Staff is excellent! Campground is great. Unfortunately for us our neighbors on both sides didn’t have a lick of courtesy or respect and ruined the final days of our stay. I will strongly point out the staff did give us the option to move but we declined since damage was already done from neighbors and wasn’t worth packing and setting up again. We will return and hopefully find a better spot.

Great stay, clean rest rooms! Tha last night there was a motor home in space 88 that had his music blasting until almost 9 pm. An after hours phone to report these incidents should be made available.

We booked 2 nights, an RV spot & a tent spot the day before arriving. The desk attendant was very courteous & worked it out for our group to be close together. We even extended our stay & got to keep our spots the extra night. The best KOA campground we have ever stayed in.

We had a wonderful time at this KOA. I must say that this was by far our BEST experience camping anywhere. I think what made it special was the communication from the campground management. Leading up to our stay, the management communicated the circumstances involving a wildfire that had begun within close proximity to the campground. They were incredibly welcoming to us. Every single person I came in contact with from the staff was very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at the Ouray KOA a few times and I will be most definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience.

Everyone we interacted with were so kind and willing to share recommendations and ideas of to-do's of the area. I called a few days before the visit and spoke to Dove, who was very knowledgeable and great to talk to. Paige checked us in and had great energy! Ty and Carl were hilarious and chatted with us at our site. Overall a very pleasant experience!! Props to the Cafe as well!!! Delicious!

Far too expensive for just a place to park and set up a tent. I know there are amenities but its till too steep for tent sites. Then the tent site wasn't very well maintained so it wasn't much of an upgrade over setting a tent down somewhere in the forest. The dry grass held lots of bugs and rolled up with the tent. Normally wouldn't care at all but considering the cost...

this KOA is in a transition. They are making some great improvements. Always clean restrooms. BUT the best improvement? Finally a KOA that has fantastic internet!!. Really works great now.

Great stay! Quiet and peaceful, office staff was great. Had a little problem with someone charging purchases at the office to my site number, but they got it straightened out. We will be back!

Clean bathrooms and showers, friendly and helpful staff. Everything that was offered as a service was working. We were there 5 nights with a group of friends and really enjoyed the campgrounds.

Not great. The place seems run down and when paying $110 per night you expect more. Construction across the from our site. Construction materials everywhere. Cafe with little to now food, burnt scones and dry muffins. It was pretty pathetic. Next time, we'll skip it and keep driving.

We got there a few days after they reopened from the Gold Mt Fire. It was pretty empty, but the staff was fantastic. We ended up adding an extra day, and they helped make sure that was possible. Location to town is great, and all the things to do in the San Juans.

We reserved a two night stay and ended up extending for another night. The campground is maintained exceptionally well and the restrooms/shower facilities are very clean. Ouray KOA has one of the best facilities for washing dishes I have seen in any campground. 5 stars! We will definitely come back on future trips to the area.

This was our 2nd stay here and we love it! The staff are wonderful! We have only had one rude guest experience, these ppl started their diesel RV at 5 AM and let it run for 45 min before they finally pulled out. Who does that? They are called quiet hour for a reason! Not KOA's fault at all, simply rude ppl. We will be back. Dispite the fire close by the air quality was most good!

Loved it here! Can’t wait to come back. We were here when the gold mountain fire started and the staff here made sure to keep us updated and safe and took extra precautions to ensure we were okay. They went above and beyond what other campgrounds would do. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff

This property is centrally located between all the epic hikes in the area and only minutes away from Ouray and Ridgway. The staff treated us kindly and the facilities were clean. We were tent camping and our site was nice with wood mulch to make it softer and cleaner. The sites are mostly exposed so it can be warm but we were gone throughout the day anyway. Evenings were pleasant.

Store closed early at 4pm. A large trash can outside the restrooms was not marked as no food. Campers threw food in it and by the morning, a bear had made a feast out of it and no one was around for hours to clean it up

Was a large campground with bark chip walkway next to stream. sites pretty close together but well maintained. beware of dog walk- must stay on pathway or get attacked by cactus ! staff super nice. wish i would've found little cafe sooner. but muffins & cookies were delish!!!!

Nice campground. Almost 5 stars but for couple things. The good: Great staff, one of best stocked stores encountered, clean restrooms and showers, wooded, and nice fire-pit. The not quite as good: Nice laundry room but 2 of 5 dryers out of order. (All washers working so had to wait on getting a dryer). It has a restaurant. In evening had a pizza and fried ravioli which hit the spot. For breakfast didn't quite hit the mark. Our friends had pancakes and sausage patties and the patties were underdone. I had a breakfast skillet which was good , but bacon was small shreds had to hunt for. Husband's hiker's breakfast (fruit and eggs) was great. All in all glad to have stayed there.
