We arrived very late (11:30 pm) but the Night Registration had everything ready for us when we arrived. There was some construction happening in one of the Women’s restrooms at the front of the KOA, but they were very timely with updating guests on this. The Ouray KOA was decked it with Halloween/Fall decor and felt like home. Highly recommended!

The cabin was just ok. We paid $245 a night! Was that an off season rate. Seems like lots of things were shut down because of “off season.” Plus a coffee POT was listed with coffee. We had a keurig with one pod of hot chocolate, tea, decaffeinated coffee and ONE regular coffee. Both of us drink coffee…the office finally agreed to give us 6 more regular coffee pods. We were there 3 days.

Great we were kept up with what was going on with texts on everything except when you were out of firewood. That would have been nice to know. We could have bought or brought some from the other campground.

Excellent stay. Beautiful area, there were things to do with our 1.5 year old when we were tired from a long day of hiking or driving. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back here great experience. They even helped jump start my truck one morning

Our stay at Ouray KOA was a great experience, especially since we are new at campground camping. The campground provided a great environment that made us comfortable and satisfied. All the staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. The helpful texts and reminders about wood and ice availability, for instance, were very helpful. We would definitely stay at Ouray KOA again.

Awesome place, fantastic location. Rented a Jeep on site, super easy and convenient, enjoyed a trail ride up the Last Dollar pass, the scenery was spectacular, as well as the million dollar hwy, The grounds are clean and tidy, the staff friendly and helpful!

Great site and location is ok (not as close to the town of Ouray or any other restaurants, etc. (and there is no food available for purchase at the site). Common bathrooms/showers are very limited, heavily used/soiled and there is always a wait. For the high $$ rate, I would have expected better. Customer service at the site office/shop is great!

Campground was clean/well maintained and staff were friendly. My only constructive criticism is that the tent site in front of the office feel like they’re on top of each other. Wish there was a little more space.

The Oaray staff are wonderful. The whole crew are busy all day keeping things well kept and people happy. The cabin and facilities were well kept. Our cabin was awesome. We had a babbling brook, a beautiful deck, and furniture to enjoy the great outdoors!! It was a wonderful stay!! Thanks to the Oaray team!!!

The remodeled grounds are awesome although can be a bit noisy for campers as they have been relocated along the road coming into the campground. However there's plenty of space and the camping pits are soft with wood mulch so be sure to have a good ground sheet. Restrooms/showers are amazing. I came in late and it was very nice of the hosts to provide the number for the restrooms on the form

Would have been a five star but unfortunately the women’s showers were being renovated at the time. Also it was unfortunate that the cafe and bar was closed too early in the season, should be open and maintained through the third week of October. Loved the Halloween decorations. I met Chad one of the hosts and he was very nice, welcoming and helpful.

The campground is well situated off the highway nestled in the neighboring mountains. It is well maintained and has amenities (including pet friendly), restaurant, and store that provide all one needs to be worry free. Alyssa and Chelsea in the office/store are more than super friendly and helpful. We plan to return.

Loved the text updates about firewood availabilityand last calls on delivery, and general info changes, (except the one that came through in the middle of the night) lovely place and great views at this location.

KOA Ouray was absolutely wonderful. Not ONE complaint. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Grounds, laundry room are very clean. Situated in the middle of the Ouray town and Ridgway. Keep up the excellent work.

Nice property and a great location! Our only issue was the wood burning campfires. There were a few nights where the smoke from other peoples campfires was so heavy that it made it hard to sleep. We had to close all the windows and run the AC but it still was too strong of a smell! Not sure what can be done except maybe require folks to put out fires by 10pm????

The wood was too expensive and there was no discount. Every other koa across the US does a discount. The campground itself was great as always

The only reason that I do not do a 5 is because we were in spot 84 pull through spot and we didn’t sit outside because of the traffic and the foot traffic that drove and walked by our spot. Need to put up a tall fence to maybe help with some privacy for that spot. We just didn’t feel like we had privacy. Or was awkward sitting out there.

Although full, the campground was clean, organized and quiet. Even though we didn’t have a dog, the dog walk is a great idea!

We rented a deluxe cabin and it was great - clean, comforable and right on the creek. The staff was very communicative via text with any happenings at the campground during our stay (shower house updates, lost & found, etc). The location was lovely and very central between Ridgway and Ouray. Loved our visit!

This is an absolutely wonderful campground. Friendly helpful employees, very clean restrooms, safe, peaceful. I choose to stay here versus anywhere else when I am in the area.

Lovely stay at this campground. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. We didn’t use any other amenities at the campground. Very friendly office staff.

Friendly staff, great campsite for a KOA. Site had a picnic table and fire ring with creek running behind it. Restrooms were clean. Breakfast at their restaurant was nice.

My favorite place to camp and we drove 17 hours just to stay at this location. Excellent accommodations, amazing staff, and perfect location for any itinerary.

Great stay. We will be back. Tent camped for 4 days next to the creek. The food was great.
