First time to stay at a KOA. Surroundings, grounds very nice. For me, it is just too crowded. Sites being so close together is not what I look for when camping. Stayed there because my friends invited me to jeep and they stay at KOA camps. So, my preferences should not be a reflection of this KOA -it is very well maintained.

we have had a wonderful place and a wonderful time. Erick was very wonderful, has had the wifi very quickly repaired. All other peoples was great. Many trees and a wonderful sight to the mountains.

Site was level but cramped. Luckily we hit it off with neighbors and shared a fire in the best fire pit of the two between the sites. We weren’t notified of fire restrictions until neighbor told us they received a text from KOA. Loved the restaurant food. We’ll go back to off season to get better sites with more room and less loud kids.

We did not get what we paid a reservation fee for because your inline map is inaccurate and the agent we made the booking with obviously did not know the camp site layout. Also it would be helpful if the bathrooms are closed at around 11am when folks have check out rather than 8.30am when folks need the bathrooms !! Something has changed. Seems like new management because it was never like this.

The staff is what makes this campground the best! The grounds are clean, the staff is very helpful, they go out of their way to see your needs are taken care of. We hope to visit the area again, and if we do, we will be staying here.

I doubt that you really care, but I'll tell you anyway. This is the worst KOA I've ever stayed in & I do not recommend it. It's much too expensive to have dirt/dusty roads! We were told the construction going on would be completed on Monday, 3 days after our arrival. We stayed all week & nobody came & fixed anything. People drive thru there blowing dirt & dust all over all of our campsites, people

Stayed here for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our time with the kids who joined us for 3 of the days. The little stream behind us was such a relaxing sound to listen to as we fell asleep. Nice and close to the town of Ouray.

Trouble at check-in. Someone had parked in our spot -and the experience at the on site grill was a disappointment. Otherwise - staff was great as was the campsite. We stayed at the Ouray RV Riverside park before yours and We prefer that Park to the KOA - but yours was good - but it should be given the price you charge!

We weren’t told that the campground (specifically the area we were assigned) was under construction. There were large ditches everywhere, and the construction guys had to stop us from following the map the office gave us or they said we would ended up in one of them. Really disappointing. The lower level sites looked okay though.

Site 50 is terrible. Construction, sewer smell and fine dust covering everything as people drive too fast. The family we are traveling with wouldn’t even come to our site. We will not be back.

Mostly level spots, well maintained gravel roads and pads, well stocked store, nice coffee shop and very friendly and helpful staff. Multi stay customer, will be back!

Entire place is either dirt or gravel (no grass). Great place to stay for off-roaders. The site I had was quite small although there were many other sites with more space.

We stayed four days while Jeeping in the area. The spot we had was plenty big for our RV and trailer. We didn’t use many of the facilities but everything was clean and the entire campground was quiet. Right before leaving my awning would not retract, The sent a maintenance guy over with a ladder to help. Will definitely stay here again.

Great park and helpful staff. Attendant drove a golf cart to our site and helped guide me back into our somewhat difficult (tree spacing) spot. Got it on the first try!

Beautiful location in the San Juan mountains! Staff was friendly and helpful. The Deluxe Cabin we stayed in was really nice! My wife is already talking about when she wants to go back again.

I was so impressed with how many people working there and how they worked hard at keeping the place immaculate. One thing I was disappointed in was that there was not a good place to walk the dogs in the section across the irrigation ditch. I had to walk them by the road when I didn’t want to make the walk all the way across the park to the dog yard. Otherwise, the park was great!

Great facility, great staff, great leadership (Jeff). Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. Communication for outages (electricity, ice, etc) was on time and thorough. Definitely noticed the continued grounds improvements this year too. Couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for having us for Solid Axle Summit!

We really enjoyed our stay overall! The bathrooms were clean, the customer service was great. The only complaint we had were that the front bathrooms were closed a few times during that week (women's). Aside from that, things were great!

Stayed for a weekend. Campground was almost full, but it was always clean and quiet. Had good places to walk with our dogs. Will stay here again.

I cant thank Jeff and the staff enough. Campgrounds are always clean, bathrooms and showers are perfect for campers. Solid Axle Summit group has had our gathering here for 8 years and we really enjoy the ease of access to all Ouray Holiday KOA offers to our group that comes from all parts of the United States. We always feel welcome and look forward to next year.

Was a large campground with bark chip walkway next to stream. sites pretty close together but well maintained. beware of dog walk- must stay on pathway or get attacked by cactus ! staff super nice. wish i would've found little cafe sooner. but muffins & cookies were delish!!!!

Nice campground. Almost 5 stars but for couple things. The good: Great staff, one of best stocked stores encountered, clean restrooms and showers, wooded, and nice fire-pit. The not quite as good: Nice laundry room but 2 of 5 dryers out of order. (All washers working so had to wait on getting a dryer). It has a restaurant. In evening had a pizza and fried ravioli which hit the spot. For breakfast didn't quite hit the mark. Our friends had pancakes and sausage patties and the patties were underdone. I had a breakfast skillet which was good , but bacon was small shreds had to hunt for. Husband's hiker's breakfast (fruit and eggs) was great. All in all glad to have stayed there.
