Bathrooms need hard plastic mats outside of showers in the “back field” Showers. Floor was dirty/muddy because of water collecting right outside the showers. Plumbing is a little messed up, valves are reversed and vents and heaters need to be Cleaned, or replaced. Heaters did not work. Paper towel were empty on 2 different occasions. Biggie!! KOA needs to upgrade Wi-Fi to back field!

We have never been to a KOA before and had a wonderful time! We stayed 3 nights with friends in the cabins and we’re impressed by the size, amenities, cleanliness, and layout of the KOA. The porch was large and made hanging out nice at night. Every staff member we encountered were so friendly and helpful!! The food at the cafe/ restaurant was also delicious. We will absolutely be back!

The campsite is beautiful with full amenities however the knat infestation was brutal at night and we had very noisy Neighbors behind us that kept us up. Would ask for a quiet location next time

Truly one of the best commercially-operated camping experiences I have ever had! Wonderful, helpful staff. This KOA camp has exceptional amenities including clean, well-kept bathrooms and showers, manicured grounds, and adequate space between sites. But, also a GREAT restaurant! Truly a treasure in the KOA inventory- we'll be back!

Great location. We reserved site 30 which only had one adjoining campsite, so we had excellent privacy. We used the laundry facilities, which we were able to accomplish our laundry washing, but the room is need of a major renovation. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was great! We stayed in June and returned in Sept. Great location and staff, only concern would be staffing, office closing at 5pm was a little bit of a bummer but we understand that staffing levels were low. Will be back in 2023! See you soon!

We love it here and have stayed here several times. My only, very small comment, is that when I am paying such a high price to stay at a KOA, I would expect the restaurant to be open as advertised. It was closed all but two mornings that we were there. Other than that, everyone is so helpful and nice. Grounds are clean as are all of the facilities.

Nice place to stay if you want to be close to the town of Ouray, but not IN town... 4-5 miles to town & 2 falls, 10 miles to Ridgway Reservoir north.

We have a 45 foot coach and found that the brand new premium lots in the front were the best options for us. The other sites are a little too tight for a big rig. Great spot for jeep’n and we loved the adorable town of Ouray!

This was one of the nicest KOAs we have ever stayed in, from an atmosphere and appearance perspective. However, we were shocked by the lack of cable tv or Wi-Fi. That is completely unheard of, in our experience. Good thing we were able to have campfires at night to minimize the impact of those missing amenities.

The stay was very good; and facilities were well taken care of; however the expectation that the restaurant facilities would be open was not realized. I feel that the cost of the site is indicative of the resources that one would expect to be available during their stay, and when those resources are not available, the pricing should reflect a discount based on those resources not being available.

It was beautiful setting. Loved the large deck on a deluxe cabin. Only disappointment was the coffee maker. Advertised as a keurig but they had a 12 cup drip. I brought my k cup coffees and no keurig. Fortunately I brought my french press. Scenery was beautiful. Jeeps everywhere if you love 4 wheeling. I recommend a deluxe cabin if you want privacy. Can't wait to go again! Loved it!

First impressions are important.From the first phone call to our in person check-in, I didn’t feel like a KOA valued customer.I’m very tolerant, but the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was rude and abrupt, beginning with a misunderstanding about our payment, to arguing with me during check in. As a former business owner, I’d be broke if I treated my customers the way he treated me. Soooo

Our 4th time to Ouray KOA and it was like the rest, excellent. The park is always clean and we enjoy seeing the owner/staff working on different improvements.

There was a huge problem with tiny black flying bugs (knats?) in our cabin 22. Although I did not report the problem, maybe there is something that could be done to minimize the problem with the bugs, such as have door that has a better seal, something similar to our friends' cabin 81. They did not have any issues with bugs. Great job on keeping the bathroom and the campground very clean and tidy!

We stayed in a camping cabin. It felt like we were sleeping on the wooden bed frame. There was a one inch opening at the bottom of the door that allowed biting midges to come into the cabin. Worst night of sleep we’ve ever had. The bathrooms had so many dead bugs near sinks and in showers that it was disgusting.

Cabin had not been cleaned recently. Flag was not properly mounted on the wall. Door did not close completely—needs adjustment—let’s bugs in.

Very Friendly Staff. Especially Evelyn. Jeff was awesome. Paid attention to detail. I met Sara who was amazing, friendly and kept everything so clean. Only comment is that the turn around space in front of the office is very tight for big rigs to maneuver. Cars parked and the pickups in front of the campers by the laundry area made it inconvenient. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

I’ve stayed at this KOA the last three years and this was the least enjoyable stay. The store was closed the hours I was actually there because I was out on the trail during the day. Also, the restaurant was closed 90% of my stay.

We started out just staying two nights but added a third and the staff was amazing at accommodating the additional night. Everyone was so nice and our campsite was great. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great time. The camp was beautiful. The staff were very friendly. This is a great basecamp for your exploration of Ouray, Silverton, Telluride, and 4x4 trips into the San Juan mountains.

Receptionist Sandi was cheerful, efficient, extremely helpful. Went out of her way for us. Thank you! Weekend closure of restaurant was an annoying surprise, especially in view of the alarming increase in prices for cabins and sites. If we have to cook, might as well use a (free) National Forest pull-out.

Nice place. Needs a playground. Not the nicest staff we've had at KOAs, not very welcoming. Clay and Evelyn were exceptions, they were great. The horseback riding is a definite plus, as was the Jeep rental. They need to use the KOA in Alamosa, CO as an example of service, they were stellar.

Was just a bit disappointed from last year The restaurant & bar was fabulous last year -it was a little bit to be desired this year although the food was good the night we ate the bathroom shampoo and things were empty as well as there was a blood stain mattress pad when I took the sheets off —no kitchen towels or hot pads but when we needed something everyone was kind & Got it for us-

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded. We have booked again for next..
