip walkway next to stream. sites pretty close together but well maintained. beware of dog walk- must stay on pathway or get attacked by cactus ! staff super nice. wish i would've found little cafe sooner. but muffins & cookies were delish!!!!

Nice campground. Almost 5 stars but for couple things. The good: Great staff, one of best stocked stores encountered, clean restrooms and showers, wooded, and nice fire-pit. The not quite as good: Nice laundry room but 2 of 5 dryers out of order. (All washers working so had to wait on getting a dryer). It has a restaurant. In evening had a pizza and fried ravioli which hit the spot. For breakfast didn't quite hit the mark. Our friends had pancakes and sausage patties and the patties were underdone. I had a breakfast skillet which was good , but bacon was small shreds had to hunt for. Husband's hiker's breakfast (fruit and eggs) was great. All in all glad to have stayed there.
