We liked almost everything about the campground and we'll be back in the future. The only downside was our site location next to the playground and next to the office. The playground was too close. The children and adults playing there were loud and some of them kept coming over and using our table and camp chairs. Also, there was too much traffic around the office.

We loved our stay! The park was serene and even to be so full, it was quiet at night. We stayed in a Camping Cabin and it suited us perfectly. The restrooms/showers were always clean. Every employee was friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Aaron, Eric, and Kara!! This was our first time at this property but definitely will not be our last! We're already planning a trip for next fall.

We've stayed here 4 years in a row and the facility and staff have gotten better every year. We appreciate the constant improvement. The layout is friendly to a variety of campers. Tent campers, car campers, trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes all have good sites available. The store is one of the best you'll find in an RV campground. The laundry room was clean and well equipped.

I’m sure others enjoyed their stay. There are great spots. Through luck of the draw and poor design our campsite was right next to the playground. I don’t mean like 6 feet away, try 1 foot away. Imagine 13 children running through your camp I can’t post photos here but, they will for sure be on google review. If you are getting up early for hikes, bike rides etc... request not by the pl

We like Ouray and this was our second time staying at the KOA, staff are friendly and facility’s are clean. I’m giving it 3 stars due to the group that was around us being super loud all night, parking wherever they wanted, playing rap music loud during the day. Nobody from KOA would say anything to them and our guess it’s because they are a large group that brought in the money$$$$.

We were in Site 92 (as I recall?) it was fine. The staff was super friendly and the internet was the only issue. It was terrible - which may not be an issue for some, but when you have to get some work done, or entertain the kids in a cramped space during an almost-daily rain storm, it becomes a situation. There isn't much of a view from this site if that's important to you.

My husband, son (4 year old), and I stayed at the KOA for 4 days/ 3nights and we loved it. The bathrooms facilities were clean, campsites were large, and staff members were friendly and so accommodating. We would definitely go back, only difference is we would request to stay in a spot that has more trees/ shade as ours was full sun which made it a little hot! Other than that, my family loved it!

Not having a paved driveway from the highway to the office creates too much dust from every vehicle that enters the campground to check in or when vehicles depart. Having each designated parking space with concrete for your RV would also stop the dust. The dirt sites should have concrete for tables, chairs in order to keep the sites clean. Wood chips were thinly spread it sticks to everything.

Overall we enjoyed the campsite. Only issue we had was dryer number 2 did not fully dry out clothes. When I tried to add more time it took my quarters. Prob needed to be in dryer a full other cycle and all the other dryers were occupied. Had to hang clothes all inside trailer overnight

This campground was lovely and clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. The showers and bathrooms were kept clean and there was plenty of hot water available. I was able to get a site on the same day! My ONLY complaint is that the sites are so very close to each other. I stayed in a tent site and I was practically in my neighbors' laps. It was perfect for one night.

Fabulous KOA central to all the activities we had planned in the area. The site was wonderful!!! The staff was friendly and helpful and knowledgable especially concerning local hikes. If your in the area this is a must camping experience!

This is a great KOA near Ouray. The natural mountain scenery is beautiful. The help / employees were all outstanding and friendly and made the stay very nice for us. We would stay here again.

Friendly staff and campground is close to great activities. Campsites are always luck of the draw though and we weren’t too lucky. It (#11) )was west facing and just too much afternoon sun, even with our awning out.

There is a stream that runs through the camp and lots of big trees. The camp is kept clean and there are so many things to do in this part of Colorado. The staff is great and the scenery is breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

My rating is based on comparison with previous stays at this location. Overall my stay was pleasant. I do miss the cafe being available all week. Also, under new management the store closes early, usually we are not back from trails in time. Lots of trees have died which is sad and for unknown reasons.

The late check in time sucks. Also saw when walking around campground there were dogs that were not on leash or tied up.

Great staff and great park. The general manager was very nice and helpful. The park is well kept from grounds to the bathrooms with plenty for kid’s to do. It is very expensive however.

We hated the shared campside in the full hookup pull through site. Very awkward for the campers who are paying a premium for this site and very greedy layout for the campground owners, who obviously sacrificed camper experience for profit, squeezing in every rig they possibly could. This was the most expensive and most crowded RV park we've every stayed in. We will NEVER be back.

Ouray KOA was great! Close to the town of Ouray. Workers were very friendly and accommodating. Sites were clean. Bathrooms were okay, could be cleaner. Weird smells around our site by the K9 camp. BUT overall, great experience!

Very clean and well maintained. I really like how they take great concern about safety and cleanliness in the park, sending out text messages to ensure that people are obeying the rules. Nice stay considering the park was completely full when we stayed there. All the campers were polite as is usual with KOAs. Which is why we stay there.

The campground was great as always. The only drawback was that we were placed right in the middle of the FSJ group meeting. We had cars parked almost completely blocking our area and a multitude of people walking back and forth through our camp spot. The people were nice enough, it just made it hard to relax and enjoy when we were unwillingly involved in a large group gathering.

We try and get to Ouray KOA at least once a year. The staff is usually over the top amazing. That said, it felt like there was a different management team there this year (2025). It is still a great place to stay but the customer experience was definitely off this year.

It was great. We will stay longer on our next trip. The campground is a little tight, but it accommodates many people. It is a small distance off the road which helps with highway noise. The staff is awesome.

Camp ground is always clean n free of debris never any trash on the ground! The shower house/ restroom is always clean spotless after it's been cleaned. Staff is always friendly, courteous, and happy! The store had everything needed and they delivered almost everything with very reasonable prices service with a smile 😃. We'll be making some reservations here in the near future love and enjoyed every moment of this last camping trip there they made our little vacation very pleasant!

Nice size lots and a nice big campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and the location is perfect! Great small local hikes with dogs is ideal and easy here. Close to town and easy to get to larger town if needed. Quiet. The stream through the campground is lovely. We saw deer every day on our hikes in the park.
