Great site and location is ok (not as close to the town of Ouray or any other restaurants, etc. (and there is no food available for purchase at the site). Common bathrooms/showers are very limited, heavily used/soiled and there is always a wait. For the high $$ rate, I would have expected better. Customer service at the site office/shop is great!

Would have been a five star but unfortunately the women’s showers were being renovated at the time. Also it was unfortunate that the cafe and bar was closed too early in the season, should be open and maintained through the third week of October. Loved the Halloween decorations. I met Chad one of the hosts and he was very nice, welcoming and helpful.

The campground is well situated off the highway nestled in the neighboring mountains. It is well maintained and has amenities (including pet friendly), restaurant, and store that provide all one needs to be worry free. Alyssa and Chelsea in the office/store are more than super friendly and helpful. We plan to return.

KOA Ouray was absolutely wonderful. Not ONE complaint. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Grounds, laundry room are very clean. Situated in the middle of the Ouray town and Ridgway. Keep up the excellent work.

Nice property and a great location! Our only issue was the wood burning campfires. There were a few nights where the smoke from other peoples campfires was so heavy that it made it hard to sleep. We had to close all the windows and run the AC but it still was too strong of a smell! Not sure what can be done except maybe require folks to put out fires by 10pm????

The wood was too expensive and there was no discount. Every other koa across the US does a discount. The campground itself was great as always

The only reason that I do not do a 5 is because we were in spot 84 pull through spot and we didn’t sit outside because of the traffic and the foot traffic that drove and walked by our spot. Need to put up a tall fence to maybe help with some privacy for that spot. We just didn’t feel like we had privacy. Or was awkward sitting out there.

Although full, the campground was clean, organized and quiet. Even though we didn’t have a dog, the dog walk is a great idea!

This is an absolutely wonderful campground. Friendly helpful employees, very clean restrooms, safe, peaceful. I choose to stay here versus anywhere else when I am in the area.

Lovely stay at this campground. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. We didn’t use any other amenities at the campground. Very friendly office staff.

One of the loveliest KOAs we've been to; we try to go annually.The staff always goes above & beyond, too. Highly recommend this KOA to folks who are headed to Ouray and want to camp with amenities.

Very nice park clean and they stayed in communication about things like if you needed fire wood respond to an email and they would bring it to your camp site.

When we arrived, we were put in a spot next to people who had a dog pen with four dogs RIGHT outside our front door. It was on their spot, but about 2' from where we stepped out. We asked to be moved, which they did. They were very nice, but it makes me wonder why they would put a 40' coach in the midst of dogville. I like dogs, but that was excessive.

Great, friendly, professional staff, all of them. Always willing to provide helpful service, answer questions and increase the enjoyment of the guest's camping experience. Restrooms are immaculate. Best I have seen at any RV park. Roomy, bright and over free. The music is a really cool touch as well.

Wonderful campground. Clean, relaxed and the most kind friendly staff. They bring you charcoal, firewood and take off your garbage. Bathhouses are clean, spacious and private.

Staff was VERY friendly! This KOA still felt like a campground vs gravel parking lot and campers back to back. Would definitely use again. Just wish the spots were little more spread out but I get it, gotta make that money and get people in.

We absolutely loved our 10 day stay! Jeep rental was super easy pick up and drop off. This campground is what every campground should be - trees, a steam, mountains and the smell of campfires. Our dogs loved the dog park. Brian the barista makes excellent coffee. Staff was super friendly! I suggest better accessibility in the restrooms like grab bars or larger stalls for people with disabilities.

Our second time staying here and we love d each time! It’s well maintained, friendly, helpful staff. Love all the updates and improvements! It’s just a very comfortable and welcoming place. Love the off leash dog park! Keep up the good work! And pay no attention to the complainers that complain about things that are not the campgrounds fault, they just want to complain ���� We will be back!!

Clean park, friendly staff, great amenities. Dog trail and park were handy. Dog wash station is a great perk. Didn’t have kids but seems to have plenty options for kids play. Very convenient to Telluride, Silverton and Ouray.

Two of the heaters in the showers in the west sector didn't work, making for a cold room when showering early in the morning or late in the evening. All in all, a great KOA. Staff was great, very friendly and most helpful. Very well maintained. Clean.

Enjoyed our stay very much, staff are wonderful, campground very clean. You definitely want to rent a jeep. Off roading through the San Juan Mountains was breath taking. There are towns close by with great restaurants and shops.The KOA store sells ice cream that is made by a local that is to die for. Thank you Carl, Dove, Jeff and Sarah for an unforgettable stay.

Camp ground is always clean n free of debris never any trash on the ground! The shower house/ restroom is always clean spotless after it's been cleaned. Staff is always friendly, courteous, and happy! The store had everything needed and they delivered almost everything with very reasonable prices service with a smile 😃. We'll be making some reservations here in the near future love and enjoyed every moment of this last camping trip there they made our little vacation very pleasant!

Nice size lots and a nice big campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and the location is perfect! Great small local hikes with dogs is ideal and easy here. Close to town and easy to get to larger town if needed. Quiet. The stream through the campground is lovely. We saw deer every day on our hikes in the park.
