The tent site given was close to a bathroom as requested, but way too small and right by the kids playscape. We are a brother, sister pair without kids, so it barely worked out... We payed extra to get a cabin that was nice but the mattresses are what you'd expect, plastic and hard. It was dry and warm. Restaurant was closed. Bathrooms were great. Overall, not too bad. Just a little pricey.

There was an electric issue and we were unable to stay in the original cabin we rented, however, our stay was one of the best experiences we have had at a KOA. The staff was incredible, the cabins were clean and the views incredible. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed at several KOAs in the last several years and this one ranks in the top 3. Staff are friendly and helpful, grounds are well kept, amenities are great, bathrooms are clean, and location is ideal.

I will be back! Loved the camping cabin, the setting was so nice. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. The store had a great variety and well stocked. The staff were all so friendly and gave me great suggestions of things to do in the area. Marchio's Grill was delicious, I had the green chili breakfast burrito. So happy I chose the Ouray KOA as my basecamp!

Polite and friendly staff. Maintenance man was at my cabin with a minute of my requesting a minor repair. (threshold nails were slightly sticking up). I saw house keeping staff allow guests into restrooms. multiple times while they were cleaning. Grounds looked amazing, Trees were beautiful and helpful in shading vehicles and Cabins.

It was our first time staying at a KOA! It was Amazing!! Dory was professional, helpful and very knowledgeable!! All the staff were friendly and so helpful!! It is so clean and nice, we will be back.

Location was awesome. The site was beautifully treed and situated in the mountains. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I stayed in one of their little air conditioned cabins and I thought it was great. There was a waterway in front of my cabin so at night I ditched the a/c and opened the windows to listen and fall asleep to the sound of running water. Very affordable- 4 mi. To Ouray!

On our second night staying in a deluxe cabin the electricity went out in 4 or 5 cabins. The only communication we received was a simple text message saying they were working on it. We had to spend the night in a cabin that had no electricity, no hot water w/out even a flashlight. We called, went by office, but no one was onsite ‘til 8:00 AM

Revisiting Ouray, our old stay was horrible, unfriendly and was definetly predatory towards the customer. Circumstances dictated a return recently and we were amazed at the obvious difference entirely! The facility is clean, well organized. Staff friendly, helpfull, great spirits. Store,Restaurant & Amenities more than satisfied needs. Manager engages with all guests happily. Now our favorite KOA!

STAYED IN DC2 BED IS NOISY ABD TOO SOFT FOR MY BACK BUT CABIN WAS VERY NICE AND STAY WAS GOOD. STAFF WAS GREAT.

It’s a super family friendly atmosphere! My kiddo loves the playgrounds and hiking paths. The deluxe cabins are a great way to enjoy your visit! They are clean and comfortable.

It was very nice to have a cabin over my head and to know I had a place to stay every night. I usually car camp and visit dispersed camping and move locations nightly. So this was an upgrade thanks to my husband.

The campground amenities are nice and clean. Our son loved playing on the two playgrounds and jump pad. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. Thank you for making our stay easy and relaxing.

This was hands down our BEST KOA experience. Aaron & Rob were great! We were all treated so kindly by the staff and they always made sure we were doing well. The campground itself is beautiful with a good size playground and jump pad. The store has everything you may have forgotten too. Campgrounds and bathrooms were very clean which is always a relief! Cant wait to stay here again!!!

It’s a great place! Very friendly staff and very clean. The location is perfect for being able to see all the sites that are around Ouray. Even the people who stay in the campground are very respectful of everyone.

The Ouray KOA has always been a highlight of my trips to the area. But the staff has definitely become more unwelcoming and "put out" this year. Not a good sign.

Love Ouray KOA this was are 4th year staying there for a week and every year the experience has been GREAT!!! The staff is very friendly and they are wonderful to work with. You can't go wrong stay at the Ouray KOA!!! Already made my reservations for next year.

Stayed in a clean, well maintained Deluxe Cabin. Very comfortable. Had an issue with the lock and the maintenance crew got right on it and had it fixed in minutes.

We loved our stay! The park was serene and even to be so full, it was quiet at night. We stayed in a Camping Cabin and it suited us perfectly. The restrooms/showers were always clean. Every employee was friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Aaron, Eric, and Kara!! This was our first time at this property but definitely will not be our last! We're already planning a trip for next fall.

We try and get to Ouray KOA at least once a year. The staff is usually over the top amazing. That said, it felt like there was a different management team there this year (2025). It is still a great place to stay but the customer experience was definitely off this year.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. Clean cabin and bathrooms. Hope showers. Appreciated the service where they drop off firewood directly to your cabin after you order it from the store. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area and don’t mind a short 7 minute ride into Ouray or Ridgeway.

My father and I stayed in the camping cabin for a few overnight last minute dirt bike trip. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the food available at the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very helpful and all amenities were really convenient and made the trip a 10/10 glamping experience. We will be returning. Also really enjoyed the live music and community events.

Camp ground is always clean n free of debris never any trash on the ground! The shower house/ restroom is always clean spotless after it's been cleaned. Staff is always friendly, courteous, and happy! The store had everything needed and they delivered almost everything with very reasonable prices service with a smile 😃. We'll be making some reservations here in the near future love and enjoyed every moment of this last camping trip there they made our little vacation very pleasant!

Nice size lots and a nice big campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and the location is perfect! Great small local hikes with dogs is ideal and easy here. Close to town and easy to get to larger town if needed. Quiet. The stream through the campground is lovely. We saw deer every day on our hikes in the park.
