Enjoyed our stay. However, I do not understand why you would charge $75 to hold a campsite. Ridiculous and certainly not in the spirit of customer service. An attendant mentioned an optimization fee, for the charge. You have the deposit for no shows, makes no sense for the additional fee. Sounds like gouging. Not a good look.

Ouray KOA is a gorgeous campground. It is surrounded by mountains. The grounds have large old trees, really nice dog walk. Bathrooms are clean. Ouray KOA is a large campground with a lot of cozy cabins and 6 deluxe cabins. Unfortunately during our visit the deluxe were not available except 1 of 4 days. Hopefully next time they will all be up and running. Ouray staff were friendly/helpful.

Stayed for two nights. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful regarding scenic adventures in the Gunnison area and local restaurants she thought were noteworthy. The only complaint is that the internet is pathetic. Zero service at our site. I would suggest the owner of the property invest in additional routers to improve wifi coverage.

Nice campground . We were at site 83 and loved being tucked in the corner. We met Eric the first night and he provided us with great information on what to do and where to eat. Very helpful and nice to talk with. Came by the next evening to see how our day was …that has never happened to us before . So welcoming. Get him back next season if you can !!!

The staff was very accommodating, the park access was good, we have a 42' fifth wheel. Amenities were clean & very nice.

We had such a pleasant stay at KOA Ouray. The campground was immaculate and beautiful, and the managers there were amazing! We’ll definitely be back!

Friendly staff, very clean bathrooms and thank you for the best cabin location!! We hated to leave. Thank you to the young man for the suggestion to check out Telluride, was definitely worth the detour.

People in the office were awesome! Top rated service from everyone at campgrounds. I would recommend this Koa over all Koa’s we have stayed at! We will return again next year!

Ouray KOA was a great place for us to stay for Jeep Jamboree. Everyone was friendly from the camping neighbors to the staff. After a few long days of trail rides, the deluxe cabin was just what we needed for a snack, shower and night of sleep.

This used to be one of my favorite places to tent camp, but things have changed (for the worse). Tiny parcel of land next to trailers - feels like camping in a trailer park. Not likely to stay here again.

We had a great time in Ouray and enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back. The staff was amazing, helpful, and so friendly. The facilities were always clean we loved being able to purchase items at the onsite store.

Beautiful campground. It is well cared for. Nice, clean , bathrooms. We camped across the road from our family so we appreciated the accommodation. Our cabin was clean and stayed warm during the colder night temperatures. Lovely place.

Overall, our stay was good — the campground was clean, and the amenities were just fine. The only downside was dealing with an extremely rude manager. We stayed for two nights with friends, and on one of the days, while waiting at the park before heading out to dinner, the manager aggressively pulled up in his golf cart. He gave us a dirty look and rudely asked if we “needed something.”

I didn't realize KOA hosts sooooo many people. The large group of college students were very friendly but there was another large group swearing and talking so loud until midnight. I have little kids and we were all trying to sleep so that was frustrating being so incredibly close to the other camp sites. Not my cup of tea but they responded the next day kindly and the entrance host was great!

The location was perfect for all of the exploring we wanted to do. The staff were all friendly, and the amenities were exactly what we needed, and then some! We had a tent site this time, but we'd like to come back and try a cabin next time.

Camp ground is always clean n free of debris never any trash on the ground! The shower house/ restroom is always clean spotless after it's been cleaned. Staff is always friendly, courteous, and happy! The store had everything needed and they delivered almost everything with very reasonable prices service with a smile 😃. We'll be making some reservations here in the near future love and enjoyed every moment of this last camping trip there they made our little vacation very pleasant!

Nice size lots and a nice big campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and the location is perfect! Great small local hikes with dogs is ideal and easy here. Close to town and easy to get to larger town if needed. Quiet. The stream through the campground is lovely. We saw deer every day on our hikes in the park.
