You put a 43 foot class A motorhome in a spot with known electrical issues on a holiday weekend. You had no where to move.We could not run any power without tripping a breaker and potentially damaging our rV, the only solution was to camp without power that night and move to another campsite the following night. We had no where to go everything was booked. WHY would you put anyone in that spot???

As a VIP and frequent camping member, this is the WORST KOA I have ever stayed in. Will not come back Ever! Rude hosts, no information, closed restaurant and bar on a Friday, (said it opens Wednesday only after we asked) offered no help or info. Dusty, Unlevel and undelineated sites. We and neighboring campers all felt as if we were infringing upon each other. Worst campground I’ve ever booked

Wonderful family stay. Restrooms and showers were clean. Staff was super friendly and really helpful. We’ll definitely stay again.

Campground is duty with poorly placed hook ups in the back rear camping area. Also no WiFi at all. We had to sit by the store to look up area trails and restuarants. Hope new owners improve soon.

The facilities were nice, one could see ongoing improvements, the wifi was only good if we were near the office, but not at all near our RV.

Please provide wifi on the late checkin note. We’re from Canada and had to turn on our data just to find out that wood was $9.50— on top of a $63 dollar campsite (ridiculous). So it cost us well over $20 for 8 pieces of wood. The creek running through is nice though and the showers were nice and clean.

Loved the creek behind us, pine trees everywhere, friendly and helpful staff, did laundry in a very nice facility...loved everything about this campground.

Your advertisement is misleading you said you had Wi-Fi throughout the park and you do not. We paid a premium to stay at this KOA. The sites are very tight we stayed in the rear of the campground back by the tents and it is very stinky by the bathhouse. We cannot fit in our first assigned site so they moved us to another site. The staff was great.

Your campground needs serious updates on the sites. They need to be graveled and leveled to be better all around. The flies are awful and are likely due to the location of the stable. I suggest the stable be relocated somewhere away from the camp.

Well kept place, friendly staff. Beautiful. My only complaint is the paperwork and website say the store is open till 8 thru September and when I went at 5:30 to grab supplies for dinner there was a sign on the door that said closed at 5. �

You need to project the wi fi over the entire camp, or at least inform there's no wi fi at that part of the camp. That was very disappointing.

Campground was OK, restrooms/showers were very dirty. I have showered in some pretty nasty places but would not shower here.

Great time, Ouray is gorgeous. The camp itself is about 10 min out of town but the drive is amazing beautiful. I've been in at least 6 different KOA and this one is the best bathroom/shower so far. Highly recommend it.

Come here every year around September and October for several weeks sometimes a month. It’s absolutely great. Probably the nicest KOA I’ve ever stayed at. Even better than the real nice one in Montana. Love it here.

No issues at all, had a great stay. Was witness to some very rude customers toward the staff, they kept their composure when I would not have. Ilka keep smiling!

Overall it was great! We noticed there seemed to be a shortage in staff in kitchen but the food was still great! Just took longer for breakfast. Also we noticed a huge knat infestation this year where we didn’t see them like this last year. The bathrooms needed to be constantly monitored to keep the knats off the sink/counter but not sure what you do about them.

Very poor senior management, defensive of reservation errors, refused to listen to complaints about cleaning issues, said if we were unhappy we could leave campground. No warning lack of breakfast Monday. Dining rm & bar not open. Food served in steriform containers.Restrooms cleaned 9AM just when campers need relief. Really miss former private owners!!!

People were blasting music and being loud until 1am, no quiet hour enforcement. They fit 4 campsites into what should have been 1 campsite - we had 2 tents from the strangers next to us within 10 feet of us. I have camped almost every weekend in the summer since I was a child, and this was, hands down, the worst camping experience I've ever had. $80 a night is INSANE.

The employees were amazingly friendly and helpful. The problem was with the other campers. Most people had their dogs with them which is nice. However, several people do not pick up their pet’s poo. We had to clean up a pile before we could hook up our camper. If people are going to be completely rude, then someone will need to be hired at the KOA and do it for them.

Beautiful area. Campground is really nice in parts and not so nice in others. We were placed in between the tent area and the bathrooms causing people to walk through our site all night long as well as all day. Absolutely no privacy when people are walking over our camp rugs and walking up to pet our dogs when we have them in our little dog pen directly under our awning. Need better defined sites.

We arrived 2 hours early and our site was ready so we were able to check in early. A big plus after driving 21 hours. Staff is very courteous. This was our 2nd stay and everything was again very nice and smooth. It would benefit some to update the hours of the cafe on the we page. As we'd planned to utilize daily until checking in we were informed it was closed 2 days a week. Pleasant stay.

Very good stay. Staff were very professional. I would suggest two things. First, consider some small number of ground lights for people to make it to the restrooms. And put a light on the restroom so you can see your way to it at night. Otherwise a great stay.

Arrived late on Labor Day weekend, no reservation. Needed trees for 3 hammocks. The woman working the desk went WAY above and beyond and was able to switch some sites around to get us a site for the entire weekend. She was absolutely awesome and not only that but genuinely happy to help me. The campground was packed for Labor Day as is to be expected but the facilities were kept respectable.

Neat little cabin with bunk bed room. A little expensive, but it’s a resort area. Service was outstanding. Check the hot water in the bathroom sink.

I have stayed at this KOA about 20 times for a week or more at a time over the last 40 + years tenting. I have seen the ownership change 3 - 4 times. The personnel are very nice, helpful, very pleasant people. I have eaten at the restaurant and it was very good. The bathhouse in the back tenting area needs to be improved.

Gentlemen that checked me in was very helpful and accommodating. Cabin and restrooms were clean. The restaurant was an awesome bonus, food was very tasty. Would definitely come back.

It was the worst camping experience I’ve ever had and I camp a lot!! Those were NOT camp sites and KOA should be ashamed to steal money from people. Everyone around the “camp site” was feeling the same way. Glad I brought my backpacking tent because there was no room for my 4 man car camping tent.

Could not connect to internet. We were informed next day that could connect closer to office! Why were we not informed. Disappointing small sights for trailer. Had I known no internet wouldn’t have stayed!!!! �

Very nice campground. Very nice people. Beautiful area. Great location. Only complaint is no wifi in parts of the campground and wasn’t told until after we set up. Not a huge deal but would’ve been nice to be told. But we highly recommend.

The whole place looks better now KOA took it over. The restrooms in remote area need a little help. WiFi needs help too. We already made reservations for next year.

Without the particular sites we had we would not have stayed here. There are only about 5 sites that are worth the money.Have been going here for about 20 years every other year. Over the past couple trips camp spots have been jammed in and trees thinned out. Staff remains outstanding. Sorry to see the place becoming a parking lot camp ground.

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded.
