We stayed in the Deluxe Cabins and had an awesome stay! Nice centrally located in the San Juan Mountains, just north of Ouray. Customer service was outstanding and we look forward to future stays!

My wife and I have been staying at the Ouray KOA for several years now, each time we make our summer trip to Ouray. As always, we had another great time and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back! Thank you!

We had a great time. Dinner at the KOA diner was not good at all out of hamburgers, French fries were soggy, we paid $70.00 for a terrible meal

Absolutely loved our stay at this KOA! Started out with 1 night at an RV site with our tent and ended up extending our stay an additional night at a cabin. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the campground itself is also very cute with a small creek running through it. Very clean amenities! Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly! The on site restaurant has great food!

We have been coming there for years. I love going there, but the prices are pretty high. Plus we wanted to hold a spot. We were charged $75.00 to do so. I miss understood what the lady said and asked her to hold it for us. ( my fault). I would not have ok'd it if I understood correctly. We are probably going to be looking else where for a place or just not come down so often.

Store hours during the week needs to be 8 am to 6 pm. Back bathhouse showers need to have larger bench seats to sit on to put shoes & socks on. Showers need to have non slip floor strips on to prevent slipping. Each shower needs at least one grab handle in the shower. I have been tenting at this KOA since the late 70s for 6 to 10 days at a time every other yr & bring other 4 wheelers with me.

One of several stops on a two week vacation. Well kept property, nice restaurant, shower house and laundry facilities. Friendly staff. Kids would have liked a pool but we did the hot springs the day before we left. A great time was had by all!

Ouray KOA is a beautiful setting, with many trees, rock cliffs and a sweet little stream. Everything is clean and well maintained. The numerous staff are very friendly and helpful. We have already recommended it to friends and family. We would love to return.

Our stay was wonderful! Frank and his wife were fabulous and so helpful. We actually extended our stay by a day. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Great staff, you can tell they love their jobs and care about their campground. Clean restrooms, very quiet except for the traffic by the office. There were a lot of cars that just drove around the loop and left. The whirlpool was under roof and very hot! Nice!! Enjoyed a five night tent stay and would definitely stay there again!

This was our second stay at Ouray koa Holiday and LOVED it. Everyone working were very nice and always quick to say hi. Such a great place to stay and see the area from. There are some very tight spots, however like most RV Parks there are also some very nice spots. Can’t wait for our next stay.

The Deluxe cabin was great for what we needed. We were there for a wedding so we needed a place for a shower and place to get ready, so the cabin worked better then a tent of a basic cabin. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We love spending time at KOA Ouray!! We go there a few times a year to enjoy the trail running with our 2 Jack Russells. The staff are very friendly, the campground is always clean and well maintained. Thank you to all for their efforts!!

We enjoyed our stay! There was plenty to do in Ouray, Ridgeway and the surrounding area. Both towns are quaint and full of activity. We took a hike as well. Plenty of shade, a creek runs through it, staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely spot!

Overall the stay was great. High marks for a very nice restaurant/café. This campground is very quiet. The staff was good at best. We had no issues with the staff. They just were not as friendly as staff that we’ve encountered in other KOAs. The campground is spread out, although some of the sites are very close to each other. With all of this being said we recommend to friends and family.

Great park, friendly and helpful staff! Just try avoid the Tent/Camper spot #9 or you'll be up all night with the lights from the bathroom and walkway area by the restaurant, along with hearing all noises from surrounding campers making their way to the bathroom and lodge. It would be great if you could reserve specific spots straight from the reservation website vs waiting until you check-in.

Great location, you’re close to so many things to do and have so many things just right at the KOA. It was nice to have a restaurant right there, breakfast was great. They don’t do lunch only breakfast and dinner, and we went closer to end of season so the store hours were cut back but staff was amazing and everything was clean and in good condition around the campground.

Overcrowded now and very congested. Store hours were not convenient as I left daily before 8 and returned after 6. So I bought items in town and other campground up the road. Slow shower drains, backed up sink on the weekend. Bathrooms had sewer odor. Cabin experience was adequate but too close to kid play areas. This used to be a nice quiet place to tent camp. Now its huge RV lot.

Beautiful campground with streams passing through it. Great facility. Lots of great activities for kids. The site we were originally slated to be in was a bit short for our rig and the campground was very accommodating in placing us in an equivalent site. We offered to pay a higher rate if that applied and they declined taking any payment.

We got there 2 hours early and was towing a car we were not able to check in until 2:00 and had no place to go we had to go park on the side of the road the man was very rude also other than that the place was really nice except the bathroom was dirty

I enjoyed my stay at Ouray KOA. The Camping Cabins are my favorite and I was happy to be away from the playground and busier part of the property. The cabin had everything I needed and even had a stream out front. The laundry and restroom facilities were convenient and well maintained. Staff, for the most part, were friendly and efficient. My checkout went better than my checkin, but overall A+.

There is a ton of staff, all very nice. But the store closes at 5 every day and the restaurant was not open the entire Sun-Thu of our stay. If you are out during the day exploring it’s impossible to get firewood, or food past 5pm. With all those yellow shirt people it would be nice if someone stayed later. Another minor complaint is the use of 1” river rock vs class 5. Very hard to walk on.

Jeff and the staff were amazing and helpful. Jeff provided great information on area activities, dirt bike trails and other interesting sites to see. The camp was clean to include good clean bathrooms. One down side was there was not enough staff for the coffee bar and breakfast, so plan accordingly. A great location to see some beautiful views! We would stay there again.

Perfect location for those who want proximity to Ouray while staying in a peaceful area out of town. The KOA personnel are very friendly and helpful about local hiking and dining options. The scenery is beautiful and a neighboring landowner welcomes guests to enjoy a hike on their property.

We loved our site (59). However, it needs more gravel badly as do all the sites in that area. Mud was a problem. Some staff were unfriendly, actually disrespectful. Restrooms not well done. Outside lights at restrooms burned out. When taking people to their site, the host pointed at it and drove away. Didn't impact us but some others were left confused I could tell. Good location.

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded.
